Final Fantasy 8: Return to the War

50 years have passed since the evil Sorceress Ultimecia was defeated by Squall Leonheart and the SeeD's. With the threat of the Sorceress finally gone, Balamb Gardeb returned to it's former home on the island of Balamb.

For the next 10 years peace spread throughout the planet. Zell and Quistis became the joint heads at a newly rebuilt Gabadian Garden while Irvine and Selphie went and rebulit Trabia Garden, eventually becoming teachers. At Balamb Garden, Seifer, Fujin and Raijin were given a second chance as they were left in charge in both Headmaster Cid's and Squalls abscence. As for Squall and Rinoa, they were left in charge of a brand new Garden set up in Esther, a act to help unite the nation with the rest of the world.

However times have changed since the peaceful times of 40 years ago. Once again rumours are spreading of another Sorceress appearing in the land. Again Esther and Galbadia are on the brink of war and the Garden's are once again keeping peace in the world. Now a smal group of trainee student at Balamb garden are about to be thrown into an adventure which will span the entire planet.

Personality: Ed is quiet, smart, unsociable, and calm.
Weapon: A new and improved Gunblade
Bio: Ed is the son of Squall and Rinoa. His father taught him how to train, and even gave him a gunblade. Squall always told him that one day he would have to save the world, and when Ed was young, he really believed he would be the savior of all. Ed was sent to Balamba garden because his father said he trained there and learned almost everything he knows there. So, now he is a very good student at the garden.

Appearence:
Personality: Determined. If he sets his sights on an objective he will do anything and everything in his power to acheive it while protecting his freinds at the same time.

Weapon: Duel Gun-Daggers (Like gun blades but are are gun with small retractable daggers on them.)

Bio: James was previously an orphan taken in by a former Esther General. Over the years he was trained in the same style and ways that an elite Esther soldier would have been, and he also received the education of an Esther graduate aswell.

However James' adoptive father was infact a traitor. Since he left the army he had become a Galbadian spy, feeding them secret information about troop posistion and secret research which was being developed. Having found this terrible secret out he confronted his adoptive father. The two eventually started to fight and after a gruelling battle Jame walked out the victor. He turned over his adoptive father tot he authorities and left Esther.

After he left he made his way to Balamb, where he heard about some advanced training techniques. Curious he signed up and started to learn the ways of the SeeD, hoping that one day he could finally find a place he can call home.

Personality: He's real wild always looking for a fight. Jokes around alot in situations people normally don't play around. But when it comes to fighting he's a complete alter ego that puzzles many.
Weapon: Excalibur
Bio: Terrance became an orphan after his father died in the hospital after a mission that involved the Sorceress that recently appeared. His dad had given him the Excalibur sword before he died in his sleep a few days later, Terrance was 14 at the time.

Terrance became a student at Galbadia but transferred to Balamb because at Galbadia swordsman were only allowed to use gunblades which is the standard now at most gardens. Balamb was the only garden left that had not changed to the new standard of the others. A very skilled swordsman; students quickly learned his abilities rivaled that of gunblade wielders. Terrance is the one of the few students who are swordsman but don't fight with gunblades.

Personality: A little dark, but she is usually in a good mood. It's very rare for her to be jumpy, but she can have a good laugh once in a while.
Weapon: ((THe sword in the pic)) Kazukama, and Shadow Alchemy.
Bio: Friends with Edward Elric, she knows Alchemy, and also weilds a sword by using the shadows into any form she wants to. Her parents died at a young age, so she looks up to Ed like a big brother.

ic: The sun rose over the mountains at the back of Balamb island. Slowly the light started to penertrate the windows of the tall building in the centre of the island. Inside one of these windows a figure began to stir as he woke from a long nights sleep. James Ashcroft woke up to a blinding light that immedietly woke him up and he prepared for another day at Balamb garden.

Balamb Garden itself hadn't really changed alot since it came bck to Balamb island 40 years ago. It had upgraded it's systems and had been modernised but it was the same building as it had alays been. However the layout was a bit different. The trainig centre had been moved from it's place on F1 to B1, Nord's old office. In place of the Training centre was a large hall which was used for various events, such as the Garden Festival, SeeD graduation parties and stuff like that.

James gave off a big yawn and stretched his arms as he got dressed and made his way to the Cafeteria. Inside was empty, but the other students would be there soon enough. Walking over to the counter he grabbed a carton of apple juice, a glass and a small magazine. Taking these items he gave a freindly smile to the staff before walking to the back and sitting down, putting his feet on the table and sipping his apple juice. As he read he waited for the room to fill up with students.

Scoop woke up, He yawned and rubbed his eyes. He got up and splashed his face with water and walked over towards the cafeteria. He got his usual breakfeast and sat on one of the desks. He ate and started to do his homework which he "forgot" to do. He studied his elements note book and tried to memorize them for the test today.

Ed looked at the ceiling in his room. "Ugh.....nothing to do..." He got up and walked to the center. "Where to go today...." He looked at the areas. "Maybe the training center..."

[Battlecry]

Malina pushed the covers off of her bed, then walked up to her mirror, and brushed her hair. "Uugh... I wish I could've slept longer.." She finished brushing her hair, then ot dressed, and put her sword on her belt. "Well, here we go...." She walked down towards the cafeteria with her hands behind her head.

[Breakdown]

Ed jumped and headed to the training room. "Maybe there are strong creatures today..." He picked up his gunblade and walked in. "Hmmm.....a T-Rex a Garaldo...and a few weak wasps....not too hard..." Ed training for a while and got out of the training room. "I'm hungry!" He turned and headed to the cafeteria.

Malina looked behind her, and saw Ed rushing towards the cafeteria."Henh, typical Edward...." She removed her hands from behind her head, then gave a slight wave.
