Scope: The Recon Journey

Planet, Earth
Year: 2050
Day: December 1st, 1:00 a.m.
A bomb ignites engulfing half the planet in radioactive poison. Millions are killed and many more are permanently altered forever. The remainder of the population escapes Earth in numerous makeshift spaceships as the radiation spreads across the planet from the bomb. People make new lives on planets far away from earth, soon forgetting that they ever fleed at all.

Planet, Mars
Year: 2100 (50 years later)
Day: January 1, 12:00 p.m.
You are enlisted in an elite recon group that has been organized by the mars government to return to earth to access the damages and find survivors, as if there are any. Your shuttle will arrive to pick you and the rest of the team up to start the fairly long journey back to earth. You pack your stuff and load your weapons, after all you have no idea what's there and wait for the shuttle, not knowing what will happen next.

Okay, the run down, elite group of recon soldiers sent back to earth 50 years later after a devastating bomb explosion that no one knows how started. You have no idea what's down there and the government's been pretty much hush, hush, but you have your own reasons for going.

Here are the rules:
NO GODMODING
NO POWERPLAYING
BE LITERATE!!!!!! If you only plan on writing one sentence per post, don't join!
If there is any romance make sure it's PG-13
This is in the future, but be lenient on your weapons and gear
If you read these rules write: "A Mars Soldier" above your template

Bio: Meilin is the daughter of the leaders of the mars development project. Her biological knowledge is unrivaled, and she's well respected as the creator of several Mars-bred spiecies.
