Default The Fog of Dark Light: Esscence of Mortality (rp)

It’s funny you know......how tightly people cling to their lives and their existence. Try to tell a man that he is going to die, or that his entire existence, if even real, is nothing better than monotonous and obsolete. I can assure you the reaction will not be savored. It’s as if all happiness lies in knowing they’re important. They all know the truth, but it’s unheard of to speak this infinite truth, although it’s the only truth we can be sure is real. Yes, I’ll admit through my days that I have found it guiltily amusing to drag down the hopes of the living. Some who know me might say I do it out of spite, or others might claim it’s spawned from jealousy. Well, those who TRULY know me would say that ‘Heh, Makyu has always been that way. He spoke the truth no matter how brutal.’ I’d like to tell you 30 years of death have softened a cold heart, but then I’d be lying wouldn’t I?

I still remember back when I thought I was important. Back in the days when I just knew I’d live forever, and that it would be so great. I thought I was immortal, and that I’d be eternally happy because of it. But now......now I realize that living forever isn’t what I’ve cracked it up to be, or at least not the way I’m going about it. A half life, wandering the earth as a zombie, living off the souls of the dead that are suspended on the Earth, I couldn’t quite say it’s ALL bad, but I’m not altogether pleased either. Sorry, I’ve begun to ramble............

It’s true you know; reality CAN be cruel. Just as things start to get better, fate shovels shit into your face. It would seem like the entire world has turned its back on you. But they tell you to keep your upper lip stiff, and give them all the cold shoulders. Well for some people their lips have begun to rot, and their shoulders ice. Death is inevitable, and clinging to life as a babe to its mother will not do you any good when your time has come. This is the tale of both the living and the dead. Can they coexist? Is there something, anything; that makes the two relatable? Some would say it’s impossible, and others might call it unchristian or unethical to try to raise the dead, even worse to blend them into our ‘society.’ Some realize this more so than others, and others still realize it; only just a wee bit too late.

~ ~Forthcomings of Dark Light ~ ~
Sorry, but I think I’m just realizing those pessimists are right. Blending the dead into the world of the living is most definitely ‘bad’. It throws the balance of both light and chaos energy out of whack. Flooding the multiverse with death and devastation, draining the world around myself of natural spirits.......I’d sucked out the light....shedding way for a darkness even the prophets of the Farplane hadn’t been able to foresee. He lingers amongst us now; I can feel the dark energy overpowering the multiverse, its intoxicating. I don’t know who he is, what he is, or where this desecration of nature came from. All I know is his essence is pure evil, neither chaos nor light, just evil. Then again, I know two things. The fore stated fact, and the understanding that this beast is the creation of my misdoings and defiling of the natural order, so the charge is to me to eradicate him. But, the same problem still stands.........I can’t beat him alone.

The multiverse is in peril, simply put of course. A dark force, unnamed and unknown has cast it’s clutches into the energies of the omniverse, and threatens to not destroy all things living, but to undo existence itself. If this beast should triumph in its ‘quest’ so to speak, all things living, dead, or.....otherwise; would cease to exist. The omniverse would collapse and utter obliteration would consume eternity. Makyu has taken his charge under wing, but realizing he is not powerful enough himself, he will trek the galaxy to enlist the aid of warriors of such might that would aid him to eradicate this being. Lend your sword, lend your mind, and lend your heart. Elsewise, you’ll have none to spare.

A warm sunlight came pouring over the horizon as dawn broke. The blazing sun shone brightly in the pinkness of the morning sky, hanging it's recesses just behind the tree line. All alight, the morning seemed to be a symbol of hope, peace, and serenity. It shone with such glorious beauty, that any who had the splendor in their hearts to stop and soak in it's beauty would be instantly captivated. Sadly, for Makyu, this was not the case. Although he had all the time there was, there just so happened that there wasn't much time at all. Sleep was uneeded, since he was already dead. Hunger, sleep, sexual desire, and all other human psyiological and psychological desires and needs were distant and dead to him. All he had was his cold heart and distant emotions. His mission was clear, and his journey was set. The problem only lied in accomplsihment, something that had always alluded him till the last second. Then again, by now he was used to it.

He was a true outcast, half the omniverse didn't even know him to be among the living any longer. His story was well known, and his glorious ending was as such. Of course, he didnt dare go home, this was a place he was unwelcomed, and unwanted. He'd done what he needed and owed to them, he had no place there anymore. From death to his rebirth, he'd sanctioned himself in the Farplane, honing his skils and focusing his magic. Infinite fury now lay in his fingertips. He was not only dead, but his energy and life force was fueled by the spirits, which were almost infinite in number and power. He'd not tire out, nor would he give in. Since his rebirth into this world, his "living" as one might choose to deem it, had begun to take massive negative effects on the infinite space around him.

He needed aid, some chance to repent, and a shot at stopping this darkness for the last time. He was still unclear about this evil force; it remained unnamed, unidentified, and unchallenged. Makyu knew even with his power, this "negative force" as he had deemed it would only serve to shred him to pieces. He knew only so many whom could aid, only a few he could truly trust to fight with him on par with this monster. Hopefully, they'd receive his message. The messages remained short and to the point, but each got the message across, and he'd be sure to explain better for them in time.

He looked towards the sky now, the warmth of the sun enticing his dead flesh, hidden away under his cloak. He felt the warm life giving glow, and pulled away his hood to let the sun shine on his zombie-like face. Of course, he had made certain none were around to see. For he didn't take off his hood often, the simple sight of his cold dead face would haunt and traumatize these poor mortals for an eternity. Suddenly, a dark misty cloud swept over the sky, silhoutting the sun's warmth, and hiding it's beauty from the world. Makyu grimaced, his glowing red eyes flashing dim for a moment as he pulled his hood back on and turned away, walking out off the woods path and into the denser forest, where darkness was heavier and inevitable. This was his life, and that......

was his curse........

My friends, the entire omniverse stands on the brink of eternity, obliteration in it's wake. An evil force threatens to undo existence, and desicrate all reality. Even the gods and the Farplane will be undone. No manner of magic or ultimate existence will be able to erase this beast's workings. Please, I beckon you all, meet me on the far planet of Ecrimar. This planet is but a babe, fresh and untainted, it has seen no death, and no human corruption. I think it will be safe for us to convene. Once you're here, I'll pull you to our meeting point. Once again, I need your aid, I'll explain more later, time is running short, and you must hurry.........

A weary girl was walking through the sidewalks of The Edge in Midgar, one of the newly built areas since the Meteor attack. It was, so to say, a newer version of The Slums, it having been destroyed from the incident that hit the Planet those years ago.

Behind this girl, was an odd looking charecter, a black and white fuzzy cat sitting on top of- what it seemed to be- a huge pink Moogle plush brought to life. To everyone around, both the girl and the cat were quite known for various reasons. Keeping away any threats and causing trouble themselves, but surely not on purpose.

After several more miles of walking aimlessly around, a small beep coming from within her right pocket located on her apron-like half skirt.

"Na... Ni?", she said quietly, slowly stopping her movements as she listened the beep three more times. 'Messege...', she dug her gloved hand into the pocket and pulled out a black cellphone with silver plates on each side and a what looked like a cross between a tiger and a wolf, symbol on the front in silver as well. With a swift flick of her wrist, she revealed the outer-inside of the phone, looking straight at the small lit screen immediatly.

"Hrm?... Please I bekon you all, meet me on the far planet of Ecrimar. This planet is but a...", from then on she quieted down, taking very very slow steps forward as she continued reading the messege she recieved. After a minute of throughly reading it, she flipped her cellphone closed and pocketed it back. The girl turned around on one foot, facing the curious looking cat and Moogle with a smile on her face. "Well then, it looks like we're needed. Off to... To...", the girl went from joyful to forgetful in an instant, quickly taking the cellphone back into her hand and looking back at the messege, searching for the name she was looking for.

"Ecrimar!... What kind of na--? Nevermind. Road trip!", she shouted before running past the odd pair and straight toward Highwind Travel, Cid's new place in Midgar. She ran there with one thought in mind, 'Time to borrow a little ship.', this instantly brought a mischievous grin on her face. The girl's sad mood was now turned upside down at knowing she was heading off to some adventure or whatever it was. It wasn't the only reason she was going though. It seemed to her, whoever wrote sent her this must be needed some help... And possibly the help of others as well she guessed.

"Cait-Sith, hurry your kitty cat and Moogle butt over here!!", Raynie 'Lockedheart' Strife yelled out, making duo, known as Cait-Sith, jumped up in surprise and run off after the fast girl.

A flash sped throughout the lands like a bullet, speeding past everything in sight. Two figures, one seeming to run, the other chasing so to say. The figures kept going at this constant slow speed, yet in an instant, the one chasing bolted up next to the one in front of him. A weapon of some sort was then taking out, resembling a knife, or something like that, and aimed for destruction. The figure with the knife then slowed to a stop, letting the other get away.

In minutes a figure came in an instant behind the first one who stopped. The first one stood still, having the kunai, a special ninja knife in hand. All that was on his face was a smirk, since he could only laugh at the stupidity of the others in the world around him. The man behind him then spoke.

"You....you were trying to kill that ninja!" The man spoke, great anger in his tone. "Why have you killed so many!? Do you want me to finish-" Instantly the man stopped as a knife sliced off the top of his head, resulting in the first half of his head sliding down.

"I....play by my own rules." Nomartsu stated in his raspy voice. A killer to the core, yet he had helped others on some occasions, one time being a fight against the omniverse. Nomartsu the looked down, hearing a beep of some sort, and picked up his old tracer, and there was a message on it.

Nomartsu carefully scanned the note, taking everything into his mind. He grimaced as he finished it, and instantly sprung up and jolted to his old home. In seconds he walked in, and stared at a switch he had installed. Flipping it up, a wall went up, and Nomartsu went into the back room, a ship in front of him. He grimaced as he stood near it, and slowly entered near the ship.

"So...needing my help once more, Makyu? Well, from what it seemed, you've truly spotted something that would test my skills, and probably a few others." Nomartsu could only grin as he slowly entered the slim, yet speeding ship which he had gained on his last adventure of the omniverse.

It was a normal day, in the life of Mageon, as he traveled to the Omniverse through teleportation. Yes, he could teleport. What would he do without teleporting? The World Will Never Know.

The location of Mageon is unknown, after all, he loves to travel to Unknown worlds and find out what goes on in there, and if he can acquire new powers. He was actually obssessed with learning new abilities, since they are so interesting once they are acquired. Of course, acquiring abilities would have to mean storing powers for a long time, and then accumulate them when they are used.

"I wonder where I am, this place doesn't look half that bad, better than that place I had been at. That other place was a bloodfest, every minute, I felt the need to throw up, and let me tell you, that is not a good feeling, not at all. Well, I'll just observe around this place, and try to ACQUIRE powers. I love getting new powers, or weapons, or upgrades," said Mageon looking at his Reverse Blade Sword, and his Gold Death God Blade.

"I can't believe my former Gold Sword now has Death God powers, I mean the best I could do with the Gold Sword, without acquiring the Death God title, was a Typhoon Blast, or a Blue Blast, or a Gold Typhoon Blast, now I can actually swing, and that swing would have the power of a Typhoon Blast, without releasing anything. Imagine how it'd be when I'd send a Typhoon Blast out of this sword, it'd be twice as much as power as it used to have," said Mageon with a big goofy grin on his face.

Mageon, then sat down, in a nearby bench that he saw, and received a note, unexpectedly. He read it.

This is what the note read:

My friends, the entire omniverse stands on the brink of eternity, obliteration in it's wake. An evil force threatens to undo existence, and desicrate all reality. "Humanity...erased? We can't have that, after all, no humans means no life, and no life, means no people. I mean what kind of place would the Omniverse be without people or Unidentified Organisms?" asked Mageon to himself.

"I guess helping is the first thing on my mind, now time to go to the person who sent me this letter," said Mageon to himself with that same goofy grin.

Ukiah sat deep with the temple of Taryntecia, contemplating his recent battle with Valyon and a few even more insidious events that had occured recently. In only a few short years the Omniverse had undergone several massive upheavals. All of them facilitated in the interest of maintaining the balance of light and dark, good and evil, order and chaos. The latter terms held the most weight; Order and Chaos, the two most influential forces of the Omniverse. Chaos was a natural force of life, literally breaking up the monotony of existence and giving a guide of free will to the Omniverse at large. There were several misconceptions about chaos; though many were right to fear it, their reasons for such fear were flawed.

Order on the other hand was much less benevolent creature than people perceived it to be. Order was a kind of unnatural force of the Omniverse; a literal brother to chaos, it attempted impose a type of continuity upon the Omniverse. Combined with chaos the Omniverse as a whole stayed in a constant state of opposition, neither order, or chaos ever wholly able to exert control over existence. Unfortunately certain forces perceptions of Omniversal balance conflicted with the basic foundations of morality.

Drawing a small line in the brilliant blue energy web that had sprouted into life at his feet, Ukiah continued to weigh the options. Events were soon coming to a head and he knew a sacrifice would be required. But of what, and what significance would it have? Nigh-omnipotent beings of unmatched evil sprang into existance within years of each other, in each case the evil was defeated by a force of good, but not before spreading just a slight more darkness. Beings of such power rising to threaten the Omniverse had been seen since the beginning of time. But never in such a short span of time. The most logical conclusion was an unspoken benefactor, and Ukiah knew of only one force that had anything to gain from such actions.

The only question now was when to confront this force. The precariousness his situation made confrantation inevitable. He-

Makyu...Another Omniversal threat...It seemed Ukiah would have to put off direct confrantion yet again. With a quick movement he dismissed the blue energy web and rose to his feet. "It begins again," he said, drawing his white robes over his shoulders. With a quick flick of his eyes a portal to Ecrimar opened and he was gone.

Keil sat at the bar. The entire room smelled like cigarettes and stale pretzels, "Double Bastard." he said to the bartender. The beer bottle had made the sliding noise that it always made as it made it's way across the bar and into Keil's hand.

"That'll be $11.50." The tender said flirtatiously, she was actually pretty cute. But then again it was her job to flirt with the customers at the bar. Keil readed into his pocket and pulled out a tan wallet with the word "BAD MOTHERF*CKER" branded on it. He pulled out a twenty dollar bill, "Keep the change." He said flirting back and handing her the twenty. She then walked off to tend to the other customers.

Keil put his hand on the cap of the bottle and twisted it. It stung a slight bit. He wasn't bothered by it though. Bullets hurt far more than bottlecaps. He brought the nose of the bottle to his nose. The fruity aroma broke through the stagnant smell of cigarettes. He then began to drink the brew. It had a strong flavor, smooth, enjoyable.

He called over the bartender that had served him earlier.

"Another one?" she asked.

Keil shooks his head and held up the bottle as he said "No, I shouldn't have drank this one. I'm driving." He looked from left to right. "You won't tell right?" He asked her jokingly. Reaching into his pocket once again he pulled out his business card.

"Keil Gibson--Human Relations" In a way the job of an assassin was just that. "Give me a call sometime."

He then stood up fixed his collar and dusted off his burgundy sweater that he was wearing over it. He then put on his parka and walked towards the door.

"By the way, you speak excellent Japanese." The bartender shouted.

Keil turned around, "Thanks." He then turned back around and headed out the door and onto the rainy Osaka streets. He ran across the street and to his car. It was a BMW M6 dressed in a Hamann body kit and wheels. But the best part was what was under the hood. It was an engine the he had developed himself. 600 ponies 600 lb/ft of tourque and the best part, thirty miles to the gallon. THe emissions aren't bad either. If he wasn't making such big bank in death dealing then he would have been an engineer.

Keil then pulled out his keys and opened the door. He then got in and statred the car, then engine roared to life. He then turned on the radio, "Kick Push" was playing. New song by a new guy, Lupe Fiasco was the name. The song was different from most hip-hop that they played these days, not too heavy on the drums, and it was about skateboarding. That was a twist.

He then drove off and back to his home. After getting in his cell phone rang, he pulled it out of his pocket and looked at the number, it was blank, this puzzled Keil a bit. He flipped the phone open, "Hello?"

My friends, the entire omniverse stands on the brink of eternity, obliteration in it's wake. An evil force threatens to undo existence, and desicrate all reality. Keil sighed...he thought that he put all that Omniverse stuff behind him. "Why me?" He asked, he didn't expect an answer, but he obliged to the request anyway. It seemed pretty urgent. "Ah I'll go." A white light swirled around him adn like that he was gone. He was now on his way to Ecrimar.

A figure sat slumped in along the far end of a cell. Except for the light green florescent light at the end of the hall, it's entirety was cast in darkness. Slight movements would reveal the creature to be slowly wrapping a whitish gauze-like material over it's forearms. The flickering light cast it's glow diagonally over the cell, and only his legs were visible from the other side of the alloy bars. Wincing slightly as he covered a tender area, his thoughts harkened back to the day before...

From what he could remember, the first thing he noticed was a jarring and queasy motion in his stomach as the elevator rose upward. Fragments of light could be seen flashing through the cracks in the metal, and it slightly aggravate his eyes. Suddenly the ceiling above split as the floor ascended, his form rising through and appearing in a large pit. The deafening roar of spectators crammed into an arena became quite apparent. He hated it so, and his triangular and sensitive ears would ring slightly. The stench... It was hard to bare, with the drunken belches and the steam and smoke that circulated around like a morbid death cloud.

At the other end of the arena, the floor would split in two, procuring another form from the bowels under the pit. A man with serpentine features reared back and uttered some unholy mix of a hiss and a roar. He remembered it being at least two feet taller than him. Greenish-brown scales for skin, black claws, and a massive tail that swaggered behind it. The beast seemed to thrive off of the crazy audience, and struck a pose. Examining it's foe with a smirking snort, it leaned forward, as if it was a sprinter aiming it's body towards the human-like creature.

Then, loud and foreign music began to blast through speaker-like horns behind a set of displays that focused on their movements. It was at that moment, that the serpent man began to charge him. His sword wasn't on him, for reasons that the arenas wouldn't allow personal weapons in combat. His fists clenched as he braced himself, baring down on his knees slightly. As the lizard dove into a tackle, his legs pistoned, sending him ten feet into the air. No ordinary human would be capable of such a feat.

Downward he fell, planting his bare feet into the lizards back, plowing it down into the dirt. A small dust cloud rose around it. Below, he noticed it look back up to him with a smirk. Caught off-guard, he didn't notice the tail springing to the side and whipping forward, slugging him along the chin. In an instant, he was slammed down into the earth next to the creature... Face down, he twitched, trying to move. But, the lizards tail had coiled around his neck and lifted him off the ground as he rose. Hissing, the beast began to pummel his bare chest, as he wore nothing over it except for a pair of brown trousers and gauze that covered his arms only. Then, it's claws extended, proceeding to slash at his chest with fury. Screaming and grunting in pain, he flailed madly, managing to kick it where it hurts the most. Choking, the lizard flicked it's tail, sending him flying across the arena and landing in a sprawling heap.

Slowly, the lizard would advance, intent on slaughtering this foolish being. He struggled, trying to maintain his strength. On his hands and knees, he watched the incoming opponent. His heart would beat faster and faster, and it seemed as if it was the only thing he could hear now. Not the lizard's charging hiss, not the annoying spectators and the piercing and thumping music. The smell of his precious life blood seeping away... it fueled a rage. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion; and then, his heart rate would exceed the threshold, triggering the symbiotic virus that lurked within all of his kind.

His head fell down to the earth as he could feel his very body quaking and changing. His muscles expanded and his bones shifted. Dark brown hair spread from his cranium and covered the entirety of his body. Cream-colored fur covered his chest and a majority of his front. Shreds of his trousers would only remain, and the gauze on his arms only hung about his form loosely. Golden claws protruded from paws on four extremities. Sliding on it's heels, the lizard would stop in front of the wolf creature in front of him. Amassing more than itself, it backed up several steps. The wolf growled and rose, now standing several feet higher than the lizard.

Taking his time to pounce on the stunned opponent, the wolf began to beat and slash away at it's form, just like what had happened moments earlier. The audience gasped in horror as the wolf's frenzied strikes scooped and sent blackish blood spraying across their faces. They began to scramble from the arena, as several employees armed with special rifles filed in. It was forbidden to kill an opponent in the arena, and the lizard was now long past dead... However the wolf still beat away at it, leaning forward and crushing it's neck in it's frightening and saliva-covered jaws, blood oozing down.

As the heavily armed men took their positions, they fired onto the wolf, sedating it with highly potent tranquilizer. Slowly, but surely, it toppled over... finally giving in.

During that time... that time of darkness and sleep, he could make out voices. However, there was no telling what they were saying... It seemed like a foreign language.

And then, when he woke up, he found himself within a cell on a transport ship headed for a maximum level prison facility on a distant planet...
Hearing a door slide open, his strange eyes looked up towards a rather plump figure. It stopped in front of his cell and looked toward the man, jostling something in his right hand. The creature within the cell found it's scent repulsive, and would only stare back dully. The man held out something and shook it in his hand.

"Luks lyke 'cha got sumfin'."

It growled and snickered, prompting him to get up and wander to the bars. He reached out, trying to get the note, but the guard grabbed his arm and yanked him forward slamming his body against the bars. The man yelled out in agony, as he was brutally reminded of all the pain he had sustained in the previous day's fight.

"So... whuddre you gunna do fer it?"

The guard said, running his other hand up the man's arm and pressing his mouth against the man's face. The man's teeth and fangs gritted; the stench was driving him crazy. Pulsing his arm, his elbow twisted and slammed the guard's fat face into the bars. He reeled back and fell on his ass, coddling a broken nose in his hands.

"You sonvabish, I'm gunna make you regritt the dye you wur born!"

Sauntering down to the end of the hall, he fished around in a crate supplied to him. Retrieving a blaster rifle, he began walking back with a demented grin spreading across his mug. But before he could make it back to the cell, he was shot with a blaster rifle several times. His obese form twittered and danced before collapsing in a thunderous heap. Down the hall, several prisoners turned back after activating a mechanism that kept the cells sealed. The bars swung open and all the inmates scurried out in the jailbreak.

The man however, walked out slowly, holding his body. Kneeling down to the guard, he reached out and procured the small letter from his body. Then, he ran as fast as he was able down the hall.

The transport ship was in a frenzy of activity as inmates frantically made their way to the escape ships. Deciding not to waste any more additional time, he followed them all, searching for one to board. After what seemed like an eternity of searching, he pushed inside one, just as the metal door closed. The ground quaked at his feet, just as it began to take off. It sent him rolling and sprawling into the adjacent wall. Laying on the floor, his injuries burned and clawed away at his consciousness. Struggling to get up, he found his strength had been depleted... It seemed as if the sedatives had still not completely worn off. Submitting, he stopped moving, sinking into a deep sleep.

More voices this time, but he could vaguely make out the conversations...

"Poor kid, looks like he ain't even older than my own son..."

"Look at those wounds... he must have been an arena fighter..."

"So... what were you locked up for?"

"Eh... The government didn't really appreciate the underground media organization I
worked for."

Laughter...

"Damn... Kid is still zonked... Snores like a damn monster too."

"I read that letter he had on him."

"Yeah... We should go there..."

"Auto-pilot course set for Ecrimar: remaining time unknown..."

"I'm tired..."

three days later

The man awoke with an ear-splitting crash. It seemed as though the ship was being torn in half. It actually was. After entering the atmosphere, it ran out of fuel and begin slowly descending. Now, it was sliding across the ground, tearing itself to shreds. Luckily, the cabin was entirely intact when it finally came to a stop. Unluckily, the man was the only one in the cabin... Getting up, all he could smell was the scent of smoke and death. Then a fit of dry-heaving would ensue, his body rejecting the sudden change. Unfortunately, he had never gotten to know the men who had diverted the course to this planet for his sake.

Making his way to the supply room, he pulled out everything was intact. Pulling on a black woolen shirt over his bandaged body, his dark brown hair fell over his face. A reddish tie was part of the black shirt, and even though he tried to tug it off, he decided it wasn't worth the effort. A dark grey leather cuirass was strapped over that. Two silver-colored belts crisscrossed his waist, keeping his ragged brown trousers up. An additional belt comprised of chain mail links was strapped around as well, and held the sheath to a sword he had found on one of the men that wouldn't be needing it any more. Feeling guilty, he had paused and said a few words, but knew he needed to move on. Two stony-colored bracers were equipped to his knees as well as some metal-soled boots on his feet. Lastly... he slid on a pair of black metallic gauntlets he had found. Small golden blades embedded in each finger would protrude only a few centimeters.

Something else had caught his eye. A canteen. Tackling it, he opened it up, drinking down copious amounts of water that he had been deprived of. It sat hard and cold in his stomach, but he was more or less satisfied.

Out of the ship he went as he stumbled over the surface. Climbing down, he finally dropped to the ground. Looking around, he noticed the morning sun rising through layers of peachy pink.

Walking a few steps forward, he felt something in his pocket. It was the piece of paper that the guard had taunted him with. Slowly pulling it out, he unfolded it, reading the words inscribed upon:

"My friends, the entire omniverse stands on the brink of eternity, obliteration in it's wake. Once again, I need your aid, I'll explain more later, time is running short, and you must hurry..."

Was this really for him? No... No... It couldn't be. But, maybe it was?

The man stood below the wreckage, looking at the note over and over again before finally sinking it back into his trouser pocket.

"Raticus... Raticus... Raticus..."

He said, as if saying his name would prove that he was somehow alive.

But yes, on this divine morning on a faraway planet, Raticus was indeed alive.

(How are we going to continue this Role-Play without Breaking Point, who apparently is banned?)

( Well, I've been asking around about him... and apparently he's been banned for two months. Be that as it may, which sucks for us, we'll just have to wait. Or, we could possibly continue without him until he gets back. Though I'm not sure he'd like that or not. )
