Moon Children

That is what this tribe of people call themselves, Moon Children, Children of the Moon, anything that deals with the moon. They are like indians though slightly different. They contain magic that is brought to them by the light of the moon. They worship the moon. Everyfull moon they have a feast at midnight known as, Aabta dibikaag Hashi( a mix of Ojibwe and Choctaw, Aabta dibikaag , midnight, hashi, moon, there fore making Midnight of the Moon.). A prophecy has been made for centuries, now is when it comes true. Six of the Hatka Oki (white water) tribe shall be the chosen ones to be the bringers of peace. But must endure a long hard journey to do so.(i'll be writing this prophecy on my free time guys^.^)

except her hair is black and her eyes are a strange blue color. the feathers she wears are red tailed hawk feathers. her skin is tanned.
personality: quiet and shy. She stays away from mostly everyone but her spirits run high. Once you get to know her well she chers up and she likes to laugh.
background: She is one of the sacred dancers during the Aabta dibikaag Hashi. The moves and steps she does are complicated and takes years to learn but she learned them in a few months.
weapon(s): two daggers strapped to her legs, she can use the bow and arrow.

personality: Mute, or maybe just doesn't like to talk. Always tries to help people to cheer up and smile as much as possible.
background: Ever since she was young, she was always teased as being a girl who always had her hopes too high. She was one of the "lunar maidens" in the Aabta dibikaag Hashi, but was the youngest. She was able to learn in light magic in healing when a year and a half passed.

Personality: Zitkala has the habit of being very outright with his thoughts, therefore hurting people's feelings without intentionally meaning to. He has a very short temper, but is happy most of the time. Just make sure you don't annoy him.
Background: As a child, Zitkala was taught the 'way of the bird' as to understanding the speech of a bird, being a bird yourself. He is use to being very free, he does not like to be couped up in small places. Perhaps this is why he was trained so.

background: She's always been mischevious as a child. Elders see her as a trouble maker. Her antics were creative and her responses ambigioutous. Children were advised not to be influenced by her. Her parents struggle to hold hope for her. She takes precision and passion in whatever she does. Though she's matured from pranks and antics, her against-the-grain opinions aren't welcomed. After punishments, she's learned not to be quite so outspoken about them. She wears her trade-marked black feathers proudly and plans on leaving the tribe for a new life one day.

Kachina finished tying an anklet on around her bare abkle before she stood up. She touched up her outfit that was all white deer skin. Tonight was the feast and she was being one of the moon dancers in it. The pressure was mounting high and it gave her the chills. You couldn't heal nerves like this. She bit her lower lip and went over the moves in her head again. The beat of the drums in there to. It was overpowering and made you want to dance.

Personality: Strong willed but gullible about things. Also, is very kind; even to strangers. He will protect things dear to him, and won't give up. Never.

Background: Not much has happened during his lifetime. No trouble at all. Except for the few arguments he had with his father. But, most of the time they would usually get along. He decided to train to become a master user with a sword. But, he is still a long way from mastering it.

Weapon: The weapon in the pic.. Or in other words, a samurai sword.

Magic: Can speak with the animals of nature.. But, if he concentrates hard enough he may be able control an animal; but controlling them may make him exhausted.

Exiting her hut she looked at the sun setting and nerves really began to kick in. HEr stomach was churning now and she found herself something to do so she would keep them off. She was helping babysit some of the kids while their parents went off to help with prepreations for Aabta dibikaag Hashi. The beads off her skirt clanged together gently with each stepp, bells hung around her ankles for tonights dance also. Her black hair was partly braided, only certain strands though also with beads decorating them. Hours later the bonfire was lit and coals were scattered around it. Waiting for her, she could feel their spirit withen them waiting. The fire lived for nothing but just to eat and fill its belly that was a bottomless pit only to die if it didn't eat. It was full of greed and spirit.

Wicapi Wakan walked along the dirt road having feathers for costumes for other spiritual dancers. She watched the site of people passing by and being excited for the event going to happen. Seeing some kids who waved at her, she smiled and waved back. The Lunar Maiden continued walking and spotted Kachina.
She slowly walked over to the dancer, "...Are you excited to dance?" She asked looking at Kachina with a little smile.
