now i'm sticking to Ramza this time. also, i got War of the Lions. what's the difference between this one and the original?

Everything I can think of at the top of my head right now:

-Huge translation improvement
-Luso and Balthier
-Agrias and Beowolf sidequests
-Onion Knight and Dark Knight jobs
-Multiplayer
-Cutscenes with voice acting

Things that may or may not be in the game due to poor memory:

-Increased charge time
-Elidibus/Zodiark
-Higher cost of skills and whatnot

so i definitely want to play this game.

i've played FF Tactics Advance and A2, but i hear this one has an awesome story.
but i never realized that War of the Lions is just an improvement of this one? did i hear that right?

i'm not exactly excited about playing the PSOne version with old graphics and stuff on my PSP, so does War of the Lions provide the same experience as the original.

War of the Lions is indeed a remake of FFT, with a lot of extras and some tweaks (first and most obvious thing being that WotL received a new, much better translation). People complain about there being lag with spells and such, but to be honest, I think it's largely insignificant. I'm not sure if you'd even notice there was lag if you hadn't the original to compare it with.

The original, PSX FFT isn't that easy to come by nowadays, so I'd just get War of the Lions if you want to play the game at all. Outside of some extremely minor issues, it actually gives you a better experience than the original, which was already a gem of a game (IMO, one of Square-Enix's best games ever).

that's actually what i meant.

i'm willing to pay more for a physical copy of War of the Lions that i'll probably be happier with, as opposed to a digital copy of oldschool FFT.
