The World Champion (Pokemon RP)

Yeah, I know pokemon died out with a good bit of people a while ba ck, but I still think the prospect of having six pocket monsters as they are referred to battling it out with others and capturing more and going on adventures is a cool idea if it was real. So I am giving people ( if they do not abuse it) the ability to have a pokemon team! However there are rules, but here is the small story line/goal thing:

All trainers have a dream of becoming a champion. There were examples in history with champions like Ash Ketchum, or Gary Oak. They were fine champions indeed, like Indigo Plateau (sp?) Champion, or ORange League Champion, yes all in their own rights.

However, no one thought of challenging, the World Champion. He was a young man known as Xavier Mythos (Zave for short). He had not been challenged in six years, ever since he became champion at the age of 15. He was now 21, and word was spreading that there were trainers wanting to challenge him so he sent out flyers across the world, to all lands, Kanto, Johto, (other one I forgot), and all the rest (considering there is probably more). The flyer simply read this:

" A word from your famed Pokemon Master World Champion, Xavier Mythos. He is giving all trainers and masters, be you a rookie, gym leader, veteran, whatever, a chance to battle him for the World Championship. This shall be held on the glorious Innaban Penninsula. Make it to Phoenix Stadium where the Battles shall be held!"


However, to get to the Stadium at the far edge of the large Penninsula, one would have to face challenges along the way, as that of Team Terra (team aqua, magma, lol) and the other bad forces along the way. Once at the end, they could indeed face the challenge of the mysterious Xavier, and maybe become World Champion...


Okay, now, first, lets get a rule straight

When you choose your team of six pokemon, that you CANNOT change anywhere in the rp, you ONLY GET ONE LEGENDARY!! I REPEAT ONLY ONE!! I wll post a list up here of them. The rest of course are not legendary.

Bio: She has hardly seen her home since she left it to start her journey. She and her dragonite have a strong bond since Dratini was her first pokemon. Their bond can't be broken and they are the best friends you could possibly find between a trainer and a pokemon. To her, becomign the champion is all she is living for right now, and to make sure her pokemon are safe and happy.

Age: 21
Gender: Male

Personality: A calmer boy, who is actually quite a nice person. However, he can have a cold demeanor when needed, and gets deadly serious in a pokebattle.

Bio: Raised by his parents, in a richer home, Xavier went to the best schools and had the best of everything. However, he did not like being filthy rich, it made him feel.. secluded from others. At the age of twelve, le left and grabbed his first pokemon, given to him by an old man. This pokemon, was only a low-level at the time, he was known as Rayquaza, the legendary Dragon of the Skies. He trained with him, and slowly built up, and took very good care of his pokemon, only coming back home to get some money when he needed it most, and had a couple of friends during his trips. However, at the age of fifteen, they went their seperate ways and he went to challenge the world champion. He won, fairly easily. He now travels the countryside, seeing new trainers, wondering if any are good enogh to challenge him... thing is he is disguised, to try and befriend some trainers.

OOC: Btw I would like to point out that my guy is disguised at the moment, he is NOT looking like the World Champion, and no one can jsut fly to the Stadium, it is impossible because one of the evil teams will blast you from the sky. Just thought I would let you know that, I mean, that would be unfair and ruin the adventure. We all are at the beginning to the Penninsula, like where it connects to the main land. Even ME.

OOC: Actually considering we have like five people, some coming in later than others, we can start now!


Zave walked slowly down the streets of Nikarokaro Town. This town was actualy more of a city, but founded as a town. It was on the border to the Innaban Penninsula. He smiled a bit, trainers of many shapes and sizes and origins were coming through here, to get to the stadium. He doubted many of them would make it, he chose this penninsula because it proved dedication, and talent. It was not that Innaban was a hazardous place, no, but it still had many high leveled pokemon in the wild and the dark teams were on the lose, Terra, Aqua, Magma, and Rocket. He hated to see people get hurt, but oh well, nothing he could help.

"Excuse me young man, do you know where I can buy a map that leads to Phoenix City where Phoenix Stadium is? I would like to go and try my luck against the Champ. I think I may make it. In fact, you look like a trainer, and that you might prove a challenge, would you like to battle?"

He smiled slowly and then told the guy to follow him to the Park Center, where a huge clearing was, and all sorts of trainers were practicing. Perfect place to show off without being found out. "Single pokemon at a time, no two-on-two. Go all six, once all six are gone, that person loses." The older man, who seemed about thirty, nodded. "Fair enough."

He smiled and nodded himself as he took out a pokeball. He would need only one pokemon for this fight. "Go Scizor!" Suddenly his scizor came out and said its name-call and stood there, honed and ready to go, as the man called out his pokemon. "This shall be easy, go Charizard!" The people that were watching gasped, knowing that charizard was fire, and Scizor was metal AND Bug, he would be killed!

The Charizard roared as he came into life from the ball. "Now, use Flame Thrower!" The Charizard roared and suddenly unleashed a huge blast of fire.

Zave smiled."Twister it Scizor" He did just that and sent it right back at charizard, who took it full on, like the brute he was. Meanwhile Scizor powered up a swords dance, and then slashed through Charizard once, knocking him out cold, as the older man looked dumbfounded. " That was my best pokemon! Who are you kid? Are you going to challenge the Champ?"

Zave smiled and shook his head. " Call me.. Zave... and yes, maybe I will. " He lad to lead them on.

Soon the battle was over, and Zave had never gotten past Scizor. He only had to use that one pokemon, as other trainers looked on in amazement, but the more veteran ones and gym leaders and such nodded with appreciation, smirking slightly as some of them were.

"Well that was fun... anyone else want to battle?" He looked around bemusedly.

He smiles and then shakes his head. "Does no one want to challenge me? Oh well.. adios." He then walks off, out of the park and starts to head out of the town, down into the Innaban Penninsula.

[Who Am I?]

Name: Fujwara (Or Fuji)
Age: 18
gender: Male.. Duh..

Personality: Strong willed but gullible. May look strong and bad tempered but actually he has the mind of a ten year old. All he wants is to train and eat. All the time. But, once you get to know him, you most proberly will make the best friend you will ever meet. Also, he will never give up on his Pokemon. Never.

Bio: He has had a happy and a problem free life. Born in Saffron (sp?) City in an apartment with his parents and a small Pikachu as a pet which is owned by his mother. Everyday before he became a trainer he would hang out with his friends in the resturant, eating the most satisfying food imaginable. Then he became a trainer. And, he was a fine one indeed. Travelling through the grass attempting to catch all the Pokemon possible. Then he got it, his first Pokemon, Abra which he obviously trained it, now it is an Alakazam. Now, he is willing to battle it out with Xavier and win.
