(Spoilers) Xion bugs me

It just bugs me that Xion is a being crafted from Sora's memory of Kairi, how is this possible?

Riku Replica was kind of made into a normal, scientific clone. No anomaly or abnormalities. They just gave him fake memories, is all, which lie in the Heart.

Xion, on the other hand, is crafted from Sora's memories as a whole.

Huh... Repliku said he had someone's heart that was not his own at one point in the game though.

Xion's really just like a step-up from Repliku. Repliku was a dummy with fake memories injected into it; Xion was made from memories entirely.

In all actuality, Xion was a step down. Just a beta for the future Replicas.

That's what doesn't make sense, because they refer to Xion as the "Superior Replica" in comparison to Repliku. Yet, going by Replicas, Repliku was the far better replica.

They refer to Xion and Repliku as "special Nobodies" though, which is why I don't think Repliku actually had a heart.

Nobodies in theory being emotionless beings would be boring. Which is why memories are the key thing to retaining some idea of how emotions are like. They may not have the heart but have what gives it form. For nobodies and perhaps the replicas, memories act like a placeholder heart.
