Rep Power: 10 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | BUT HOW I NOES I HAXXED? HOW I SPOSED TO NO? HEY I'm a link! <-- download this Excel Document Follow Instructions within. Rejoice. There have been a lot of talk about "Haxxed" stats lately, ever since the Clan Turf battle in Traverse Town. Glitched stats are something that effects PvP drastically, but no one really seems to know exactly how or why their stats can get glitched. Hopefully this thread can become a bit of a "How-To" in terms of how the stats become glitched, as well as how to unglitch them. W00t, this got stickied :D I AM NOW IMMORTAL >:O! Modifiers Often overlooked by new players who don't know where to find them, Modifiers are numbers attached to weapons and armors that influence your stats positively or negatively. For example, the basic Shortsword comes equipped with 1 extra point in strength. When you equip this weapon, your Strength stat will increase by 1 point without you adding AP onto the stat. Weapons and Armor will be your main source of stat increase/decrease, so be sure to Scan every new weapon to see its statistics and modifiers, and plan out how you want your character to function before dropping munny on a new weapon. How do I know if I'm glitched!? You know you are glitched if the amount of AP applied to your character exceeds the limit given depending on your character's level. At level 1 you will have 0 Skill Points and 0 Attribute Points to your name, and will have base stats of 5 across the board, 25 Health Points, and 5 Magic/Mana Points. These are what are called base stats. Even with 0 AP equipped to your stats, the value will always be greater than the base amount. The only way your stats will ever fall below the base stats is because of Negative Weapon Mods. Every AP you add to your HP will increase the respective stat by 5 points. Every point added to anything from Mana through Evade will increase that stat by one point. Allocating 10 AP to your strength will increase it by 10 points, whereas 10 AP on your HP will increase it by 50. This is important to know. Every level you will gain 1 SP and 1 AP. Your total amount of AP will be equal to one less your current level. At level 20, you should have exactly 19 AP. There have been cases of people having more or less than 19 AP, but if this is the case, simply tell a Moderator in the RPG and they can take care of it. It is usually glaringly obvious if someone has glitched stats. Usually it results in negative stats. Very negative stats. Glitched stats usually make it seem like you're equipping two of one item. You can add up your stats (divide health by five) and subtract 65 from it. If your result is not 1 less than your level, then you're glitched. (HP/5 + Mana + STR + DEF + MAG + SPR + SPD + DEX + EVA)- 45 - 20 = Level - 1 I failed. My stats are glitched. Now what? The way to remove any and all haxxing from your stats is to simply move a single AP off and on to your stats. Doing this will have the game recalculate it correctly and set you up. Just pay attention to about what your stats should be, and what they appear to be before and after the AP move. If that doesn't work, you may have to unequip and remove ALL AP from your character. Usually though, only moving one AP will fix you. The only sure-fire way to avoid the glitch is to adjust your stats before equipping anything. If you need to, you can figure it out on a piece of paper first. Once you know how much AP you want in whichever stat, add the AP to the stats. This is helpful as you gain more and more levels. Once all of your AP is set, equip your weapons. Be sure to heal if you increase or HP or MP, as the current amount will not increase if the maximum is changed. This way your stats will be true to your level, and current power. Or of course, simply remove a single AP from any stat and add it back. This should arrange your stats correctly. What's so bad about the glitch? Nothing is inherently "wrong" about the glitch, but it still is a glitch in the system. Glitched stats will not be tolerated in any sort of Clan Event at all. Anyone caught using Glitched stats will end up being disqualified. Making sure your stats are not glitched is a common courtesy owed to your fellow players if you are going to spar with them for fun. No one appreciates it when someone gloats about how powerful they are when their stats are that of a player much higher leveled than they currently are. Using glitched stats purposefully or not still will not impress many people, whether it is in PvP or not. In the end, using glitched stats won't be punished at all, but they will not be allowed in many tournaments, or any squad events. How does the glitch even happen? No one is completely sure how the glitch happens, or which stats it will effect, but there are many theories. For all of the theories, there are a few confirmed things about the mysterious glitch. 1. It is confirmed that the extra boosts to your stats is entirely based on your weapons and armor. If you are glitched, it means that one or more of your items are affecting your stats twice, as if you're equipping two of them at once. 2. Most people become glitched by adjusting AP while your equipment is on. Be sure to take everything off before adjusting stats if you don't want to become glitched, even if you're only moving one point. Why are people calling me a hacker because of my stats? Glitched stats go by many names on the Inferno, among them are the terms "Haxxed", "Hacked", and many variations of the same. If someone accuses you of being "Haxxed", they aren't insulting you, they are merely pointing out that you are glitched, and should correct it. Please do not get offended by this type of talk, as most of the time it's meant in a helpful manner, not an accusing one. Lastly, it is the PLAYER'S responsibility not to use Glitched Stats in friendly battles or Squad Events. There is no one else to blame for YOU having stats that aren't supposed to be as high or low as they are. I hope this lengthy post has been informative to anyone wondering about this glitch rampaging through the RPG. This thread now voids all excuses of "I didn't know I was glitched" as a defense for using these kinds of stats. This will be updated if there is any additional information needed or requested on the subject. Thank you for reading and playing the Inferno. ;D Have fun. Rep Power: 4 ![]() Level: EXP: | If you can increase a specific stat more then what its supposed to be and un-equipping items and moving AP doesn't change it back to normal, then is it still considered glitched? I'm not going to talk about the thing I did as not to give people ideas. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | If your total AP (not counting equip mods) is greater than the amount you're supposed to have at your current level, you are glitched. |

| †The Jack of all Trades† | hm... i have a question... To any RPG mods reading this, would you feel it reasonable to punish people who get the glitched stats and use them to get through chapter 2 easily? It seems kind of unfair that the ones who play legitimately might get beaten at certain points because someone gets glitched to get through that part. It would be very unfair if people glitched themselves at lets say level 70 to beat the chapter 2 boss and thus fought him/her with stats that only a level 80 or 90 player could achieve. They can't even pretend that they don't know what the glitch is or that they indeed have it because this thread exists and the spreadsheet is available for download directly from here. They can easily check themselves before they go trudging off. Maybe this way you will get less people saying "Oh let me fix my haxxed stats before we fight." because people will normally have regular, legit stats. -Igshar |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() Level: 23 EXP: | Iggy thiefed all over you! but it's a good point regardless >.> The problem is, how would the mods be able to check and see who used the glitch and who didn't? I guess people like Satan and myself would be the stat police and screencap things >.> |

| †The Jack of all Trades† | *includes himself in that list* but yeah, a screencap of haxxed stats would warrant action if the mods agree to do it |

But I think that playing with haxxed stats would be the equivalent to getting powerleved with 30 wins. It's allowed, as it doesn't really break any rules, but is heavily scorned on. That's what I think, at the least. XP | |
