Lost and lonely the man wandered through the barren hills. He didn't know where he was, but he did know where he was going. He was going home. He didn't know how to get there but he was going. He didn't care how long it took, he was going home. He'd been through too much.
He was going home to fix things. He had been away to long, but every time he had tried to leave something would always come up that needed his attention. Not anymore. He was going back home to get his life back after nearly to years. He missed his friends and family, but he especially missed her.
He hadn't seen or heard from her since he had left home to join the People's Peace army. His duty had taken him far away from her, but he had never forgotten her, never forgotten her long elegant blond hair or her piercing blue eyes or the way she could so easily make him smile.
He smiled at the memory of her. He missed her. His ornate armor was a constant reminder of the time he had lost with her while he had been in the army. He had rose to the rank of Captain before the battle had killed all his troops. He had only survived by making a break for the woods when he realized that he was the only one left to stand against thousands. He was lucky to have made it. He was even luckier not to have been caught by the opposing armies trackers.
That’s how he found himself wondering around lost. He knew which way north was a heading that way thinking that sooner or later he'd run into civilization and be able to ask for directions. He could then ask for directions.
He had left the security of the woods a few days ago when he was sure he wasn't being followed. He had needed to be sure he wasn't being followed, because if he was caught the Army of the Order of Light wouldn't have taken lightly to him because he had fought against them. There had been no choice about fighting against them though. If left unchallenged the Order would dominate all free lands and subject them to tyranny that the Order hid behind false intentions. He couldn’t have in good conscience not taken up the fight against them.
He wondered through the barren hills for two days before he came to a small village. From talking to some of the locals he learned that if he headed northeast he would reach his home in a few days of hard travel. He thanked the villagers as he left heading towards his home. He set a brick pace.
Two days later he saw the familiar walls of his home in the distance. He started running, excited that he was finally home. As he neared the walls he realized something was wrong. The familiar sounds of people going about their business were absent and a familiar small he couldn't quite place was heavy in the air. He drew his sword and walked carefully the reaming distance to the city. When he got there he nearly lost his lunch. He immediately knew what the smell he couldn't place was: Death.
The air was heavy with it. Hanging from the city walls were the mutilated corpses of the city’s residents. People he had grown up with hang with their faces frozen in the agony of their final moments. He walked around the walls looking for one body, hoping it wouldn’t be there. He nearly fell to his knees in anguish when he saw what he had dreaded. Her body was hanging from the wall, slightly swaying in the breeze. The eyes he had often dreamt about stared back at him through the glaze of death.
“Who would do this?” he murmured softly.
Then he saw the writing on the wall that he had previously missed because of his search for her. Written in what appeared to be dried blood were words that would later haunt his dreams.
“The wicked will be shown no mercy. The wicked will be stricken down by the hand of the Creator in this world, the Order of the Light. Only the wicked stand against the Order and will be put to death for their crimes.”
The words awoke in him a sense of purpose. Those he had fought against had killed innocents who had not given into their lies. He swore that as long as he still had a breath to draw the Order would never be safe. He would kill them to the last man for their crimes.
“I, Athalus Majend, will not rest till every member of the order is made to suffer for their crimes!”

Your choice is to join Athalus in his fight or join with the Order of the Light and help them in their plans to dominate the world.

Bio: growing up he had always been the person that others wanted to fight. so when he turned seven he used that to his advantage. he began training at the age of 7 and every fight he got better, by the age of 10 he was known across the land as Saldify, Legendary guardian of the north. everyday he saved another person, made a new friend, and defended his people from the greatest threat of them all, the order. although it was orginaly established as a aid to the land, it quickly became a silent threat, creeping in the night and slashing its prey when it was hidden. Salidify had fought off many that the order had sent, and up until he recieved word that the order was sending an army norht to eliminate their enemies, he had been ready to fight alone. but now he knew he needed some help. the people from the south had always thought of the northerners as barbarians, when really they were only defending themselves from the wild. when salidify returned home one day he found his village under attack by several from the order. the towns people were able to beat them with the help of salidify, and after a long bloody battle, They were ready to defend their land to the last drop of blood in their veins. they were ready....to take on the order.....

OOC: It hasn't died, people just had to go to school so couldn't post. This seems like enough people to go on and get started.

After silently mourning for the dead he prepared for the task ahead. There would be a time for mourning once the threat from the Order was eliminated. Until then his responsibility was for the living.
He headed south, back towards where he had last seen the Order. It had taken him days to get home from the site of the battle and the Order had probably moved on, so it would probably take him a week or so to catch up to the Order. Once he caught up with the Order, he would start eliminating them, one by one in their sleep if need be.

Marie watched her father preach about the victory against the infidels from the balcony of the temple.
she was happy that her gifts were appreciated by her father but she wondered if the infidels he spoke about were really the enemy of the land.

"Father, did you get all of the men at the battle?" Spoke Marie
"No daughter, one escaped."
"Athaleus, the escapees name is Athaleus. You must capture him soon, for he will be the one man who can kill you Father." Said Marie as if in a trance.

Zieth still laying on the ceiling of a house so the order couldn't see him for he was in the town the whole time seen a guy walk away. "Hey who are." Zieth yelled wondering if the mysterious guy heard him. For Zieth was behind him on a house surronded by dead bodies that didn't bother him this time for he swore his life to kill the order.

Athalus thought he heard something behind him. He turned and looked but didn't see anything so continued on.
After walking a few minutes a thought occured to him. He was running lowon supplies. He berated himself for not getting any from the town. The dead wouldn't mind if he took some supplies. He'd never be able to avenge them if he ran out of food and starved.
He turned around and headed back towards Da'Hin to look for supplies. It shouldn't take him long to find supplies. Once he got to the town he went to the first building he saw. It was an old house that looked like it had belonged to a wealthy merchant. Except for some blood and a few slash marks the house seemed to be in good repair.
Good, he thought to himself, that should make it easy to find supplies. After about three minutes of searching he found the Kitchen and searched the pantry. He was rewarded by finding a full loaf of bread and some berries that would do nicely. He put them in his pack and left the house. He then started walking towards the entrance of the town so he could be on his way.

As Zieth seen the guy walking towards the town entrance he got up and went and jumped off the house and drew his sword in mid-air. "Who are you" Zieth said ready to kill him if he tried any funny stuff. Zieth had killed many soldiers in the fight for the city before any of the towns people died. "I'm the only one left to protect the city so who are you." Zieth asked ready to kill the guy.

“I’m Athalus Majend, former Captain in the People’s Peace Army. This was my home until I joined the army a few years ago.”
“Who are you? And why do think I’m a threat? Do you not see the mark of the People’s Peace Army on my armor?” he said as he pointed to the insignia on his breastplate of a balance with a sword on one side and a jail key on the other." Do you not know that the People's Peace Army fights to stop the threat posed by the Order.Or rather, fought to protect stop the Order."

"My apoligize i am Zieth Comacoda i am the last surviver in the fight for this town that happen about a week ago i fough my ass off trying to protect these people but it was for nothing they all died so i hid hoping to find some one to help me kill the order." salidify sliced down another soldier as the order began to retreat for now...he knew that they wouldnt give up so easily if they didnt want salidify to chase them down" we have won for today men!" he called out with a joyfull tone as the orders soldiers started to draw back to there base" i think that we might have stopped them here before they could do anything to us" he smiled and sat down on a bench next to him as he wiped the dry blood from his face. he looked down at his bloody sword and smiled remembering what he had been fighting for" i have been the defender of this village for a while" he whispered looking over at the current general" i think it is time i pass this job onto you..besides i am heading south to see what other destruction the order has cuased" he sighed placing his sword on his back, and climbing on to his horse"i bid you all farwell my men...you have fought well....keep up the good fight while im gone, and remember never give up no matter how grave the consequences are..if you never fight for what you believe in then you will never win one for the team...i hope to see you all one day soon" he whispered as he rode off towards the south...searching for the first town he could find that had been terrorized by the order.

Zieth continued to look at athalus "So should we go out after the order or are you going alone." Zietht asked for he usually fought alone. Zieth stood waiting for an answer and looking at all of the dead bodies hanging on the houses poor people i tried my hardest to defend you like i have for the past 5 years i will avenge you.
