Hehe, I'll bet ya guys didn't notice this! (Unless you own the strategy guide)

You know when fighting the fake Prez Deling (who I swear looks like George Bush...lol) and he turns into that Zombie thing? In the US version of teh game, he's all bluish. But in the JP version as well as shown in the strategy guide, it's red (you know, like gore and such) My guess is that Square edited it to avoid an M rating, because, you know, it'd look SO MUCH LESS disturbing with blue than with red...lol.

I hated him when I first fought because he put status effects on my party & I wasnt too skilled in the game like I am now. I have the strategy guide myself & it gives the wrong info for example it said that
the oil monsters had a maximum of 1068 Hp.

Yeah, strategy guides give alot wrong information... I don't really use them unless I just want to buy it for no other reason than it has to do with the game i'm currently obsessing over... lol. But they can help.

Lol and the Prez. Deling does look like Bush! That's intersting about the color...

With the in-game graphics for some reason headmaster cid looks like

Final Fantasy VIII, i would love a remake for this game =) it was perfection
too bad there cant be a sequel because it was all finished up

A think a simple PSP port would suffice ^^;; remakes won't come until 12+ years after the original release and IF the company agrees on it...

I'm not really going to be very excited if they do make a spin-off of the series there really isn't that much left to tell, other than Laguna's story but most of the main parts about him have already been covered.

It would indeed be awesome to see FF8 in HD. highly doubt that square are gona make remakes but it sure would be brilliant.
