So, just to let you all now, this new dec template is still a WIP, so it most likely will change. Its to much like the original right now.

[Victor Edit] Please keep in mind the practicality of it being an actual CD cover. Not just what looks fancy, thanks.

I decided to vote on what looks best album cover-wise.

1: Great idea. I love that it's only text.
8: I like the look of the text. It seems the most appealing part to me.
5: While I don't like the text says SOTW, I DO like the graffiti look.

8. Looks like the most genuine cd cover, to me.

4. I like how it maintains a theme throughout and not just random effects thrown on.

8. covers aren't random shit plopped on. this has the correct aesthetics and feeling cd covers should have, compared to almost all the other ones.
6. if the text was different, i could see this as a legitimate cd cover.

4. Albeit not the best artistically speaking, this one and (1) are the only two (other than mine) that don't fucking say "SOTW" on it. You are designing an album cover for a competition called SOTW; be creative and either make a band up or use an already existing name. Anyway, of this and (1), this one was much better. Red lines could use some improvement.
1. Ferret, not "SOTW". Ok great. Other than that, it's also not bad looking. Could use more creativity on the visual side, but it's something I could imagine from an amateur techno group or something.
7. Besides the "SOTW" text I really enjoyed the colours in this one. Although it took me fucking forever to actually make out the typography, the rest of it is pretty nice. Probably would have been at the top of this had the band name been more original.

Also, what the fuck is with all the "Parental Advisory" bullshit? It's not going to make your album cover any cooler, holy shit. You guys are real fucking creative.

Shit I forgot the enter and I actually did something for once. Oh well..

8- Looks the most like an album cover to me.
1- This one also has a great authentic album cover look to it.
4- I like it but the red lines really distract me sadly, if done a bit better though it would look nicer imo.

Dunno why but this makes me considerably happy, coming from you. And yeah I agree mine isn't the best artistically wise.

2 - I really like it. I don't like the text but everything else is spot on and attractive.
6 - Cool concept, not sure if the TV screens were put on, but if they were then awesome.
5 - I really don't know what to say, but I dig it.
