All right. Since people can't seem to stop asking about Chapter Two, I've decided to make a small little F.A.Q. for those that wish to know more about it as a whole. Please note that this thread will not contain (For the most part) any spoilers. It is merely here to answer questions about Chapter Two as a whole. Mods, if you see something in here that shouldn't be, please notify me, or fix it yourself if you wish. Or if this entire thread is a spoiler, just delete it into nothingness.

What is Chapter Two?

Chapter two is the continuation of the RPG Inferno, starting from where it left off in the last chapter. Chapter Two will continue the story of the RPG Inferno, as you and many others search the land of Waltier and beyond, searching for the kidnapped King. It is more or less a squeal, or expansion, so you should think of it as much. Chapter two has been in development for a while now, and the RPG team has been slaving over it for the past little while.

When will Chapter Two be released?

10/7/07 at 2:00 p.m. EST.

What can we expect from Chapter Two?

Chapter Two will introduce many new items, equipments, sleights, and components, crafting tools, magic’s. It will add heavily onto the game play of the first chapter, by offering more options to choose from in the first one.

Chapter Two shall feature many weapon options. There will be more then one of each weapon type for sale, as well as at least one of each type. This will give you more options compared to Chapter One, where the selection was rather limited. This will allow you to better customize yourself to suit your needs, and most of the weapons should be more balanced out, so you won't have to limit yourself to the one weapon that boosts the best stats. You should also expect for every weapon type to have at least one accompanied by a sleight, to add further to the options available to you. You should also expect the same treatment towards Non-Weapon Equips as well.

Keyblades will not be available for sale in Chapter Two. They will only be able to be attained through main quests, or side quests.

There will also be several pets to choose from, instead of just having one pet. Other players in the Inferno chose these pets. These include the Flan, Several types of Puppet Mage's, Phoenix Chick, Moomba, Cactuar, and Tonberry. Each one is better suited for a different area then the others, so there will be more strategy added onto, as you are only allowed one pet. All new pets will have one pet spell and one pet sleight upon purchase, with an addition spell or sleight possibly down the road. In addition, there will also be a spell and sleight purchasable for the tried and true chocobo. To learn which area's these pets are better suited for, please refer to this thread:

There are also rumours of a crafting tool being available for sale in Chapter Two. I cannot deny or confirm this rumour.

Some of you may have noticed that several new components have become selectable in the component craft menu. It is unknown whether or not these are Chapter Two items or not, but it appears that these items cannot be found in Chapter One. This would leave one to assume that they are in fact, Chapter Two related. You should also assume that new components would be introduced as it is released.

There will be, of course, new magic and abilities being introduced into the Inferno. These may include upgrades to already released spells, new spells altogether, a slight possibility of new forms of magic and abilities, and, (one would guess,) a new summon. I cannot tell you what magic’s will be introduced, but be advised that certain magic’s in Chapter One might be moved into a later location in Chapter Two.

Chapter Two will have a much deeper story then Chapter One did. This includes the RPG Inferno equivalent to Cut scenes. This will allow for a more Impressive experience, and allow us to better know the world of Waltier and beyond.

The enemies themselves will be much stronger and more numerous then Chapter One, to add a longer game time to the Inferno Itself. This will add onto the challenge of the game itself. Not only this, but Heartless will now give EXP based on level, so players will no longer have to resort to power levelling to get to higher levels. They will also have access to the same magic, as the player will.

There will also be a greater range of quests. Most NPC's in Chapter Two will offer a quest to the player, allowing access to items and equips of slightly more value then what will be offered for sale in the shops.
