Yeah... betcha in a million years you would never expect to see me post another thread on here. Well guess what, Christmas has come early for you all, I am back, maybe for good, maybe just for this one role-play. Depends how I feel.


Note: If I see, in my opinion, a person that is a n00b, I will bash you to hell. Then, if you still have any dignity, you can role play, and prove yourself. Consider that a second X-Mas present.

None of you may remember Little Nemo. It was a comic back in the early 1900's by Winsor McCay, and then later turned into a movie, that was, in my opinion, one of the best ever. This is about that.

Now, here is the storyline:


Ten years ago, a boy by the name of Nemo saved Slumberland from the evil Lord Nightmare. He was locked back away, and everything returned to peace, as Nemo continued to traverse back and forth from Slumberland to the real world, and eventually, married the Princess, daughter of King Morphy Morpheus.


That was actually just two years ago. However, now, something has gone terribly wrong. Nemo, and his wife, and the old gang, have disappeared... to who knows where? It is in the Slumberlands, that is all that matters. A group of kids are being called to the Palace of Slumberland, to asked to save the King, Nemo, and everyone else.


Who knows what madness may lay along the paths... are you up for it?

Gender: Male

Appearance: Black hair, that comes down to his ears. Dark blue eyes. Stands about 6'2, weighs about 150 lbs. Thin, palish complection, but enigmatically handsome. He wears black, alot, or dark, winter, warm colors.

Personality: He is quiet, but very intelligent. Loyal, and helps and protects the friends he makes. If you are not his friend... you have something to watch out for.

Bio: Xavier grew up in a fairly good home. He always loved dreams, and would draw whatever he saw in them. He did visit Slumberland once before, but did not stay long ( it was about the time that Nightmare was unleashed). Now, he wants to return, and may get his chance...

Appearance:
Personality: Strong-willed and determined, Gwena hardly ever backs down from something she fights for. She's compassionate, intense, thoughtful, and optimistic, yet often practical.
Bio: She's always believed that dreams had meaning to them, and studied them as a hobby. Throughout her life, she's done a lot to defy the girlish stereotype, while still remaining feminine; learning archery, marksmanship, hand-to-hand combat, yet taking dance lessons. She always manages to surprise people.

Appearance: ((lemme see if I cant grab sumthin :p))

Personality: Anorem can tend to be a bit obnoxious at times, always the first moron to perk up and annoy everyone. He often finds himself as the comic releif, and never takes anything seriously.

Bio: A rather unexpected turn of events, he was abused as a child. His parents often ignored him, and he foudn himself expressing his stupidity in an effort to get attention. Although he is no longer burdened by sadness, his old habits of acting nutty have held fast.

Deeply consumed in a good dream one night, he found himself lucid and conscious of that dream. He seemed to be living the high life, who could have wanted anything more? But dragged off into slumberland, and throw into a fray, he now finds himself wondering, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?

Appearance: A spanish beauty, Nina is dark-skinned, with a pair of deep-set green eyes. She is about 5'7, and wears mostly red or white.
Personality: Intelligent and mysterious, Nina is very calculated, and stays calm even in the most tense of moments.
Bio: A clever little thing, Nina grew up in a pool of refinment and wealth, and eventually rose and brought a dominating cosmetic company to it's knees, using scandal. She is able to interperete dreams the moment she wakes, usually because of their vividness.

Name: Aundrea (Pronounced just like: Andrea) Evans
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: She's 5'6, not exactly the beauty queen, but fairly built in others point of view. Aundrea has shoulder-length dark brown hair, always wearing it messy around the edges, never having it all the way straight down. Both eyes are a light green with specks of blue in them. She's usually wearing the school uniform, of a white blouse and checkered skirt. Though in her free time she'll change into black capri's and light blue high-top sneakers, along with a long-sleeved red shirt. Around her neck is a small chained necklace with a cross pendant on it, never takes it off.

Personality: Aundrea can be a fiesty girl, never taking no for an answer. Though she can be eerily quiet, there is never a moment in her life where she will stop in getting what she wants. Towards her friends, the very few that she has, she is smiling and carefree, changing from one person to the next in either your advantage or disadvantage.

Bio: She was born into a not so wealthy family, but not poor either, just... In between so to say. From age ten, she was put into a boarding school, never to see her family or childhood friends again. In the family visits the school would have every month or so, she never saw a hint of what could be her family or relative of some kind. Aundrea always hid her tears, saying they would come next time, but they never did. She loved to escape the school more than anything, all the time planining something or other to get away from what she called, the hell-ish place of a school.

A couple years later passed, and she's still there, though now having priviledge to see the outside once and a while. It's a surprise she hasn't escaped yet... It could be due to her fears of being alone in the world, always being around someone else, she doesn't want to experience the lonelyness that was out there...

Name: Alex Gostaph

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Red spikey short hair. Dark green eyes. He stands about 6'1 or so and weighs around 158 lbs. He wears basic school uniforms...

Personality: He is outgoing, and optimistic. He never would let his friends down, and always wants to look at the good sides of things. However, that does not mean he is naive, he is far from it. He is intelligent, but can get a little cocky at times.


Bio: Alex grew up in an odd family. His father was director of the CIA, and his mother is a Forensic Scientist. His family is always busy, and they rarely have that much time for him, not to say they don't love him or anything. He feels a little lonely because of this, but has met several friends, including Xavier, along his travels. His family moves around quite a bit, seeing what his father does for a living. He has now been put into a boarding school, ironically, the same one as Aundrea... His dreams are ones of an acid trip, but not to the extent of nightmares.

Name: Leo Kellogs

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Stands about 6 feet tall. Dark brown semi spikey hair with navy blue eyes. He wears tight T-shirts with a light patterned short sleeve jacket and baggy jeans. He weights about 153 pounds. He's not exactly super macho man, but he's decent enough in strength.

Personality: He's very quiet and independent. Although he can be somewhat unfriendly at times, he's still equipped with proper manners, greetings, and kindness. He doesn't really think too much, but his intelligence is still great enough to get him straight A's. He doesn't really care too much about fashion. He never really combs his hair, leaving it messy, and he usually just grabs the nearest clothes he can find, which are usually the same kind of style.

Bio: Leo grew up in a nice and decent family. His father is a doctor while his mom is a professional chef. Both are always busy in their full time jobs, leaving Leo to take care of himself, explaining his independent traits. Leo is half cacasian and half asian, creating a common, yet interesting mix. After school, if he's not hanging out with his friends, Leo often visits his mom in her restaurant, where he gains access to free food and drinks.

Because his parents rarely have time for him, they placed him into a boarding school, where it'll be easier to take care of himself. His dreams take a very important role in his life. When he dreams, it's always very emotional. It's always either a heroic happy dream, or a dark and sinister nightmare. Both lead to his mood on that day, whether if he's going to be more optimistic, or if he's going to experience a forlorn sunrise.

I SHOULD POINT OUT THAT THIS TAKES PLACE TEN YEARS AFTER THE ORIGINAL ADVENTURE, WHICH TOOK PLACE BACK AROUND 1913!!

Xavier smiled as the wind blew through his hair. He was flying an old WWI plane, the classic kind, and was facing off with the Red Barron.

"I will get you this time!"

The man in the other plane simply smiled as the both of them drew ever closer to each other, suddenly, Xavier let loose with a flurry of bullets...but strangely, the man didn't do anything.

Then it occured to him. The man suddenly laughed out as the plane's wings turned into real, dragon like wings, and the plane slowly took the form of a huge dragon like creature, with the man's head as it's head. It roared as it opened its huge mouth to swallow Xavier whole. At the same time, it spoke one thing.

"Lord Nightmare is going to return!"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

Suddenly, Xavier bolted straight up in bed. He was sweating badly as he rubbed his forehead, and heard his mom knock on his door.

"Son, are you okay?"

"Yeah...yeah mom, I am." He sighed and yawned as he got up. It was the weekend, and it was time he did something.

He got up and went and got his clothing on. He then went downstairs, to where breakfast was waiting. His mother was baking fresh toast. It smelled so good, too bad they hadn't invented something that would specifically make toast...at least, not yet they hadn't.

"Your father is at work, he said he loves you. " He smiled some and nodded as he started to eat. "What should I do today.."

There wasn't a sound to be heard. The windows were brightened by the beautiful sunrise outside. The room was quiet. There was a strange creaking sound on a nearby bed, and suddenly, the silence was broken. Leo jumped up from his bed with a slight yip and panted. His focus immediatly turned to the only light in the room, his window. His panting started to calm down as he took deep breathes of air, sweat came down from his head as he grabbed a kleenix and whiped it. He sat back down on his bed and gazed at his clock. It was 5'AM..the weekends..He lit up a couple of lights in his room and took out a couple of his comics. Buck Rodgers..Flash Gordon..

"Might as well do something.."

He sat down on his bed and lit a candle on a nearby table. He flipped open his comics and started to read.

A loud bell resounded through the empty hallways and courtyard, immediatly following that was stampede of echoing footsteps, drowning out the bell's clanging. Everyone was getting ready for class now, each girl going into their respectable classroom till all of them were gone from the hallways and into the rooms. All except for one girl, Aundrea.

Her right hand rested on her collar, trying to get the tie loose from her neck. "Stupid teachers, stupid books, stupid... Stupidness.", she muttered, now lazily walking down the steps of the staircase that led to the outside, planing to skip once again as she had been doing once or twice a week. 'Why don't i just escape... I mean... I can get away from the area... Yet i keep coming back. Funny.'.

Alex blinked as he smiled and came face to face with Aundrea. "Skipping again eh? I don't blame you... " he looked into her eyes, reading her features for a moment and nodded. "Escape...that would be nice eh? Hey, you know, they just put in one of those new Bus Transits not too far from here...my uncle is the manager... I could get us two permanent bus passes and we could take a bus, and get away from here..at least for a little while."

He raised an eyebrow. "How about it?"

Aundrea gave a small jump at Alex's voice and his sudden appearence in front of her, "Whoa!... Huh? Oh, hey Alex.", she said, lowering her hand from her collar and just deciding to let the tie stay one for a while longer.

She gave a quick second thought about what he said, walking around the school till the classes ended wasn't much fun anyway, it would be a good change of scenery she guessed. "Sure, you should've told me about this sooner.", she said with a smile before walking off past him. "Come on now, don't want those hall monitors to catch us, hm?, Aundrea said with a sly tone in her voice a she placed both hands behind her back and continued on her way.

[Malum Incantum]

He blinked and smiled and rolled his eyes. "Then at lunch later I will walk down to the transit and get them... true, the Hall Monitors are quite the annoying ones..." He laughed a few moments before he walked alongside her, looking for a place out, that way that they would not get caught by them indeed...

[Raynie]

Aundrea slowly stopped walking, placing her hand on her chin, "Wait on second, why are you skipping? I hardly... Actually this is the first time i ever seen you skipping before." she said, curiousity hinting in her tone of voice this time.

Both hands now placed on her hips as she tapped her right foot on the ground, "Eh, doesn't matter i guess. Class should be over soon... I have a question though. Have you wanted to get away from here? I mean... From the school that is. And no, im not asking everyone this... You're the first person i have and probably the last.", Aundrea said, now waiting for an answer from Alex, not exactly knowing why she asked him specifically, it just came out of her, like an instinct at most.

He blinked as he looked up thoughtfully at the ceiling. "I...actually, I am not sure why I am skipping. I just felt this was a boring day, and well, that I should spend some more time with you, cause you are like one of the few friends that I can actually trust..." He then nods to her question. "Yes, I have once before, but I was not sure then either, as I am not now. Maybe it's that boredom from before, maybe I just want to get away and do something cool... one can never be too sure."
