Tiamat was alot easier than what the guide made it seem basically you just have to watch out whenever it uses the dark mega flare which didn't do as much damage as I thought it would actually. As for my favorite character I would probably have to go with Irvine.

Dark Flare once did about 8000 damage to my party but it was a blessing because I destroyed him next turn with lionheart.

the same for me, he did dark flare and did 8000 damage, then i unloaded with duel, and renzokuken

I started off the battle with using triple and casting Aura on Squall, Rinoa, and Selphie so pretty much Tiamat didn't really get the chance to use Dark Flare only once I believe but I also had shell and protect on the entire party as well.

Squall killed himself using Renzokuken once because I was fighting a Blitz & it was electrified & I used Renzokuken & killed him & myself I soon realized it when the battle was over.

How I hate Malboros!
The easiest way to kill them is to use Degenerator
(Thank God For Quistis)
or wait for odin which is not so effective

My definite favorite part of the game was when you had to explore Lunatic Pandora and in Disc 2 Galbadia Garden from Disc 1 I have to say Deling City

My favorite boss fight was Cerberus and Adel.

Lol whenever I encoutered a Malboro I always hoped that Odin would come in and finish it off right then but if he didn't I would just run, without Odin I would've never gotten the 6 tentacles for Doomtrain.

I had rare item and when i was escaping odin appeared and killed malboro
i got 10 malboro tentacles and the 2nd time 10 curse spikes all i needed was the steel pipes
then i got my doomtrain =D then i was able to do all those status ups and maximize some of my characters

I found that if I was holding the L2 and R2 buttons before the monster finally appears Odin had a better chance at showing up and it worked 2 out of the 5 times that I tried it, not a very good show up rate but I was used to always doing that so it didn't really bother me that much.

Lol yeah that was after the whole space fiasco, what got me the most was that they never officially said that: [SPOILER]Raine was Squall's mother and Laguna was his father[/spoiler] but one would come to expect that in a sense.

I know but what's really ironic is

[Spoiler] Julia could've been squall's mother instead of rinoa's and julia laguna's love ended up being rinoa's mother [/spoiler]

They should make a remake I love this game and it would be ridiculously graphically sweet =D

Yeah that's true if Laguna didn't leave and everything. Maybe 1 or 2 tops but I don't want it to end up like VII with so many other spinoffs.

I know VII was milked to the max like i love the game but why do all good things get milked for more than they are worth

Yeah that opening cutscene was one of the most important highlights in the game for me personally in which it shows that there is going to be some sort of rivalry between the main character and their nemesis.
