Default Re: final fantasy XII revenant wings help

Since that entire area is basically full of fire type enemies put ranged water units like Shivar and/or Shiva into your Esper Troupe. For the battle with Mydia try to include a rank II Esper like Siren, also make sure to have Kytes in your main party to use Blizzaga.

Also make sure to try and capture all of the summon gates since they increase your Affinity, also make sure to try and fight the Lamias with Shiva or other Esper units that resist confuse or equip your party members with accessories that make them immune to confuse.

When you're ready to face Mydia get rid of all of your rangd Espers except for Shiva since her and Kytes can quickly defeat any stray enemy flyers quickly. Since now that you have some more Affinity by you dismissing all of your other ranged Espers summon flying Espers.

Make sure to keep your leaders back and let your flying Espers lead on with the attacking. Make sure to use any Quickenings that become available. If you've deployed Filo make sure to use her Power Snare ability, and if you've deployed Basch use his Protectga ability to minimize the damage done to your party.
