Default question? (spoiler)
alright so we all know now that xion is named xion after Vexen's experiment No.i.
AS he says his finest experiment. he was talking about another experiment that he needed to conduct more research on. Was this simply RIKU's clone or something more. Could this also have something to do with why axel killed VEXEN for no reason when vexen was clearly on their side and not rebelling.


Just thinking out loud. What do you guys think

Xion IS that experiment. They just gave her a name by going through the traditional "X + name + mixup" routine.

Riku's replica, no doubt, seeing how he took it with him to castle oblivion and resumed the experimentation there.

This has to do with Saix's plot and Axel helping him out on it. It was explained in-game, more or less.

Deep into the reports. At that point in time, Axel himself admitted to having gotten rid of both Vexen and Zexion because they would've gotten in Saix's way.

He's described to be the biggest backstabber of them all, actually, and one that uses Axel to do the dirty job for him. Marluxia sent Axel but because he wanted to see if Axel was part of their group, not as much as a pawn. They also tried to expand their little group of traitors, by even considering inviting Roxas along for the ride.
Saix got as close as he could to Xemnas so it'd be easier to do whatever the hell he wanted.
