Wake them up... Chamber of Awakening. >.> Imagine Roxas and Sora fighting side-by-side in the final boss fight of the game. That'd be really epic shit right thar. There ain't a being alive that can handle both of those two at once.

Yeah, though, being absorbed definitely seems to be a less-than-permanent solution. Roxas is clearly not gone completely as seen in KH2 and I doubt he'll ever fully go away. He's just too much cooler than Sora to just be stricken from the series.

Lol wait and see Xion's face on the floor in Riku's flashbacked-to Destati in KH3.

That would be spiffy. She'd be there for everyone to be like :D but it wouldn't force Nomura to squeeze her in and possibly screw her up.

It was almost as Sad as when goofy 'died' for me in kingdom hearts II but for me the Saddest scene in KH history was Sora's suicide, the idea behind it is beautiful and much purer then Romeo and Juliet. I also was sad for a brief second at the end of KH II when Sora and Riku are alone in the darkness.

It ties in with the CoA being where Ven is likely to be stuck - seeing how Aqua "is in" the CoR while "the other friend" is in the CoA. Roxas + Xion = Sora's obvious ties to Ven. Hence.

Which is kind of what I'm getting at about Xion as well. She was absorbed as well. Much like Roxas, she seems capable of affecting people even with her physical presence being gone - not only Roxas himself, but Riku too once he held the Oblivion in the Roxas vs. Riku fight. So I wouldn't write her off as permanently dead either.

I know. I really don't think they'd avoid such blatant fanservice, especially in light of how popular Xion seems to be.

I fail to see the comparison seeing how Romeo and Juliet died for each other, while Sora "died" so the Keyhole to Darkness won't blow up :c
