That's all he has said about pets. It says nothing about pets not using their natural abilities, it merely states that players can use the pets from chapter two and that Heal is allowed. He didn't say what you said he said.

Yes, I checked every one of his posts.

EDIT: Also, he has yet to reply about whether or not the Jolly Hat will be allowed in the tourney. And, what about Candycorn Hats? Allowed or not?

Round one was never even finished. It was supposed to be a one day tourney which is impossible to complete here on KHI, especially with the incomplete planning it got.
