My theme suggestions:

1) Renaissance paintings (or just fine art in general)
2) You're favourite food
3) Set Colour scheme -only set colours can be used
4) Little Girls / Lolita
5) LGBT
6) Fashion Trends -Like trendy kids or street fashion shit like that
7) Bottles -Wine or perfume, it has potential
8) Types of flowers
9) Animals
10) Men
11) Actors/actresses
12) Interpretation -A word or phrase is given, artists have the freedom choose what to do with it.

Some of these have been done yet others have not.
I'll think of more in later posts.

I think we should go for something a little more conceptual, and not so much limited to one subject.

Example, there's a poster contest I'm planning on entering and the theme is simply make something that communicates the theme "Life is better with art in it"

just something that will make us think outside the box

Okay, so taking all you've said into account, i've thought of one. "Light" take that as you please, play with the lighting in your tag, use Light from death note, create something to do with phrases like "Light as a feather."
