If you haven't been checking the Event Center NPC in the Inferno then you're either

A. Not up to the area which houses it or
B. Dumb

Anyway this is a thread made to discuss this wonderful star studded event. A brief run down:

What the hell is a Squad Hunt?

You know how you beat up on weak enemies over and over and harvest their spoils? Yeah it's like that. Except it's a competition against other likeminded fellows.

How I sign up?

Well first you need to be in a squad. If that works, then strategize with your Squadmates and find out who's gonna be participatin'.

When is it?

Boy, listen up, it's this Saturday primarily. The times that are being treated as "default" times are listed in the Event Center NPC. Yeah, I don't feel like copy pasting. Go there and save me the effort. Squads can request special time slots so that you and your friends can giggle and slay heartless together without wasting any time.

How many peeps, yo?

Listen up. Squads can have anywhere from 3-5 members participating. Exception is VFD, because i think k77k is a pretty cool guy. eh maeks cool squads and doesn't afraid of anything. Also cause they should earn points too in order to make them a more appealing squad for people to join.

But yeah, the rest of you. 3-5 members. That means you can also have four members. You can not have six members. Ksry. Draw straws if you must. You may select one member to sub in/out. It can only be that person and yes, someone will be checking on you guys to make sure everything's fair.

Whatever number you PM to me is the maximum amount of people from your squad allowed in your area at any time. You may visit other squad areas to mock their pitiful skills or to simply spam them with "HEY BATTER BATTER HEY BATTER BATTER HEY BATTER BATTER SWING!" but you'll likely just be lol'd out of the area.

Basically if you sub someone out they must leave the area. Forever. Or until you decide to sub them back in. Very simple, right? Keep your members fresh and all this.

WHat I win!?

Well the winning squad wins repute and squad points. Every other squad wins the same stuff but the winning squad gets the most. That's how we roll. In addition there might be additional awards given out, so work your butts off.

How long it last?

Five grueling hours of endurance and clicking. ARE YOU MAN/NOT MAN ENOUGH? We shall see.

How I mine for compo nets?

You aren't allowed to posess any nets outside of your own squad's. If you do, you might be DQ'd from the tournament. No, you don't get a Blizzard if you get DQ'd. You must sit in the car and watch the others enjoy their frosty treats. Yes, D, you can has treat as well. Basically don't cheat and we won't have to make you regret you ever signed up for this wonderful festival of hunting.

Well, basically you can walk into the other rooms, but if you try to walk out the screen will get all wavy and the music'll go
DOLOLOLOLODODOLDODLDODLDODLODLDOLDO and then BAM random encounter. To avoid this, you should enter a room, laugh at those who occupy it, and map travel out. That or leave, pwn, and toss the net before I see you and get all displeased and such. I'd suggest the former<3

It is not Halloween or Easter time, mere mortal. How would you find candy? Growing on trees? Unlikely.

Sandy treats are not pleasing and frankly you've all been walking through deserts far too much these days. They will be components UNLIKE ANY EVER SEEN.

Either A) u didnt understood my question or i didnt express myself properly or B) u didnt care wot i said u just felt like quoting a large an random amount of post.
I know very well u are allowed to substitute some1 in the middle of the event, but how many times can we swap members? And if we substitute a person, can we substitute the person who was out for a person that wasnt originally meant to be substituted? Would it be more accureate to say i can bring 6 people to the event, but i can only have 5 participating in the same time?

more like 5 allowed in the hunting grounds and the substitute sits out unless called upon. then you switch them only 5 allowed in the grounds assuming your putting in 5 ppl if only 4 then 4 allowed 5th sits out.

Basically if you guys PM'd me 5 names and a sub, only those 6 will be allowed to play. No items on any other members of your squad or you're running the risk of being DQ'd. That being said, you may sub anyone in and out as often as you like provided that it's only between those members whose names have been PM'd to me. I thought Igshar made it clear with the quote, but just in case this is the official ruling.

Also 6 of the 7 Squads have signed up for this event. Thanks everyone. You all better show up.

That being said, I had something come up today and MIGHT miss the schedueled default start time by a few minutes. I'd like to tentatively move it back one half hour from start and end time. Basically instead of 2 EST

It'll be 2.30 EST. This is just so that I can actually start it closer to being on time. Those who have PM"d me I think you're all good with the times so far. If not, I'll discuss with you individually. If you don't hear from me, you're clear to go.
