Gothra: City of Darkness and Fear (re-retry)

[Flashback Humor]

-Story-
Gothra. A city obscured by clouds, tall dark buildings loom over the city. A rundown and abandoned ex-state-run insane asylum sits on the edge of the city, which adds to the eerieness of the city. Sunlight hardly shows through the clouds, overcast is the permanent weather forecast. It is overall a very dark and gloomy city, what makes it like this no one knows, but they do know to not go into the night alone. For there are people...or creatures, what ever you wish to call them, that hide in the alleyways and the darkest sections of the city, that wait for their prey to stumble upon them, for they change into that unsuspecting person's worst nightmare, untill the creatures/people attack their prey and devour their flesh, leaving only bloody bones, and a few scraps of human flesh. No one knows what their real appearance looks like, since it takes a form almost immediately after encountering its next victim. These beings have no names, but have many unofficial names among the city's people. There are attacks almost daily, and no one has lived to tell them what they have seen. Squads of teams have been sent out to try to find and exterminate what these unknown beings are. Their search is inevitably unsuccessful, because they are always found dead. But one thing is certain, these unknown beings need to feed to survive, just as all humans and animals need to do. The government devised a plan that for all people to be inside their homes before a certain time, and all shops to be closed at that time too. This plan worked for a small amount of time, before the beings got smarter, and soonly attacked their prey in their homes, while they are sleeping. And yet, some just go missing, nothing left behind, just random blood splatters where ever they were attacked. The attacks and deaths have been increasing over time, which leads to another theory about the enigmatic beings, the people who go missing, some how get changed into one of the beings. So therefore, the deaths and attacks will always increase until the beings are put to their death. Then one day a group of people appear in the city out of no where and claim to know how to destroy the beings, which they claim to be called Alptraums, or in the english language, nightmare(I couldnt think of a better name so I used the dictionary.com translator and translated nightmare into German.). They claimed to say that these creatures were formed out of the city's inhabitants fears and the city's darkness. They advised everyone who would listen to put dead leaves and twigs outside their doors and windows, because the Alptraums need life to live, and the dead leaves and twigs act like a barrier to an entrance, because they have no life force to feed off of. Also have the people advised the city's people to, if necessary, to wear sunglasses that only let the people who are wearing them see, and not let other people to see their eyes, since the Alptraums see their victim's greatest fear through their eyes. The city's officials ask how these few people know all of this, and their only answer is "previous encounters", as if they have encountered them before. And apparently they were right, for the few people who believed them, survived a massive attack one night that left almost 1,000 people dead. The few people who did not believe the people who had survived did as the people advised before. The government officials pleaded with their very lives to the people to stay and help exterminate the Apltraums. They agreed without hesitation. We take the roles of those people.

Personality: Takes things mostly seriously, but does have a sense of humor, that is when it is the right time and place. Does not reveal what she fears to anyone.

Bio: Her hometown was attacked by the Alptraums, killing mostly everyone. She survived my hiding up in a tree that was dying, which is how she found out about how the Alptraums dont like dead things. Soonly after the Alptraums vanished after the sun started to rise, she left the tree she was hiding in to find that her parents were killed by the Alptraums and she vowed that she would destroy were ever they originated from. Which over the years made her end up with a group of people who had previous encounters with the Alptraums, which led them to the dark city of Gothra.
