Dear Young Demigod,
If you are reading this post i must apologize, you life is about to get much more dangerous. You have probably realized that you are not like other people your age, this is because you are not a mortal human. To make a long story short, your a demigod, or half-blood. Basically some all powerful god got it on with your mother/father. Thus explaining why you never see your Mother/Father, or your mortal parent is just shielding you from the truth.
You also may have noticed strange beasts that you can see, but when you try to point them out people just call you crazy and then begin to poke fun at you. But don't fret my young half-blood, there is a safe haven for you, Camp Half-Blood. Camp Half-Blood is a place where demigods can live without the ridicule and danger of the outside world. That is, unless the dangers of the outside world come inside the camp.

Plot: Many people in society believe that magic doesn't exist, that it is a thing of the imagination and the deluded, a thing of fairy tales and childrens dreams. Others however believe that magic is similar to miracles, that magic is every breath you take, a sunrise on the horizon, and baby's first smile or giggle. Many people define magic as different things, some say miracle, some say madness, some say evil. For every good thing in the world there is something of equal value that is bad, for every birth a death, for every for every breath taken another is lost. Some say it is the circle of life some say it is divine retribution and others ignore it completely. No one can say for sure what magic is or what the creatures are that people claim are magic, they say that the myths of old are just that; Magical tales of fiction. However, for every myth or legend there is at least a grain of truth hidden within, of course whether it is a grain or a much larger amount many may never know. However all will agree that on June 6th 2066 magic happened.

Long ago, an Oracle by the name of Rachel foretold the coming of a great evil, an evil which if left unchecked would destroy the world. More then that no one could tell as is the nature of prophecies. Camp Half-Blood was all a stir with rumors and gossip that day, many campers wondered if such events would happen in their lifetime and if it did would they be the great heroes told about in the prophecy. Camp Half-Blood is home to a unique breed, children who have one mortal parent, and one immortal parent; They are the children of the Gods. Each child is given some of the gifts of their immortal parents and is claimed by them and placed in the right cabin in Camp Half-Blood. The job of the camp is to train these young heroes to fight monsters and vanquish evil on great heroic quests. Or rather that is what they were supposed to do, now it is mostly tradition since ever since Percy Jackson defeated Chronos the world has been much quieter. Life returned to it's monotony for the most part. And it all changed on that fateful night when all the pieces came together; That day was June 6th 2166

Spoilers – Rachel's Prophecy…

Midnight and noon mark the times of the day when the seven planes of existence are the closest and therefore the boundaries are the weakest. Many report seeing strange things, monsters, ghosts, things that modern science cannot explain at these times. It is also the time when the Mist which keeps the mortals from viewing the Immortals is the weakest. On June 6th the barrier was broken by an evil that as of yet had been unknown. With Chronos defeated everyone thought that that would be the end, however darkness stirs and never ending night shall happen if Erebus and Nyx succeed. The two have escaped Tartarus and are out to wreak havoc upon the mortal and immortal world by tearing down the Mist and ruling both worlds at once.

On such an occasion as one would usually call for the aid of the great Hero Percy Jackson; Unfortunately for the world he died years before along with his beloved Annabeth. Now with eternal darkness looming across the world and all of it's inhabitants both magical and not, the world must turn to a new generation of Heroes who are hopefully up to the task. With the Mist destroyed and the humans able to see they to shall join the fray as it is their world that is in danger as well. For while guns may not have an effect a traditional weapon in the hands of the right person may be as lethal as a Demi-God.

Now is the time to choose, do you call the events that are happening magic or truth?

The world hangs in the balance.

We lie on the brink of death and destruction.

All must answer the call.

Rules

* NO Machine-Gun Posting - The only time this is allowed is with permission if the thread is dieing and there are a few people keeping it alive.

* NO God-Modding - This is not open for negotiation, if you feel you had a good reason the state it but be warned that it might not be accepted.

* NO Power Playing - Unless there is the permission to do so from the character's owner.

* Romance - Is fine just keep it PG-13

* Language - Any words excluding any word related to 'F***', will be tolerated, unless however that privilege is abused. This does not mean be vulgar, keep it PG-13

* No Flaming - This really shouldn't need an explanation you know what not to do.

* Font Stuff - Be courteous to others, keep your font size and color to something readable. Bear in mind that not everyone uses the default background so using black can be difficult for those that use TrenZ or the like. Same goes for those with the dark backgrounds that use white.

* Post Size - At least one paragraph per post, this isn't difficult if you are actually making an effort. Be more descriptive. If you post a bunch of 1-2 liners you WILL be booted.

* Gods - I don't care if you pick the God of Foolish Acts you do your research, because we will and if your template is not coherent with the info then it will be rejected. So this means that you actually have to look things up and make an effort.

Short history: Zeke's mother died as she gave birth to him, Not due to his birth but because a cyclops killed her as she left the hospital, Zeke only lived because he managed to stab the monster with a Celestial Bronze dagger he took from his mothers pocket, she knew the dangers of having a half-blood as a child. Zeke's father Apollo sent him to camp half blood and he has lived there his whole life. Zeke is now the Head Boy in his House.
Personality: Zeke is a nice kid who really just wants to be on everyone's good side. He has a great sense of humor and has a deep love for all of his friends

Short history:
Unlike most Demigods, Shallum learned of his 'bloodlines' at an early age[06]. His mother was an unkind person that didn't care for pretty much anything, she just let the whole thing out about how he was conceived on the same night she met Hades. And how he left the next day, she said he was on "vacation," from his wife that occurred every year: "He was drunk, that's 'bout it"
His mothers neglectful nature eventually led Shallum to run away. The only people that would believe him were the one he could see through the mist. After many strange conversations with many strange people he arrived at Camp Half Blood.

Personality:
After his mothers negligence the only thing left within him was a shell of anger and clinical depression. Though if you pay attention to him long enough he would eventually pass a glimpse of what he is really like.

Jozi read my last post, the one where I say that the pot isn't up yet and to not put up temps until it is. The bios will be dependent upon the plot because you guys will need to know what is happening. You will have to edit the bio accordingly which is why I told people not to post them just yet.

I've only read Lightning Theif so far, but I loved it. A lot. Like, really.
SO I DECIDED to join your RP. Only it seems there are many children of the god I was intending to have as a parent, so it seems I have some re-planning to do for my bio. Aswell as needing to know the actual plot, that is.

The plot is coming don't worry I'm just fixing a few kinks and writing it out.
Also though just a warning, this RP will take place after The Last Olympian so there will be spoilers. If you don't mind then join but if you do mind then you should take that into consideration.
