From the recent interview:
"Nomura: It is a fact that Saix and Axel probably wanted to take over the Organization, however they didn’t understand what they were going to do or how to do it. As for Xemnas, he knew about this betrayal, but never brought it up. Generally, one’s conduct was for the sake of their purpose.

Nomura: It is a fact that Saix and Axel were acquaintances as humans, and that fact might be touch upon in Birth By Sleep."

The Organization XIII is worthy to feature in a TV Show like "The Young and The Restless". Really.

It seems that Organization XIII was never intended to remain united...only to the point that Xemnas could complete KH and become God

Xemnas was more intent on using others, yes. Maybe that means that Saix planned to use Xemnas' plans against him; at least to the point of becoming whole again himself, as he spoke to Kingdom Hearts while dying.

Well saix knew how to hide that bretayal very well under the " i am xemnas' bitch" mask.As for BBS, there is some buzz about saix and axel being friends when they were humans.So hopefully we'll see them once again in BBS.

Would'nt be that bad, just depends on who does the anime.

Nomura has to be involved in it deeply too so the story wont suck.

Saix and Axel had an interested relationship and plotted to take over the organization. This story should be explained into more detail either by Novel/manga, Anime, or a game.
