In the year 2017, the world is practically linked to the Internet. Weapons, phones, everything you can think of links to the Internet. But lets talk about this one certain thing that can change everyones life in an instant........... [The World R:2]. Yes, your famous, world wide online game that has sold over 12 million copies. But unlike it's predecessor, The World which sold over 20 million copies, was disliked by many old players since they cannot have their characters transferred to the new game due to the fire incident in 2015. The cause...... unknown. The World R:2 was spliced together with another game known as "King Crimson". New rules have been added especially the "PK" system. But ever since that was added, PK'ers have been running amok killing the newbie's. Other things like the Race system where you can choose your race between beast and humans. New classes has been added and new features were made.

Probably this is your first time logging in, maybe its not. Still, this is where you start your story. In this mysterious world where PK'ers run, beware of the most dangerous enigma "Tri-edge". The boy who takes on the shape of Legendary player Kite of the Azure flame. He wields tinw blades that have three blades on them and has an appearance of a stitched up character model that doesn't even exist in the game. It is said that players fall into a coma and never come back into the game. Those people are called the unreturners or lost ones. No one knows what the cause but they know when to run. If you ever see a strange sign don't touch it. Of course there is a saying that everyone or some people say.

The World R:2 Servers:
.Delta- Mac Anu In The World R:2 Mac Anu returns as the Root Town of Delta Server, though it is now a much larger city than it was before. Many @HOMEs are located here, as well as many Lost Grounds.

.Omega- Lumina Cloth houses the Arena and the @HOME of Icolo, a guild consisting of the Arena champions, or Emperors. Having no fields, the only PKing that can occur in Lumina Cloth is in the Arena. Since it houses the Arena, Lumina Cloth is frequented by players of all levels, and is an ideal place to obtain rare items through trade.
-Omega- ArenaThere are three Arena circuits by level, called Palaces. In the Japanese version, the name of each Palace was preceded by Crimson, Cobalt, and Dragon respectively, seemingly referring to the Epitaph of the Twilight. Some guilds exist soley for Arena competition.

Lost Grounds:

.Arche Koeln Falls (アルケ・ケルン大瀑布) is a field located at Δ Hidden Forbidden Waterfall. It is one of the Lost Grounds and its name means "The Land of Origins".

.Dead World of Indieglut Lugh or Dead World of Eldi Lugh (死世所 エルディ・ルー) is a field located at Δ Hidden Forbidden Forest of the Dead. It is one of the Lost Grounds, and contains the "Tree of Light" mentioned in the Epitaph of the Twilight.

.Hulle Granz Cathedral or Grima Raef Cathedral (グリーマ・レーヴ大聖堂) is a field located at Δ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. It is one of the Lost Grounds, and functioned as a Root Town in Fragment, the beta version of The World. Hulle Granz is a unique field, in that it consists only of a small island with a large cathedral in the center located in a lake of mist. The area's Fragment keyword was "Navel of Lake", and it is said to be an important place from the Epitaph of Twilight.

.Keel Mountains of Briona Gideon (竜骨山脈　ブリューナ・ギデオン) is a Lost Ground located at Θ Hidden Forbidden Keel Mountains.

.Morrigu Barrow Wall (モーリー・バロウ城砦) is a field located at Δ Hidden Forbidden Bulwark. It is one of the Lost Grounds.

Becoming a Guildmaster
The quest to become a guildmaster begins with the creation of an @Home and a Grunty. The prospective guildmaster then must undertake a quest from the grunty. Haseo's quest was to explore Mac Anu and recover the three Grunty Regalia, and then to sell an item in his guild's shop.

Guild Rank
Guild Rank is a measure of a guild's status in The World. All Guildmasters are tracked by their Grunties via Ryu Books. The lowest level they've obtained in any category in the Ryu Books becomes their guild's rank. It is also possible that having an incredibly large number of players in one's guild will icrrease guild rank automatically, though this is unclear. A guild's rank determines its @Home's capabilities, such as increased warehouse capacity and connectivity to Platforms, and guilds with high ranks are recognized by CC Corp and given a field @Home.

Appearance: Kai has a black vest on, which somewhat shows his stomach. He wears long grey pants which fall down to his feet, where his black and white "shoes" are located. He has a black tattoo below his left eye, which stretches down, left, and down a bit more, which ends in the middle of his cheek. The tattoo below his right eye is blue, and it looks about the same, only it turns right instead of left, and is shorter. He has piercing blue eyes, and spikey black hair. He has two handguns at his side, both with blades floating below the end of the barrel.

Personality: Kai has a bubbly personality; he is generally a happy person, quite talkative, and cheerful.

Guild: (Will Be In Someone's Guild)

Bio: When Kai first logged into The World, he met a friendly player by the name of Hayabusa. Hayabusa took Kai on an adventure in a dungeon, but they were followed, and had been PKed by a player named Siegus, naming himself "The Asperser (Foe) Of God". Kai was PKed effortlessly, along with Hayabusa.

Ever since, Kai has been trying to track down Siegus, but he has all but vanished. Kai became a PKKer, nicknamed "The Manifest Of Oblivion", for he always seems to come from nowhere, and defeat PKers easily. Kai has had no leads on Siegus for quite a while.

personality:care free and never holds a grudge unless someone disturbs his exploration. He will relentlessly hunt the person down until he PKK's them. He only will do that with PK'ers. He tends to be relaxed and reserved for most of the time. He hates stuck up, arrogant, spoiled kids.

bio: Kataki's real name is actually Matsuri in real life. In reality, he is just a boy who loves video games and great adventures around it. He used to play the old version of The World but ever since the fire, he never played the game. Life has never been the same until The World R:2 came out. He instantly bought it on it's opening day (his family is semi-rich because his Dad and mom are workers in CC Corp).
Once he installed it and realease his character, a parasite called DG infected and increased the data parameters of it and surpassing the jobs selection causing his character's class to be dual gunner. Before it was a Adept Rogue with the classes steam gunner and twin blade but it seems like he got a hybrid version of it. Ever since that day, he played as that character and never changed. He is currently looking for some friends to play with and enter the tournament. He still retains the Adept Rogue functions.

Personality- Cool and calculated, this woman takes pride in beauty and intelligence. Never rushing to conclusions, she thinks things through carefully before addressing a situation. She is easily annoyed by those who are ignorant, and can be set off by people who claim to be better than she.

Guild- She is currently not in a guild.

Appearance- Her avatar stands at about 5'8, with fairly tan skin. She has long, midnight blue hair that reaches down to about her shoulder blades. The eyes of her avatar are a bright yellow, with a distinct, stern look about them. She wears twin steel gauntlets, a light blue and white studded neck brace, and a single white shoulder pad on her left shoulder with two straps of leather that wrap around her other upper arm. For a top, she wears a blue tube top that ties behind her back in a knot with arms that reach all the way down to her ankles. From her waist down, she dons white leggings, a blue peasant skirt with yellow designs on it, and black slippers. Her fans are tucked behind her waist.

History- An executive graphic's designer for The World R:2, and a high-placed employee at CC Corp. Her real name is Kaede Seikuu. After she left her small video-game programming company at 21 to join CC Corp, she was given a position in the Anti-AIDA Project, an operation to exterminate data anomalies in The World that threaten the perimeters and structure of the game. She was given her avatar pre-made, as it had to be fixated with the data from a small sample of AIDA to give her the ability to withstand their advances. When she first logged in, she was confronted by a strange player named simply Anna, and after the encounter, her character data was infected by a strange virus that will occasionally cause the markings on her avatar to pulsate whenever an AIDA is near.

She harbors a strange resentment towards CC Corp for forcing her into the Anti-AIDA Project, but does not show it straight foward. When she isn't busy with an assignment, she usually goes on quests with an introverted Shadow Warlock named S.P., whom she is seemingly good friends with. Once a member of the exclusive PKK Guild, Epitaph0, she has been playing the game for a full year now, and it was in her second month that she was admitted to hunting down AIDA. She says to most who inquire her about it that she 'is never truley able enjoy The World', now that she is part of CC Corp. Recently, she conquered the Demon Palace Arena and became the new Emperor.

He became admin at the age of thirteen.The other admins thought that his cockyness would get in the way of his judgement,but he proved them wrong.He went on daily patrols on his grunty,looking for rouge programs or AIDA's,and making sure players follow the rules.Two years have passed,and Arox is as good as ever.He is happy most of the time,and is glad that the player ban ratio is now 1-2 a year.He is still patrolling the servers,but feels something bad is happening,and it is going to come real soon.

The game finished loading as Matsuri logged on to his trusty player Kataki. A level 30 Adept Rogue that holds secrets that never go out. He placed on the FMD on his head and switched on the controls. Kataki entered The World once again.

In surrounding light, Kataki arrived infront of the Chaos Gate. Voices were buzzing as they were talking about guilds and the occasional "Master En" which got on Kataki's nerves, "Jeez, I wonder how many fans are out their for Endrance. He walked to the save kiosk and stood their watching players walk in ands out to dungeons and battlegrounds. At a moment, he saw a player in black and red armor. He recognized him, and quickly remembered his name; Haseo, The terror of death. Kataki stared at the level 133 PKK'er as he walked out of the Chaos gate room and into the city of Mac Anu. He was surprised to see him here since Haseo is usually out PKK'ing PK'ers, "Wonder whats up with him. Soon, Kataki headed out of the chaos gate room and out to the City.

As he walked out, Haseo pushed through him to get to the Chaos gate. He looked back strangely and walked on towards Central of Mac Anu only to see some Moon Tree members standing there, a bit dumbstruck at what happend, "Eh, Moon Tree members are advertising today. Better avoid them. Especially Sakaki." He walked on and passed a white dressed, harvest cleric noob. He ignored her and headed towards the quest counter in the corner of the central district.

Tensei quickly checked her PM boxes. No new messages.

'Man I've got to clean out this inbox sooner or later.' thought Tensei

Tensei sighed.

"Ah, oh well. I'm gonna go see if the shop keeper has any new weapons yet."

Kaede slowly awoke, immediatly finding herself in a struggle to break free of the tangle of sheets she was stuck in. At the edge of her small futon, her milky white cat sat grooming itself gently, occasionally giving her a curious glance, and then returning to it's buisness. She pulled herself free, and then sat up, rubbing crusty sleep from her eyes. After her vision returned to her, she scanned the area around her.

It was a small, insolated bedroom with a futon pushed up against the wall to the right, an oriental rug layed out on the floor, a large one-panel window to the left with the curtains drawn, an air vent overhead, and a desk beside the window that had a computer monitor and terminal seated upon it. Yep, she was still in her apartment.

"Jesu....what time is it?"

She pushed herself up off the futon and yawned lazily, then moved to the lamp table beside her. She pushed away the two empty beer bottles that blocked her view of the alarm clock seated beside the one lamp in her apartment. 11:42. She swore underneath her breath. She was late. Drastically late. Massaging a temple with one hand, she sighed. It was too late to call in sick, she told herself. I guess there's no point in going to work either. Pushing her way through the cramped bedroom, she sat down in front of her computer and logged into the only thing close enough to a refuge from the pains of the real world she had. The World R:2.

Matsuri's avatar Kataki stood there while he clicked and checked to see if there are any good quests for the day. As he took his time, his avatar became impatient and started to cross him arms starring at the quest Vista for a while. Finally, done checking quests, Kataki was back in control of his movement, "No quest today. Great, all the quests require party members. I guess I'll just head to Lumina Cloth Server." Kataki walked until his mind changed and turned around to head towards the Mercenary district. He planned in his focused mind what to do when he got there. The forever twilight sun lit the alleys of Mac anu and glimmered on the ebb and flow of the water as kataki walked. The graphics for the game was always great and felt more and more realistic. Of course, it is the year 2017, where technology runs everything. Kataki neared the bridge and spotted a wierd looking creature NCP that was looking at the river. He approached and and initiated a conversation as it turned to talk to him. " I'm Mellow Rundy *Uru* The fishes in the river looks tasty *Uru*. I remember the story my grandmother told me about *uru*. It was about the fish kingdom *Uru*. I wonder if it's tasty down there *Uryuuu*." Pause. Silence. Kataki looked at the grunty with a strange, confused look. The grunty's eyes were drooping and looked tired. But, it still wondered about the fishes in the virtual river. He walked on trying to forget what just happened.

He finally reached the Mercenary district. Kataki walked to the edge of the district and was on the balcony. He heard a strange scruffy chuckle behind him. It was another grunty, only this time, it had a wierd look. This time, Kataki ignored it and went to the @home door and looked at it. The Vital Vista Gatekeeper looked at Kataki waiting for a conversation to be activated. Instead, he walked away from the door and went towards the warp point to warp to the Harbor.

Tensei scrolled down the weapons menu. The only new items so far were for Macabre Dancers only. Then, she just realized that she was looking in the Macabre Dancers section ^^;. She switched over to the Twin Blades section. No new items so far.

Tensei closed out of the item menu section and walked away from the shop. She walked to the bridge and sat on the edge watching the AI fish swim by. She sighed and simply started to day dream.
