A long time ago, there was a thriving, ever-growing city called Lumina. This city was at war with a great empire, known as the LaVonte Empire, founded and upheld by a family called LaVonte. This family was a great evil, for it's empire thrived upon leeching energy and life from the earth itself, hindering the growth of the city Lumina, which was only a number of miles from where the evil empire resided. The leader of the empire, King Farius LaVonte the 3rd, saw the city as a hindrance to the growth of his own empire, despite the fact that his was the true parasite. Overcome by greed, he declared war upon Lumina, dispatching armies in an attempt to seize and destroy the city. Under the command of his seven sons, the LaVonte Brothers, these armies waged countless battles against the armies of Lumina, and eventually came critically close to their goal. In an act of desperation, the people of Lumina gathered at the cathedrals and prayed to their Gods to save them from the LaVonte Brothers. Hearing their prayers, the deities were enraged, and the hands of the gods descended from the heavens, striking the seven Brothers from their horses as they rode. It is said that they were cursed with a terrible power, which is said to be untamable by man. They were cursed with immortality, being forced to suffer through the vain efforts to control the surging power raging through their weak human frames. The gods destroyed the armies of the LaVontes, and left the seven brothers in the bloodstained fields to suffer, and returned to the heavens without looking back. Over time, six of the brothers were found by scouts of the LaVonte empire, and equipped with devices intended to subdue their raging power, thus, turning into a weapon for them to use as they pleased. Now, this evil force had the power of the very gods of their enemies at their fingertips. Though, it came at a price, as the six brothers fell into deep comas. The seventh and favorite son of the king, Cyprian LaVonte, was never found, and instead was taken in by a Luminian woman who had been searching the battlefield for wounded survivors. Being a woman skilled with mechanics and machinery, she fitted him with the same type of device used to subdue the gods' power, and when the rage within Cyprian's body subsided, he also fell into a coma. The woman took him to a hospital in the center of Lumina, where he was to remain until he awakened. Centuries passed without war, and the city of Lumina and the LaVonte empire grew technologically advanced with the discovery of steam technology. It is now the year 303X, and the brothers have begun to awaken from their comas, and a new story now begins. Cyprian awakens, with no knowledge of who he his, save for the nametag around his neck that reads "Cyprian-Commander-3rd Battalion".

Personality: Cyprian is a very deep thinker, and is sometimes overly cautious.
He trusts no one unless given proof that he can without doubt. He can be very
sensitive at times, but he will never show it, as he is stubborn and believes that
emotional vulnerability is weakness. He has the heart and soul of a warrior, limitless
courage, and he will take any challenge and call any bluff. He lives for battle. In his
time before he lost his memory, he was a very manipulative, sadistic mastermind of war,
and some of his characteristics still remain. He knows what to say and when to say it to
get what he wants out of people, and will go to drastic measures to get what he wants.
he can tell who he can use and who is too strong-minded by nothing more than a look in
someone's eyes. He is neither good nor evil, he fights for what he wants or needs at the time,
and what is beneficial to him.

Appearance (either provide an image or a sufficient description):
Copper black hair, clean shaven face. Emerald green eyes, pale lunar-toned skin. He wears a gray tank top and slim fitted
light-denim jeans that cut off at the knees. The device that monitors and regulates his power was fitted to
him in the form of a small computer clipped at his waist, remotely controlling two metal ring reactors a little
larger than his hands in diameter, hanging from his waist at the sides.

If you want to sign up to play the role of one of the six remaining LaVonte Brothers, set your Origin as "LaVonte", and if I approve it, I will fill your name into one of the spaces below. We will begin when all six slots have been filled.

You can have up to three characters, but no one can RP more than one LaVonte, and once all the slots have been filled any others wishing to join will have to RP as Luminians.

It should be noted that a LaVonte, as he has the power of the gods at his fingertips, will have special abilities and powers that a Luminian will not. You don't have to include it in your template, just keep it in mind. If your character is a Luminian and you see someone RPing a LaVonte using special abilities, don't take it as your que to start using magic spells and things of that nature. Only a LaVonte has that priviledge. This is not a world where magic other than that of the Luminian gods exists.
