The Duelist Championship

Hi everyone. I am a big yugioh fan so I dedcided to start my own yugioh rpg.Let me tell you about the storyline. The story takes place after the Kaiba Co. Grand Championship but before the memory arc storyline and the GX storyline. It starts out with Yugi and Pegasus each having a vision while they sleep. Yugi's vision shows him and Yami standing in a desert. The gods appear and are sucked into the sand. The millenium rod, necklace, and ring also appear before them and then vanish. Also five suns and moons appear in the sky. Pegasus' vision is of standing in the chamber where he received the millenium eye. Shadi appears before him and tells him that he will be facing a duelist with three eyes. I am looking for people to play the characters from the show. You can be an original character as well. The beginning of the storyline will be set. All that will be needed is the dialogue and such. Once it reaches a certain point then the skys the limit. Here are a few guidelines.
1.When dueling, duel fairly. Let's make these duels interesting.
2.Please be language appropreate. This is yugioh here.
3.If you choose to be a character from the show, you can also be an original character as well. But the decks must be different. Use the decks the characters use in the show.
4.Be descriptive and creative.
5.Have fun.
I will ask you to post descriptions of your original characters once I have enough people. If you want to be a character from the show type the name of the person that you want to be be.
NOTE:I myself will be Pegasus and an original duelist.

Name: Kairon Takamarrei

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Personality: Kairon is a very... interesting duelist. He usually has a quiet look to himself and is quiet mosto f the time, but inside, he is thinking all the time and is very, very intelligent. He seems to be on the colder side, and does not show any true colors to the sides of good or evil.

Bio: The first thing that Kairon remembered was being in an orphanage. He was mysteriously left as a baby on the steps of the place, and the people that ran it took him in and cared for him.

He grew like any other child, except for some small differences. For one, he always had this distant kind of approach to others and never associated much with other kids. His intelligence level also grew more rapidly than most kids.

At the age of seven, he discovered Duel Monsters. A card that had been mysteriously sent to him for his birthday contained a monster called "Wicked God-- Dreadroot". All the card was, was a white greeting card, with the words "Happy Birthday Kairon" on the inside of it, along with the card.

Then, a month later, he received more cards, and earned some through presents and working. He slowly worked his way up in dueling, soon having beaten everyone in his neighborhood. He was winning small tournaments and earning money.

By the age of ten, he was a very well known duelist in the region. Everyone in Tokyo and the outerlying towns and suburbs knew who he was in the duelist circle. He all the while gained more powerful cards and started to build a small fortune.

By the age of twelve, he was a top duelist in the world. He had money as well, loads of money. He never talked much, and was seen as an idol, from younger and older duelists alike.

It was at this age that he received a final present. It was an old book, written in Egyptian. Odd thing about it was, he could strangely read it, as if it was a second hand language. It was called the "Millenium Magic Book". In it, he found spells, along with a short diary of how things called the "Millenium Items" were created using the book and a few other resources. He slowly learned the spells, and learned new ways to duel, and new pathways opened in his mind.


By the age of 18, he had bought out many small companies that sold Duel Monsters and other related games, and had his own conglomerate forming. He now owns Schroder Corp. as well, after buying it from a humiliated Von Schroder. He still uses his first card, the Wicked God -- Dreadroot card.

Some also say, those most are scared to, that he can duel using black magicks...

Personality: James is a kind and very shy duelist. He doesn't talk to many people except for his closest friends, his girlfriend Brianna, and his uncle.
Bio: James grew up liking dueling monsters at a very young age thanks to his uncle. His uncle, Dan Walker is one of the world's greatest duelists. Dan Walker became a father to James since he lost his at a very young age. James learned everything from his uncle and is an awsome duelist now. The thing is though he hasn't beaten his uncle once and they have dueled many times. James was looking through a library when he stumbled across an old book. It told of events that happened in egypt 5000 years ago. It also told of the millenium items. After buying the book, James hopes to obtain a millenium item for himself. His favortie card is a very rare monster that he won in a tourtament. Her name is Ice Mage and she is a powerful spellcaster.

Name: Serena Ishtar
Age: 17
Personality: Dark, determined
Bio: Serena is the cousin of Marik and Ishizu Ishtar. She was isolated from the world when she was a child and taught to duel by her parents. She enjoyed this, but wanted to take part in professional tournaments. From the moment she set eyes on Yugi on a TV, Serena has had visions of Yugi facing greater opponents who seem to have the upper hand. When she turned the age of 16, she was allowed to step out into the world and learn what there was to learn. A year on, Serena has gained control of the Millennium Rod and Necklace. She doesn't realise their true power, but she protects them with her life. Now she is looking for greater opponents she can challenge and maybe even become the next World Champion. Her rarest card is the Blue Eyes White Dragon card, which she made herself.
