Final Fantasy X: The Return

Over the years that passed after Lady Yuna had destroyed Sin Spira was a beautiful
world full of joy and laughter. People no longer had the worry of waking up to their town
with no-one inhabiting it after an attack. Children now had traditional bedtime
scary stories, such as those of "never going into the woods, because the great
big green malboro will attack you!"

Towns were prospering in the light of this. Killika was now back on its own two feet
again, and Besaid became a popular spot for people buying or trading for tropical fruits
and bountiful fish. Luca was now even bigger! There were 2 Blitzball stadiums so
even more teams could compete in the annual tournament, and even the ex-religion
bound city of Bevelle was doing well, now a pleasant place to live.

Sadly, Macalania Woods is no more. With the demise of the temple there the woods
could no longer sustain themselves, their magical energy was gone and they were
running on empty. All that remained was a barron wasteland, such as that of the
Calm Lands.

Ah! The Calm Lands. Such a busy place that is now. It is full of arcades and casinos,
where the rich and famous like to go daily to blow there cash, and the working
class like to go on an annual visit for a holiday.

But.. a few years later, a nightmare had come true for the inhabitants of Spira.
In the great casom of the Calm Lands something was forming. A great big shell
was gaining in size everyday. People were panicing, what did this mean!? What was
it? They demanded an answer, one that no-one could give. People stopped talking
of it for a while, until one day when the large rock took off to the skies!

Everyones fear had been confirmed. Sin, had indeed, returned once again.

A new cult formed that named itself Anti-Yevon, and they had one thing on their
minds - destroy Sin quick, and make sure the job was done surely this time.

Anti-Yevon started asking forth people to become Fayths. There was no
shortage. People seemed very keen to help their world be safe, just as the Fayth
before them had felt.

Macalania Temple was arose from the lake it had lay dormant for years, and a
new Fayth introduced to give people its great power. Macalania Woods slowly started
to reform, the magical quietness of the woods was feelable again.

New summoners were being trained all over by the ones that had once hoped to
face Sin. Lady Yuna taught at Besaid, Lady Dona at Kilika, amongst others.

More sacrifices now have to be made to defeat Sin.

Aurora emerged from the Besaid Temple worn out and flushed. She had been in the chamber for 12 hours, praying and focusing as hard as she could.

It was worth it. She was now a summoner.

She slowly but surely made her way outside to what was now traditionally named the "summoners circle". This was where newly born summoners showed off their first Aeon.

Aurora slowly stood up in the circle and took her position. She raised her staff and called forth her aeon in her prayers. Orbs of light revolved around her, when suddenly a huge beast came running in from the trees and leaped down beside Aurora. The beast looked like a lion slashed with a panther, and it was named Barco.

Everyone around Aurora cheered, happy to see another summoner born in Besaid. This was not Aurora's original hometown, but it seemed a fitting place to start. This was where Lady Yuna had once begun her journey, and it would be the hardest place to get back to once the quest had begun.
