I feel like this treachery issue has been overdone. Axel has now been relegated to what can be considered... a triple agent?

He seems like a traitor in CoM but he's really doing it to serve the Organization. Then he's actually branded as a traitor in KH2 when he's technically not. And now we find he might have actually been betraying the Organization.

Meh.

I'd just wrap it in that Axel does whatever the hell he wants, contradictory or not.

But if anything, destroying the group in CO actually benefited Saïx and their little ploy, other than Xemnas. As it was hinted and said in their conversation. So it wasn't like he was completely into the Organization as a whole.

i read somewhere that the reason saix was considered to be number 2 in charge is cuz axel had to bump him up in the ranks (which threaten or fight the others, i think) maybe that was part of their plan till xemnas found out and he probly told saix "if u quit ur plans i'll put u as number 2 in charge" so then the end of saix and axels friendship
