Our Dearest Friends of Kumo,

Danzou. The leader of ANBU’s Root Division. Or at least, he was leader until twenty years ago when he suddenly disappeared without a trace. His successor? None other than Uchiha Sasuke.
I know, I know. That sounds a bit far-fetched. Allow me to tell you the whole story.

It was all because of that damn Orochimaru. Despite the efforts of many, he finally managed to take over Sasuke’s body twenty one years ago. Pity, he would’ve been a good soldier in the civil war that Orochimaru caused. You heard right. Civil war.

Why is there a civil war? I don’t know why, but half of Konoha suddenly decided to join Orochimaru. Weird, huh? All I know is that they’re all fanatically loyal to him. We’ve had assistance from Sand and our other allies, but some of them are aiding Orochimaru.

Naruto-sama isn’t doing so well either. He’s been in the hospital for weeks. That Hokage better get better before the new Akatsuki tries anything.

Back to our first question: why the hell is Orochimaru/Sasuke leader of Root? Well, it was Root that was first to join him, so it only made sense. More than half the ANBU is on his side now. And yeah, Root is pretty much all powerful over at Black Flame.

Konoha’s experiencing a siege right now and we’re running out of reinforcements, so yeah, I’d appreciate it if you kinda came to help us before we’re all killed.

Current Events: Twenty years after Shippuuden in an alternate universe of Naruto. The Fire Country is under civil war. It has been separated into two regions: Green Flame, which includes Konoha, and Black Flame, which is everything controlled by Orochimaru/Sasuke. Various other villages have taken their sides. Here’s some info for your starting positions.

-Shinobi that have sided with Green Flame should be in Konoha. It is currently under siege by Black Flame forces. The forces of Black should arrive at the village after sunset. Take note that this is the second round of the siege.

-Black Flame forces should be camped a little way from Konoha, waiting for darkness to fall.

-Kumo is currently deciding on which side they should choose.

-There are two Akatsuki members watching somewhere from the sidelines. They see this as a perfect chance to capture Naruto.

-There is only one aim for the Black Flame forces: ravage the village and kill Naruto. Be reminded that Green Flame is outnumbered, unless aided by Kumo.

Bijuu: Riker's Bijuu is a Three-Tailed Shadow Wolf (Shadow in this case meaning black, and referring to its powers) this Bijuu is one that increases the already natural abilities that Riker has but also gives him new and more powerful abilities, many of which he has yet to discover or attempt.

Bio: Riker is the new leader of the Demon Clan, he inherited the title only recently after his fathers death. Now this fun loving young adult must quickly show the other members that he is a capable leader. His lack of experience is a disadvantage in trying to convince the other Clan members to aid the Green flame alliance.
He is determined to make his Clan fight, no matter what he has to do to convince them. He is a fighter, above all else, and will allow no one to dishonor his village or his Clan. He posses great strength despite his less convincing appearance. He likes to wonder the roofs of the village at night looking at the stars.
Personality: determined, smart and kind. Riker is very level headed (most of the time), he has a temper, but he tries very hard to control it. He is very stubborn, even when he’s wrong.

Shadow guardian (Creates a guardian for Riker when he is hurt, only knows defensive maneuvers)

Bio: After lounging within the depths of Konoha Territory Border, Brol spots a few oddly familar ninja attacking fellow scouters. Brol dashed as fast as he could to warn the Hokage but was ambushed by the Leader himself, Orochimaru or rather his former self. Orochimaru then informed Brol of his plan for the Civil War. He thought, Why would someone trust a simple Genin like this kid.

Brol later on was found almost dead was was rushed to the infirmary. It wasn't weeks until Brol had enough strength to warn the Hokage about the terrible news unfortunately it was too late, The conspiracy was already under way. Still wounded, Brol ran away from the Infirmary, he wants to make sure that his failed mission to protect the Village would be made up for the cost of his own life.

Personality: Brol is very to himself and would rather be in the frontlines and fight than be in the back and fool around by talking to his friends. He rather likes to talk to people one-on-one but in groups he becomes arrogant and alittle pissed.

Weapon(s): None.

-Shadow Puppet: Ability to control opponent's shadow, thus controlling the opponent.
-Time Stopper: Ability to literally stop time.
-Time Stopper [lvl 2] :Ability to not only stop time but to see what happens 20 seconds ahead of the stopped period.
-Time Stopper [Lvl 3] : Critical move, Ability to stop time, see two minutes ahead, and if wanted leave opponent and self in stopped time, risk: Cannot get out of of ability, will be stuck in frozen time forever under certain circumstances.
-Shadow Stalker: Ability to use owner's shadow and duplicate self.
-Shadow Clone: Ability to make a copy of one's self, cuts chakra in half every time of usage.
-Mass Shadow Clone: Ability to mass duplicate copys of owner, uses all Chakra, charka build up gets slower after usage.
-Shadow Ball: Ability to use owner's shadow to create a solid, dense ball to either attack or defend self, cuts chakra in half after a long period of usage.

Appearance: His head is covered in messy black hair. He also has grey eyes and a slightly narrow cheekbone. He wears a black shirt and a black vest and gloves on his hands. His arms and legs are bandaged, and he wears his forehead protector around his neck. His shoes are boots made for running and jumping. Complexion is fair, height is 5’9” and weight is 135.

Clan/Bloodline: The Mahootsukai clan. A clan that is small in numbers, but large in power. Their primary fighting style comes from wind style ninjutsu. They can manipulate the wind in any way that they want (like how Gaara would control sand) and in turn create devastating techniques. They have a weakness in taijutsu though.

Element: Wind

Bio: Kazemaru grew up within the center of his clan. He learned to use the wind at the age of five, and had already learned wind jutsus by seven. He’d even created a few himself. He was definitely one of the more talented shinobi in his clan. He remains loyal to Konoha, although he feels there is a greater purpose for his existence.

People use to make fun of him because his skills in taijutsu were poor. They stopped when they realized what he could do with the wind. Sometimes, they were even scared of him. That was easily remedied by his great sense of humor and he made many friends. But sometimes he feels bored with his life, and he wants some adventure, and deep down, to get stronger.

He became a Chuunin at age fifteen and two years later, he still defends the village against the enemy as a Jounin

Personality: He has a love of humor, and often insults and teases his opponents. But when it comes to defending his village, he gets serious. He hates it when betrayal happens, and would love to take down the Black Flame. Akatsuki he has nothing against, but he’s willing to fight them as well. He’s calm and likes to think ahead.

Kihonteki Kaze Kuchiyose (Basic Gust Summoning) – A simple technique that allows Kazemaru to summon a gust of wind from any direction of medium strength. Takes up very little chakra. C rank

Kyori Kaze no jutsu (Distancing Gust) – Kazemaru gathers air in his lungs and combines it with his chakra. He blows it out of his mouth, and a very strong gust of wind comes out, not only blowing away his enemy many meters away, but also clearing a forested area of its trees and plants. C rank

Shintai Musubimasu no jutsu (Gust of Body Binding) – Very strong gusts of wind blow in from all directions, targeting the enemy. The enemy, no matter which way he tries to move, will always be pushed back a constant column of wind that will keep blowing so long as Kazemaru wills it. This will in turn immobilize the enemy, preventing him from moving anywhere, so that Kazemaru can proceed with another attack. A rank

Tsukamu Kaze (Grasping Gale) – A strong gale, mixed with chakra, will form into a hand of air and grab the enemy. The hand of air will squeeze until the enemy has suffocated, or Kazemaru is attacked. The grip is firm and cannot be broken unless Kazemaru is attacked. B rank

Fukimasu Tama – Kazemaru begins to make a motion with his hands, as if creating a snowball. A large quantity of densely packed air, mixed in with chakra, will form in his palm as an orb. Kazemaru will then shoot out his arms, releasing the orb. The orb will speed towards the enemy and send him flying back roughly fifty meters, though the impact of the orb will not inflict physical damage. B rank

Arashi Kobushi no jutsu (Singing Fist of the Storm) – This technique is executed similarly to the Grasping Gale, except it will form into a fist that, when impacted with the enemy, will hurt them as if they had been hit with a boulder, and also send them flying a few meters. The fist can be dodged, but it is impossible to block. B rank

Arashi Ishi no jutsu (Hurricane’s Will) – Kazemaru simply gathers a strong gale that can lift an object the size of a house and then hurl it at the enemy. This drains a lot of chakra though, and if Kazemaru is attacked or distracted, then the object will fall. The chakra drainage also depends on the size of the object or person. A rank

Substitution – a very simple technique that replaces Kazemaru with a grey log when he is hit. Also puts him right behind the enemy. D rank

Oni Arashi no jutsu (Demonic Tempest) – A tornado is conjured from Kazemaru’s very palms. It is combined with chakra, so it has some cutting properties that can shear through wood. The tornado can be deadly, but it only lasts a few minutes. A rank

Hyaku Kunaikaze no jutsu (Gale of a Hundred Knives) – A gale that is combined with chakra and infused with the properties of a knife so that it can cut through anything it hits, except for metal. Getting hit by this wind is the equivalent of having one hundred knives thrown at you. A rank

Gohyaku Kunaikaze no jutsu (Gale of Five Hundred Knives) – same as the previously listed technique, except it is the equivalent of being hit by five hundred knives instead of one hundred. A rank

Kaze Katana no jutsu (Wind Blade) – a small gust of wind that turns into a sword of air that will tear right through the enemy. The sword of air speeds toward the enemy in such a way that is virtually impossible to dodge. But it can be blocked by metal. B rank

Kaze bunshin no jutsu (Wind clone) – creates a maximum of five clones of Kazemaru. Each clone is composed of a constantly swirling gust of wind that is molded with chakra. The clones are solid, but can only perform taijutsu and cannot control the wind themselves. Kazemaru usually uses this for pranks rather than fighting. When the clone is destroyed, gusts of wind will burst out and tear the enemies’ flesh. B rank

Arashi Norite no jutsu (Storm Rider) – Kazemaru rides on a gentle wind that will carry him wherever he wants. However it takes up much chakra and only lasts half an hour. The wind will carry him faster than any ninja can run. A rank

Tsukaihatasu Kaze no jutsu (Devouring Wind) – A gust of wind that pulls anything the size of a boulder towards Kazemaru. If Kazemaru can’t get to the enemy, then the enemy will just come to him. It takes quite a bit of chakra to maintain, depending on the size of the thing or person. A rank

Kaze Bunshin Bakuhatsu (Wind clone explosion) – all five of Kazemaru’s bunshins will get close to the enemy and self destruct, causing gusts of wind to rip through the enemies’ flesh. B rank

Taijutsu – None

Genjutsu – Transformation – allows Kazemaru to transform into practically anything. He only uses it for pranks. D rank

Age: Twenty-five

Gender: Male

Village: Konoha

Appearance: He has long, black hair like Madara's. In fact, the idea was to impersonate Madara, but that plan had failed, though the hair-do stayed. Zurugamaru's skin is slightly tanned and his nose is like a hawk's. His eyes are a piercing yellow. A scar runs from his eyelid to his nose. He wears a strange grey robe with blue trimming, and underneath he has black pants and a black vest. He also wears gloves. His shoulders are slightly wider than usual.

Rank: Somewhat higher than Jounin

Specialized Rank: S-ranked criminal

Side: Black Flame

Clan/Bloodline: Kagegan - Most shinobi in Zurugamaru’s clan have this newly created ability. These eyes are violet and the pupils are small. They can see through any darkness as well as the chakra circulatory systems and internal organs. They also have the ability to see things move in a slower manner, providing an easier parry. But perhaps the Kagegan's most useful ability is striking fear into the enemy's hearts. The opponent will suddenly feel ridiculously frightened and thus their senses become clouded. While in the midst of this fright, the Kagegan user will proceed with a painful genjustsu. What the genjutsu is depends on the user. Of course, an ability of such power has negative effects. After the genjutsu is over, Kagegan cannot be used for six hours and the user is blinded for ten minutes. Shinobi of Zurugamaru’s clan don’t really care for this effect. Usually the enemy is already dead with fright by the end of the genjutsu, or at least unconscious.

Element: Fire, Water, Darkness.

Bio: Zurugamaru excelled as a young ninja. He was top in his class. A ninja like him had not been seen since Itachi, and a few even consider him greater than Itachi, although this is untrue. He enshrouded himself with pride and became conceited of his skills. It eventually went to his head and he became cocky. He considered everyone inferior and it was true. He beat everyone he challenged, even a Jounin once, though it was a close fight.

It all changed when he was defeated by a strange shinobi whose name remained concealed. As Zurugamaru was lying on the ground, limp with pain, the shinobi whispered in his ear.

You have potential. I suggest leaving the village and getting stronger. There are many truths in this world, truths that you deserve to learn. Unless…you’re too weak.

This got Zurugamaru mad. After the shinobi left, he began to make plans over the next few years. He heard stories of the legendary Orochimaru and Akatsuki, and his power hunger grew. He finally ran away and has secretly been working with Orochimaru for the last ten years. His ambitions remain concealed. Currently he is commander of the siege on Konoha.

Personality: He is usually calm, but his arrogance is easy to notice. He calls fighting a “game” and always thinks he’ll win, which is what happens. He’ll stop at nothing to gain power. You could very well say that his mindset is much like that of Orochimaru’s. In fact, Zurugamaru admires him.
Weapon(s): Kusanagi’s Brother – Similar to the legendary sword that is used by Orochimaru. Rather than summoning it from a snake’s mouth, he can actually hold it and strap it on his back. It has mysterious power, one which is that it can be controlled with telepathy and can multiply itself.

Serrated Kunai – a special type of kunai that has serrated edges, perfect for tearing through organs and causing extensive damage.

Techniques:

1.Akumu Beeru no jutsu (Veil of Nightmares): A pitch black dome surround the area for fifty yards, encasing Zurugamaru and his opponent in a field of darkness. The dome is impenetrable from the outside or the inside. If conjured during the night, it is impossible to dispel, but during daylight it can be destroyed with a very bright light, like the sun. Usually Zurugamaru never uses it during daylight, unless it’s a cloudy day. A-rank

2.Dark Kusanagi: Black chakra made of pure shadows encases Kusanagi, increasing the power of the strike. The victim also experiences painful stinging after the strike, fogged senses, and dimmed vision. The durability of the side effects will depend on the amount of chakra injected into the opponent. B-Rank

3.Optic Mist: Zurugamaru will touch the eyelids of the opponent gently. The vision of the opponent will begin to falter and begin to see illusion of mist everywhere, thus rendering navigation impossible. The durability of the technique depends on the amount of time Zurugamaru rested his fingers on the eyelids of the opponent. B-rank

4.Shadow Spear: By concentrating a lot of chakra into his palm, he is able to create a spear of shadows, which not only cause pain like a real spear but cause after effects like that of Dark Kusanagi. The effects will remain so long as the spear remains embedded in the person. A-rank

5.Fire Dragon Missile – After the required hand seals, Zurugamaru cups his hands over his mouth, blows, and a dragon made of fire will emerge, speeding towards the enemy and causing impact and burn damage. A-rank

6.Water Dragon Missile – similar to the Fire Dragon missile, but made of water. The opponent will die of drowning if not by impact. A-rank

7.Grasp of Water – Water will form into a hand that will suffocate the opponent or drown it. Cannot be escaped once captured. A-rank


8.Flaming Kusanagi – same as Dark Kusanagi, except the aura is of fire. It slices through the enemy, causing burn damage to the innards. B-rank

9.Rapid Water Gusts – With simple gestures of pushing his hands forward, orbs of water will shoot from Zurugamaru’s palms at a fast pace, barraging the opponent with a flurry attacks. Can cause major bone damage. C-rank.


10.Water Release: Exploding Water Shockwave – A lake’s worth of water shoots out of Zurugamaru’s mouth, creating a vast expanse of water to use for attacks. A rank


11.Flaming Geyser – After the required hand seals, magma will shoot out from the earth’s mantle, hitting the enemy with intense power and heat. A rank

12. Dark Kage Bunshin – similar to the famed Kage Bunshin, except the bunshins are darker in color and when they are destroyed, tendrils of darkness will burst out and grab the enemy bit their limbs, preventing movement. B rank.

13. Kusanagi Bunshins – creates clones of Kusanagi that in turn can be manipulated. They can impale the enemy, but they have no side effects and disappear upon impact, although it still leaves a wound. B rank

14. Kuchiyose No Jutsu – A summoning technique that Zurugamaru can use with almost any scroll. A rank

15. Water Prison Jutsu – traps the enemy in a large sphere of water. So long as Zurugamaru is continuously maintaining the sphere, the neemy will remain trapped. This technique, however, leaves him vulnerable to attack, although a bunshin can use it. B rank

16. Shadow Dragon Missile – similar to fire and water, but the damage is much greater. If the enemy does not die from impact, it will die from the poison and organ damage. A rank

Village: Konoha/Leaf
Appearance: Basically exactly like Naruto except a bit shorter, Green hair that is a bit more wilder, a black unzipped jacket with a gray T-shirt underneath, and black pants.
Bijuu: A two winged angel wolf, much like kyuubi, whom dislikes his host and shows much aggression when his power is exerted though his attitude is much calmer than Kyuubi seeing as he's an angel beast. Like Naruto, Sothe can release it's chakra to help him perform jutsu's or help him in battles, as well as heal hi sowunds faster than normal people and giving hm a lot more chakra. The reason it's in Sothe is a mistake. A man was aiming at another boy but Sothe tripped and got in the way of the sealing, but not knowing until elders of the village told him. The angel knows of Kyubbi and decides not to go against him. It's chakra is a silverish color.

Bio: At first, Sothe never really cared for Shinobi or Ninjas. Already an orphan for as lng as he can remember, he never really had friends. But he became friends with a girl named Meirei and her dream was to become Hokage. She would tell him the stories of Naruto and how he rose to Hokage this amazed him. She would tell him all her secrets and dreams though he was only five. She then was killed by a bunch of rouge ninja that spared his life. He mourned for her that night. Then he swore to become Hokage and fulfill her dream for her. He now fights for Konoha so that they would be free of tyranny.
Personality: He acts a lot like Naruto, taking after his personality, from the stories he's heard.
