What about defaults custom where You design a 3 dimensional representation of some object or whatever. This would be an example:


No stocks or renders, just the program and maybe something to reference things.

It's done in GIMP, just using pen tool for shapes, gradient tooling, bump map, text, fill tool, and some 1 pixel brushing. Used a tutorial for it and am quite pleased with the result.

^ Damn you did that without Cinema4D, I thought thats what program you used to make it. Thats pretty damn good.

And how many people on this forum would actually be able to do that? I would love to have a pen tool or a tag sized digipaint sotw but it won't happen, because there is about 20 people here that would be able to do such thing (as far as I know) and most of them don't even care about the sotw >:

I am starting to get sick of seeing that same signature, especially since there was one shortly after that never had an outcome! Anyway... Maybe someone else should organize the SotW instead, cos nothings happened for so long...

Gah.. Sometimes I wish I hadn't given up my powers just for reasons like this.. I was pretty much the only one to ever actually sort all the way through this kind of shit.

Look guys, it's simple. Seeing as I was the one who wrote this up for BB, and the one who cleaned this page, yada yada- let's do this. Scratch what you see on the first page. Most of those ideas are clearly extremely general and you know what? Screw it. What theme do you want to do? Just pick any theme you wanna live up again. God, the themes are getting so stretched it's not even fun anymore. I would suggest that like in the old days, we go by popular demand on what the theme is.

(But please- have some dignity and don't go FF, KH or Anime crazy..)

Just follow these simple guidelines from this post forward and I'll try and help get this section back in gear. It's pretty pathetic where it stands at the moment, even if the moderators have lives out here. I see 'em posting. That's why there's more than one, so that in the absence another moderator can cover, and that's why there's a supermod, so he can deal with it if there are no mods, and that's why there's an admin, if even THEY cannot complete the desired tasks. And if the admin isn't around- what the hell is up with your forum? ..Just saying guys. A little bit of common sense and dignity wouldn't kill ya, for any of those mods that even visit here anymore. Sad, I tell ya.

But yeah, do this, fellas. I'll bring it up to the mods where they'll have to see it, even if you can't. ;] It's simple, I promise.

We have 3 mods for the Graphics section and only one of them is actually doing something, so what do you expect? We should either get more mods to keep this section alive and sorted or make the current ones do the responsibilities they have accepted better...
