Please do not make groundbreaking changes without consulting this thread. This includes creating a new skin, or changing the side bar. These tasks are quite complicated, and if done incorrectly could cripple our beloved wikia.

I'd also propose each weapon/armor getting it's own page like on the WEWY wiki concerning threads. This is... kind of a big thing to undertake. I have a few ideas for how I'd like to see Squad pages done up as.

Currently I have no idea what to do with shops. What do you want to do with the sidebar exactly? D:

The problem with the picture is that the Inferno lacks a good symbol... See, the ffwikia uses a chocobo, the KH wikia likes to be schizophrenic and change the entire layout with each new game that comes out... >_> twewy has that skull pin thinger.

KHInferno lacks a defining feature. :\

I'd say we could use Keyblades or something, but that'd be boring. D:


Maybe like a super spiffy image rendering of the Kingdom Chain :o That's be cool.

That's pretty true. I don't really know what to do about it. I suppose what we have will do for now :\ Should think about it every so often and see if anything comes to mind.

For Squads, I wanted the wiki pages to not be a carbon copy of the threads made here, because where's the point in that?

I think that the squad pages should have the active list of members, the Squad history, personal/Infernowide achievements, if any, as well as the cumulative squad points/repute/etc done. It's okay if most of them end up being a bit empty, because as the Inferno grows so too will the history of the Squad and its members. Maybe a section for former members. I'd also like the Disbanded Squads to be changed up a bit. Maybe just a History, Ex-Members, why the squad died, when it died, etc.

Anyway, yeah, the Squad pages probably need a bit of retooling, methinks. :\

Also, I really love the Heartless template Rae slaved to make. I saw how the Ch 2 tab works and it's beautiful. o-o I'm excited to make Heartless pages ~.~ If I'm bored tomorrow I'm totally gonna make some more of them. They're fun to write.

Also, the idea of individual weapon pages could be pretty cool.

Wrote up a few Heartless pages and changed the intro paragraph to nearly every Heartless made thus far. Now they're more interesting :P

My next objective will most likely be fixing up the Arts/Sleight Lists and trying to figure out something to do with Shops.

I had an idea of adding an enemy arts category. I mean.. for heartless pages it's going to show the spell anyway, so why not have a section for it in arts? There's plenty of spells to put in there. From Death Cutter to Piercing Tide really. Idk. Just bringing up a thought to you guys. .-.

Well we have a heartless list and a bestiary, which seems a tad redundant. Couldn't we just add a rank column to those nifty tables and make the names/sprites link to the specific pages? I dunno. I mean, I see the usefulness of the separate pages, but a part of me wants to consolidate them. :<

Oh, and it'd be nice if you guys could mention what pages you change/add, so I don't have to go sifting through the changelog.

Bestiary shows all heartless stats per area, where as the Heartless list really only shows which ones go to which ranking. Plus if/when different sorts of enemies appear, they'll get their own list like the Heartless do.

The names/sprite linkage flat out doesn't work. I tried it and Ig tried it. It doesn't look nice. You could do the Heartless list into a Bestiary, but the idea is not to break them down by Ranking in the Bestiary, and just say these enemies are in this area, these enemies are here. Granted the World pages have a smaller version of that, but the Bestiary is like one in Dawn of Souls, where you can just see the enemy stats at an overall glance. I would personally find that a lot more useful. Plus I think it'd be nice to see all of the different heartless just in name form to get a scope of how many there are. That's why there are two pages. Different functions.

He's got a point. The purpose of a bestiary, any bestiary, is to show where the mobs are located, and which ones there are. As such, it does need to be separate from a rankings list.True, the Heartless List may need to be cleaned up a bit, but something serving a similar function of both classification and easy linking does need to be present.

And for ideas about the sidebar, wouldn't it be a bit more functional to have the Locations->Waltier menu expand into each world, or is that just silly? And the Enemies menu, unless we're going to have enemies other than heartless, it might need to be renamed. It might need it regardless, say to have it as part of the Inferno Database Category and just have the Bestiary as its own main selection.

Just some random stuff. And we probably will need a new skin eventually. Maybe find the most prevalent style for the forum skin and adapt it to the wiki?

We can use the color scheme for the hopefully eventual Inferno skin. I know the basic colors if we wish to use it for the skin.

Heartless list can be cleaned up and changed around since the drop down menu i suppose functions the same basic way. Truth be told I was aiming for something like:

I suppose I could merge the List into the Heartless main page. That would make sense. Functional? Probably not. If you fellows want to, that's cool, but there's gonna be a lot more areas of Waltier added in Chapter 2, so that pull out list can get bigger (10+) which would looks kinda weird I think. We can give it a go.

There will be enemies other than Heartless, otherwise there wouldn't be a "Heartless" section, it would have stayed Bestiary.

No, no, you misunderstand, good sir. I am a proponent of keeping them separate. Lemme clean up my original idea. We could remove the Bestiary from the enemies section and put it under the database links, and keep the Heartless link under Enemies. They need to be separate: different purpose, different rules, different information. This idea would only be for the purpose of the sidebar menu. The pages themselves are perfectly fine as is. For now, at least.

Ah, I gotcha, Luna. That makes sense to me.

In any event, I have class soon, but I made an equipment template. Have not tested it. If someone wishes to, just make a page like Shortsword and use the {{Equipment}} call up.

uhhhh Template is at Template:Equipment - KHInsider RPG Inferno Wiki if you want to play around/look at it. I want to eventually be able to find a way to use this as a way to create equipment pages and use them as lookups for EASY shop creation. Eventually I want you to be able to type in {{shortsword}} and all of the shortsword information instantly fills the table. Example -> WEWY Wiki Thread Pages/Lists.

Just for reference for any test or temporary pages, create them with the name immediately preceded with Project: in order to make it a test page that is not permanently associated. For example, creating a page with the Title of Project:Shortsword nets this: KHInsider RPG Inferno Wiki:Shortsword. That way we can test how it works before we implement it. Also, this might be a better way to have people create the Character pages. Just a thought.

Project pages are pretty useful, yeah. I think I used that once but I forget whatfor.... :\ hmm.. Oh yeah, Featured Articles is a project page. In any event:
