Hello and welcome player,

If you are reading this, it means that you shall be partaking in "The Game". In your pocket, you shall find a Gamer Tag. Please fill it out completely with your correct information, for you will require it throughout "The Game" and it will also serve as your identification. Notice the section on the tag concerning points. At this time, your point count should be at a thousand. If it is not, please contact a Moderator to correct this. The points are used for everything from weapons and upgrades to sleeping arrangements and services. These Player Points are obtained through completion of events and challenges and from when a player is eliminated from the game, causing his or her Player Points to be evenly distributed among the remaining players. At the end of "The Game", the winner or winners may chose from a grand selection of prizes based on their PP number. Also, please note the section of the tag concerning life. Your life should currently be set to a hundred. Please contact a Moderator if this is incorrect. Life points are what keeps you active in "The Game". Throughout the game, your Life Points will raise, should you find a LP pack, for example, and fall, should you fail an event. Should your LP drop to zero, you will be eliminated from the game.

Periodically, you will receive an event or challenge from "The Game's" administrator, The Chess Master. An event is a mandatory game that you must preform, otherwise it will result in a disqualification and you will be eliminated from the game by the Moderators. Avoiding and/or opposing the Moderators because of this disqualification will result in further punishment and possible ban from "The Game" altogether. Event games are normally straightforward and not overly challenging, though they grow in difficulty as "The Game" progresses. Completion of the event will be rewarded with PP and, every now and then, weapons, upgrades, or a LP pack. Failure to complete an event will result in a 10% PP penalty and a loss of ten LP points, however you will not be forced to replay the Event game, but may do so with the same stakes in place.

Challenge Games, which are rarer than Event Games, are games offered to you by the Chess Master with various stakes pinned to them. These games are not mandatory and no penalty will be given for declining Challenge Games. Different from Event Games, Challenge Games normally test both body and mind, sometime to the extreme. The stakes pinned to Challenge Games normally offer useful or powerful weapons and upgrades, but, in return, require you to stake more PP and LP. It is up to you whether or not you believe you should risk a Challenge Game.

Now that I have told you the basics of the game, I would like to tell you a little bit about me. I am not directly apart of "The Game". I was not placed in "The Game" by the Chess Master or Moderators and I'm considered an anomaly to them. They have been after me for years, but have failed at every turn. In a sense, I suppose you could consider me a virus or a form of cheat. Yes, a cheat would be more appropriate. Don't worry, though, you will not be disqualified because of me. The Chess Master and his Moderators will not hold you accountable because of me, even if you use the information I provide to cheat in "The Game". I will be helping you throughout "The Game", providing various directions, commands, and clues, so please keep a ear open for your cellphone, as I will be contacting you through text messages. However, the Chess Master is aware that I will provide you information and will try to use that to his advantage to give you false information, which could possibly lead to your elimination from "The Game". You will soon learn how to tell the information I send and that he sends apart.

Welcome to Gameopolis, the world's largest and greatest amusement park, all of which is a single, giant game. The game is a highly advanced form of virtual reality, which places the user into the game, both physically and mentally. They are able to see what is in the game with their own eyes, able to smell, touch, hear, and even taste. It is as if the user has become apart of the game completely. The easiest way to describe it is that the game and reality merge into one existence and that existence is what the user experiences. Gameopolis is roughly thirty stories underground and is about the size of a small city.

Despite being called the "greatest place on Earth", Gameopolis stands abandoned, ruined, and forgotten. Twenty years ago, it was the "greatest place on Earth", before a series of deadly accidents led to its closing. Two hundred and fifteen people were "killed" when, due to a malfunction in the game, the people that were eliminated from the game were also eliminated from existence, with the last one assumed to be the Chess Master himself. Gameopolis was quickly closed and, when no progress was made in fixing the malfunction, abandoned and condemned. The only elevator to Gameopolis was then demolished and the shaft was assumed to have caved in from the demolition.

For those twenty long years, Gameopolis had sat quietly in the dark, alone. However, after a sudden and unexplainable mass disappearance of citizens of neighboring cities, reports of strange sounds and figures around the area Gameopolis is under began to flood in. Those who had disappeared awoke to find themselves mysteriously inside Gameopolis, with everything running as if it were twenty years ago. However, unlike its previous state, this Gameopolis was in a state of decay. Many buildings had fallen over and several others had been "fixed" with various objects, some of which looked or actually were alive. Decaying creatures and constructs roamed the streets, looking for anything they could overpower and kill. Despite this state of decay, it seemed as if "The Game" and Gameopolis was still functioning as intended. Those who were kidnapped had received a message from a mysterious being who went by the name Simon, saying that they have been entered into "The Game" and explaining a few rules and a little about himself. While nothing is known about this Simon, it seems he is the player's only hope at surviving Gameopolis.

The Chess Master
The Administrator of Gameopolis.
The Chess Master administers both the Event and Challenge Games and oversees "The Game" and Gameopolis. He mainly works behind the scenes and forces his will through the Moderators. Essentially, he can be seen as "The Game's" main antagonist.

Moderators
The Enforcers of Gameopolis.
The Moderators work for the Chess Master and make sure players do not cheat and personally handle disqualifications. Despite them being on the "bad side", Moderators will help players should any problem with "The Game" arise that needs to be fixed. While they are Gameopolis' enforcers, the Moderators are not omniscient, omnipotent, or omnipresent. If allowed by the Chess Master, Moderators are capable of administering Event and Challenge games.

Players
The Challengers of Gameopolis.
The players are normal, everyday people who decide to play "The Game" for either the thrill or, most likely, the "grand prizes" that await them. The players receive and must complete Event games from the Chess Master. While they are all fighting against the Chess Master, the players are also playing against each other, since the more PP one has, the better prizes one can receive.

Simon
An Anomaly of Gameopolis.
No one has seen or knows what Simon looks like. His origins are unknown. How exactly he invaded Gameopolis and how he is capable of evading the Moderators and the Chess Master is unknown. Simon's goals and motivations are unknown, aside from the fact that he assists players via text messages, providing shortcuts and cheats to them.

5. No limitations for the number of characters you have. You just need to be able to keep up with them all.

6. Activity: Please, only join if you plan on posting. I don't want someone to join and never post. Also, if you do plan on joining and start up a template, finish it. Finally, I ask for the people who will participate in the rp to stay an active poster. That's not asking too much.

7. Keep the fighting realistic. No one wants to be in a fight with a person who dodges everything you throw at them.

Appearance: In game, right? Well, either way it'll be the same: He wears a gray beanie that covers his dark gray messy hair, his skin is tan. He wears a black v-neck shirt under a brown hoody that bears a single orange line above his chest. His pants are also gray and a bit baggy. Around his neck is a necklace of a giant chicken's fang. No really, it's the fang of a giant chicken.

Personality: People might say he's insane, but really he's just gone mad. Or rather, he acts as if he's lost his sanity, while in reality he's a calm person who thinks cleary in most situations. His fake crazy side is there to make others think he's insignificant.

Bio: Ever since "The Game" came, people always wondered who Simon was. Casper wants to find out, and he entered just to do so. In order to find out, he came up with acting insane in the game to loosen the suspections around him. It took him long to nail down his fake personality, but now it's near perfect.

Extra: Ayep. I liked using Lost Warrior Casper so much I decided to use him again, this time with his mind in tact. The only problem is, people'll call his weapon overpowered. D:

• Pysical Description: Kasu retains most of the picture, staying modern in and out of game. He has very unruly blue hair that he is too lazy to tide up so he instead tries to hide it under a beanie wrapped with goggles. Whatever that red thing is by his ear is not there. He retains that jacket only the shirt underneath that's tucked in isn't there. Instead the shirt underneath that one is visible, black with a symbol of a head wearing headphones in red is there. The kneepads aren't there and neither is the snow/skateboard. the gloves are there, only fingerless and he has red eyes instead of blue. A LOT of changes.

Personality:

Kasu is generally a laid back guy, not one to try to be mean to people. He has a happy go lucky personality and hates it when people worry. He has a very strong sense of justice sticking with his values and fighting for them until he cannot do so any longer. Though he is somewhat lazy about things (i.e. his HAIR) he works hard to accomplish things he feels should be done and fights to the end about what he believes in. He hates feeling locked up and unable to move making him somewhat claustrophobic. He also hates silence with a fierce passion making it his duty to make sound whever there is silence and whenever possible. Also he is a lover of music and can be caught repeating lyrics out loud or to himself or even tapping on things when extremely bored. He enjoys being different and likes standing out from people.

Bio:
Becoming bored very easily, Kasu had found that there was some new game all the rage twenty years ago. Thought not a fan for antiques and old things, some of them actually intrigue him. Wondering what this 'Game' was he decided he wanted to try it out. Little did he know he would be sooner than he expected...

Bio: Coming from a small town near Gameopolis, He grew up helping people when he could. He could be described as a "Good" person. He cared more about the fate of others than his own, once pushing someone who hated him out of the way of a car and almost getting hit himself. He wonered why he was in this "Game" And why all these others were here as well, He felt something was wrong, and he wanted to help everyone get out.
