After thinking about it for about an hour, I've decided that this has more of an RP feel to it than just another battle. As the title says, the RP has a tournament setting. But it's not like normal tournaments, which will be explained later.
Plot: The year is 2050 AD. For the last 30 years the Novus Corporation, a military science organization (under the US, headed by Mr. E.X. Caliber), has been bringing together their plan to create the perfect soldier. Even through changes in the government administration, the Novus Corporation has managed to stay active in this plan. Having managed to clear out several hundreds of miles in Nevada, mostly through force, they've constructed a series of "Controlled Environment Domes", stretching over several hundred miles through the deserts of Nevada. Their plan for this: Gather the greatest warriors in the world in these Domes, and have them fight in a tournament. At the start of the tourney, the Corps' doctors will have given each competitor a physical, taking a DNA sample of them in the process. The best of these DNA samples would be formed into the "Ultimate Warrior", which would test its power in a battle against the top eight fighters. Also within the Domes, were other creations of Novus Corps, which lurked around every corner, waiting to attack the fighters.
Dome Environments Are:
Arena City: The central area of the arena complex. Made up of a main "downtown" area, the >
old city<, >
the Industrial Sector<, and suburbs.
>
tundra<
>
forest<
The desert around the domes is accessible, and fighters are held in bay an energy field.
>
lake<
Areas in the arena are reached via teleporters.
Rules:
The usual rules apply: No god-moding or power playing, and such.
Only a player can have his/her characters killed off.
4 character maximum per person.
If a character admits defeat in battle, or is killed off, then that character is out for the remainder of the RP. No new characters can be brought in to replace fallen ones. so if you have characters A B C D, and one or more them is out, then you can't replace them. When your characters are out, so are you.
Naturally, you can have your own characters fight.
Feel free to use previously made characters, or make new ones.
