Mission

Our mission is simple. We, as volunteers, devote our time to purifying the darkness that is consuming our world.
Yet this fight is not only against the physical manifestation of darkness.
Our fight is also against those who have seized the darkness and wish to use it to bring destruction to our once peaceful world.

Edit#1: It has been brought to my attention that the complex math I expect the general inferno population of varying ages to know is too hard. I'm a nice guy though, so you can have a number. Though you guys can explain it to Σ. Poor, poor Σ.

Also, should we focus on getting squad points? I read on the Primer that we could trade in items for points.

If all else fails, that would be a viable option. I just hate consolidating our funds into something that we can't get back. Especially if there is something like an auction. A few hundred squad points may look nice, but that won't win us rare items. I also feel buying the points would be premature, since we don't even have a base yet. So until we have a need for squad points, we won't be buying any.

Oh, and you know those silly orphans won't bother to learn how to read. Though I did hear they are quite skilled at making origami cranes.

First turf battle's almost coming up. If it's an one on one event, which of us would represent the squad?

On a somewhat related note, my school unexpectedly moved the first day of class from tomorrow to next week. Kinda relieving though it doesn't change the fact that my summer's ending ;-; So yeah, if the turf event's gonna be continuing as scheduled, then I will definitely make it. If it gets moved and it's a two on two battle, we will be in quite a predicament.

If it is continuing as planned, and is a one on one, I'll probably let you do it. I have to go on vacation Monday, and I'll be gone for a span of nine days. Now here's the problem. I know I can access the forums from my phone, but I've yet to get the inferno to act right. I might be able to tether my phones internet to my laptop somehow, but I'm still working on that. So if it is a two on two, and occurs next week, I guess I'll just have to find a Starbucks or something. If it's moved and is a two on two, we can work around that when the time comes. Lastly, if it's moved and it's a one on one, I can just participate. Basically our problems revolve around it being a two on two. Maybe we can get a new squad buddeh before then, though. Keep your fingers crossed.

Also, tasks. Yes or No?

When a third member joins, then tasks would be reasonable. So, it's a no from me. Also, new squad buddy would be a godsend. But with the lag that most experience, it drives new players away. And without new players, no new talent to recruit.

Though if we manage to win a turf, then we'll have a lot of room. We might even end up letting those non-reading, origami-making orphans move in with us.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I need to resign from the squad, sadly. I need to focus on other things aside from the KHInferno for a couple of weeks. Might even reach to months. Don't really see the need of me in a squad until I'm ready to come back.

Participants Allowed Per Squad: 3-5 Members.

It's preferred if those entered did NOT partake in the Turf Challenge. However there is no rule/penalty against it.

Sign ups are due in Raeneth's PM box by Friday. Those who PM on Saturday are fail and will not be allowed in.

In your Squad's PM you simply need to have the names (KHI User Name is preferred) or Inferno Scan Link (Copy Paste from your Member List) for each player.

In addition if you'd like to request a special event time, please do so in your email. If you do not then I will assume that you don't mind the original timing structure. The time slot used will be outlined below.

Rules:
You are Not Allowed to trade components with anyone outside of your Squad. Don't even think about collecting them because the components will be deleted following the event.

On the day of the event the people listed as being eligible will be given speshul component that will allow access to the Event Playground. Ever wonder what that other map spot is next to the Event Center? You'll soon know.

The event will run for Five Hours. The time of the event will be 1:00 PM -> 6:00 PM Central Standard Time.

11-4 PM PST
12-5 PM MST
1-6 PM CST
2-7 PM EST

Basically you will farm out enemies again and again to gather a component they drop. The object is to obviously collect as many as you can!

The Squad who wins will gain a small amount of Repute and Squad Points. In addition all of the members will receive a special Honour Mark Component. Additional prizes may be awarded.

You are allowed 1 Substitute player who will only be allowed to participate once the player subbing out has traded their entry ticket to them.

Squads are allowed to trade components between themselves, but I would advise against this as it won't affect the outcome of the event, and really it would be nicer to see exactly how many each player has gotten.

You wouldn't be able to win the main prize, but you'd be able to earn some Squad Points and Repute. Of course you don't have to at all, but I don't want any Squads left out.
