Miku from An Cafe is a Quistis look-alike imo. ^^

I always made sure to battle everyone I could. Forget the story line, I loved the card game.

It was simple really. If you have a chance, I suggest going back to it and giving it a play.

YouTube - Final Fantasy VIII Final Triple Triad Games

That should give some insight on how to play. Even though the player isn't that good.

I would write out how to play. Just look at the numbers.

-high fives- same here!

When I first bought the game my team was Rinoa, Squall and Zell. Rinoa, after I beat the 1st time I wanted to kill her. Seriously, most ANNOYING and USELESS character in all of the FF series! Zell, I didn't like his Limit Break. Period.

Quistis and Irvine became my favorite characters, then I usually alternated with Selphie, cause I realized just how useful her Slot Limit was.

She is the one who made the "big changement" in Squall, became one sorceress, has been possessed the final boss and thus made the monster attack on Earth, was necessary to absorb the power of others sorceress, saved Squall at the end and is in about every important scene, with an important part.

Useless...? :/ She is not useless. As for annoying, it's to each their own, though personally I don't see how she is annoying.

She never seemed to do any real decent damaged when I used her the first time, but knowing my luck I got a defected Rinoa lol.

I'll admit she did have a large part though from my perspective I found the love between Squall and Rinoa to be rather forced along with the 'big changement'.

Rinoa can do some serious damage in your team if you learn to handle her correctly, and in my opinion, it's worth trying.
You need to regularly check the advancement of the limit of her dog for she learns a maximum of her limit break. She has a limit break making the team invincible, one making considerable damage to the enemy and one making her go berserk but overpowering all of her magic. The first one is priceless if you're in difficulty while a battle, though I admit it being random.
With the good G-Force, the good weapon and her limit, Rinoa is a very interesting choice IMO, and can do some real damage.

As for her love with Squall, it's one of the rare pairing I love. I found it rather well done personally, we can clearly see at first she annoyed him totally, but quickly he cared for her, non admitting it. She's the one who stopped him from diving in loneliness, forever.

Oh, just about Zell limit. I agree, it can be very annoying. Nevertheless, you should try to train to it, his limit is the most damaging of the team if you perfectly know how to do it. It's followed by Squall's, Irvine's and Rinoa's in damaging stats.

As far as triple triad goes, that game is horribly addictive :p

I get into playing it for hours at a time, get it all done at onece then go back to the rest of the game
