Pokemon: The New Frontier


Deep in the mountains between the regions of Orre and Fiore, above Johto and Kanto lies a small region called Onyo. No one has had contact with this region, until now. A team of pokemon researchers have found a way into the region and has made contact with the main city of Cherrywood. This researcher team has gone around the world and has sent out invitations to some of the strongest pokemon trainers to come and explore this new region and its unseen pokemon. They have requested that all leave their old pokemon behind and only bring one pokemon at a low level as a starter type pokemon. They have also suggested that some trainers bring no pokemon and pick a new starter from that region.

The new region features a variety of new pokemon and new evolutions. From average common pokemon to legendaries only found in that region. The region also features a set of gyms and a pokemon league. Although there are only five gyms and the pokemon league is nothing more than a large contest where pokemon trainers come together and battle till a champion is named. The region also holds pokemon contests and they are the same as the gyms in quantity. The contest rules are simple, the contestants in the first round show off their pokemons beauty, in the second round the contestants show off their moves as well as battling to win the match. At the end the two finalists battle for the winner.

The region has had no real threats from organizations, but a threat is making its way into the depths of the region. Team Rocket has an eye for the rare new pokemon in the region and is setting up to invoke the pokemon of legend. Team Rocket hopes to capture two legendary pokemon and use their combined power as a way to lure and capture all the other legendary pokemon in the world, including Arceus. But what they don’t know is that another special legendary pokemon with no idea of its power will put a stop to it when the time comes.

Rules

1. No God-Moding or Power-Playing
2. No heavy cussing just things like shit and damn are allowed
3. This isnt a romance RP but i do incourage a little romance
4. Have good grammar, i want to be able to read it and others to as well
5. All members may create, make, or find one pokemon to go on the soon to be list of pokemon in the region
6. All members are allowed three characters, and you may take control of Gym Leaders, but only Gym Leaders
7. Last of all, Just Have Fun

8.Spirit Shard-A mysterious shard that holds the spirit of the first pokemon that died, a hold item that makes some pokemon evolve. Can be found in the Sanctum Chamber.

9.Cloud Wing-An evolutionary item that is held by an eevee. Can be found in the Cordovan Library.

Ok the pokemon Taijuti, Sinne, Sacrelivo, Luumin, and Lagralia are all legendary. Sinne is a less powerful version of Sacrelivo and Luumin is a less powerful version of Lagralia. With special help these two pokemon awaken as there true forms.

Onyo Region:
Because i dont have a map of the Onyo region, the best im going to be able to give you is a description of it in the best detail i can so please bare with me.

Cherrywood City is the largest and most developed of all the cities in Onyo, it also sits directly in the center of the region. The town has the Cherrywood Gym ran by Sophia and a contest hall where the Grand Festival is held, also it has a museum where they revive fossils into pokemon. The four corners of the city experience different seasons.

Sienna Town lies to the east of Cherrywood about a five days hike over rolling hills and lush fields. Sienna Town is famous for its beautiful sienna colored soil which is lush in nutrients which makes it a great place to grow plants. The town has the Sienna Gym ran by Burny,and a contest hall. Sienna Town experiences spring the entire year.

Just to the east of Sienna Town is the ever famous Sacred Sanctuary where it is said the legendary pokemon Sinne is supposed to be kept from escaping to his original resting place, the Condemned Temple. All pokemon who live within the Sanctuary is said to be extremly kind, if a traveler where to get lost in the sanctuary it is said the pokemon are kind enough to help them find the exit and will only attack when provoked.

On the way to Sienna Town just a few hours off the trail is the small town of Camellia. Camellia town is famous for their Camellia tress that grow wild amoung the terrain of the surrounding areas. Just north of Camellia is the famous Deep Lake. This lake is said to be so deep that no human has been able to reach the bottom, as well as it being deep it is also wide it takes up almost a quarter of the Onyo region. The lake is also a salt water lake. Some scientists think that it was connected to the sea at one point, some still believe it is connected to the sea by an under water cavern. Since it is a salt body of water there are all kinds of pokemon in it.

Timberwolf Town is just to the south of Cherrywood. It is about a seven day hike through dense forests and humid swamps. The town features the Timberwolf Gym run by Avery, and a contest hall. Timberwolf Town is the birth place for contests in the Onyo Region with the oldest contest hall in all of Onyo. Timberwolf Town experiences summer all year round.

Just west of Timberwolf Town is the temple Sanctum Chamber where the legendary pokemon Taijuti is said to live. This is a place that has a tale attached to it. Its is said that if the two pokemon Sacrelivo and Lagralia where to be revived that the two would come to this temple and start a battle that could tear a hole in the universe. It is also said that if the twos powers where to be harnassed that the combined powers could control all the pokemon in the world.

In the swampy part of the route to Timberwolf is a place that is called the Old Factory where lots of electric and fire types can be found.

Linden Town lies just west of Cherrywood. Its about a four day hike through sandy deserts and rocky terrain. The town features the Linden Gym run by Shirly, and a contest hall. Linden Town and its surrounding area is famous for its ground and ghost type pokemon. Linden Town experiences fall all year round.

Just to the west of Linden is the famous Condemned Temple where it is said the legendary pokemon Luumin is held and kept from returning to its original resting place, the Sacred Sanctuary. All the pokemon in this temple are real mean and will attack anyone who enters. If you get lost in the temple there are some pokemon that will lead you further into the temple then leave so you get even more lost. If your lucky enough to get a pokemon that lives in the temple weak enough you can catch it in a Dawn Ball which will purify it and turn it good to help you get out of the temple.

Deep in the desert of the route to Linden Town is the famous Desert Castle. This castle is hard to get to since it is surrounded by large sandstorms and whirlwinds. It is crawling with ground and ghost type pokemon. The item Ancestral Bell is said to reside here.

Carmine Town lies just north of Cherrywood. It is about a six day hike through snow and deep pine woods.
The town features the Carmine Gym run by Birchly, and a contest hall. Carmine Town is famous for the giant pine that sits in the middle of the town, during the holiday seasons if your lucky enough to see, the town decorates the tree and then for a few days during the night the Volbeat and Illumise migrate towards the town and do courtship dances in the tree which make it light up making it look like a christmas tree.

Just to the north of Carmine Town is the Team Rocket hideout. A large building deep in the pine forest houses about 100 rockets and their pokemon while they stay in the Onyo region going with their plan to take the legendary pokemon.

On the route to Carmine Town is another town just an hour from the route. Its called Cordovan Town, it is famous for its hardy bushes and trees that bare a pretty purple flower that can withstand the extreme cold.
Because the Deep Lake is so large Cordovan Town also has access to it. This town has a contest hall and a large library.

Yes they are and yes you may have one or you can have a starter from the other regions. The smaller pokemon are the pre-evolutions then so on.
