Alright, go easy on me: this is my first time doing this sort of thing. Okay, the setting is a fantasy world called Ilmath, which is in a great chaotic upheaval. It's fantasy, but I'm trying to make it unlike D&D. I haven't made the actual thread yet, because I'm waiting to see how many people join. (probably none )

This world...it has undergone so many changes in only the past few years. It seems that only yesterday I was sitting in my library, discussing some unimportant matter with my colleagues. But that was so very long ago, considering all that has taken place. The Cult of Morgidaaz is once again active, spreading their dark beliefs and corrupting souls. The Dragons, long thought dead, have returned, ravaging the land and smiting all who oppose. The Priests and Priestesses of Amantiri, our so-called savior, have all been slain by the shades, foul demonic servants of Morgidaaz. All of this has caused a great disturbance in all the races of Ilmath; Orcs migrate from their mountain holes, the dwarves, who usually keep to themselves, are declaring war upon all others, the elves of light have seemingly disappeared, save a small number, and humans are caught between both sides, forced to make a decision, or die. And that list does not even include any of the minor races: Halflings, gnomes, dark-elves, wyrms....they are countless! It seems that we must all make a stand now for what we believe is right, or rather, which side we think has the highest chances of victory. You, as well, must answer this call, or be swept up in the wars to follow.

Here's mine:

Name: Arghannus Valrahir
Age: 266
Race: Dark-Elf
Gender: Male
Occupation: Sorcerer
Weapon: A staff, though he usually just casts spells.
Physical Description: Tall (6'5"), thin, sliver hair, red eyes, long and spindly fingers, black and red robes.
Personality: Neutral, secretive, and calm. Occasionally, he will flare up, but he usually doesn't show very much emotion, if any, pride and confidence.
Background: Arghannus left Dark-Elf society to pursue his own ambitions, instead of what he was assigned by the elders. He gets even more quiet than usual if the topic comes up, and looks down upon other dark-elves who are still completely devoted to their rituals and customs. Because hhe was able to escape form the shackles of his heritage, Arghannus has become one of the greatest sorcerers in history, and is still gaining knowledge and power. However, he has not fought in many decades. Nonetheless, he is a dangerous foe and a valuable ally.

Weapon: A long, blue staff with an orb at the top that glows faintly when its weilder casts a spell.

Physical Description: Like all Orcs, he is quite tall. He is at least seven feet in height, and is fairly muscular. He is bald, and he is usually seen wearing a dark blue robe over simple cloth clothing.

Personality: Slightly irrititable, although he is surprisingly kind- a rare quality for an Orc. He is slightly reserved and he savors peace. Much disliked by other Orcs due to his gentle disposition.

Background: Eltiri is one of the few Orc sorcerers in the world, an outcast in his entire race. Orcs are usually fierce warriors that are known for their brutality. Eltiri, always reading or practicing magic, has always been looked upon as weak. Now, however, Eltiri has become a mighty sorcerer that could defeat almost any of the Orcs that mocked him. He tries now to obtain peace in such troubling times, but Orcs have always been seen as ruthless and violent-making this task truly difficult.

Weapon: Gloves. All her power goes into my gloves. Healing, magic, elements, all of it. The gloves are are elbow length, red with an emerald, surrounded with gold bindings on the each wrist.


Physical Description: Has long, elbow length, white hair. is 5'3". Knee high boots. Almost always has a black hooded robe on. Golden eyes. And a small, heart shaped face. Several facial piercings, 3 on the lip, 2 on the nose, 5 on the eyebrows.

Personality: Messy. Quite. Determined. Unorganized. Is one of the nicest being you'll ever come across.

Background: Moday lives for helping others. She is determined to become the most amazing priest in history. After a hard day of training and practicing magic or battle techniques, Moday never slept. She was out in the fields practicing 24/7. Only stopping to eat and sleep, which she got very little of. Moday now is one of the greatest priests of all time, and is ready to do whatever she can to make this world peaceful again.

Weapon: A blood red Katana and iron claws these weapons are his prized possessions they are the only things he owns.

Physical Description: Is 5'6" has slicked back blond hair, his eyes are stained red from the blood of a cursed priest. Wears black leather boots, a torn cloth shirt and black leather pants. Has an expressionless face.

Personality: Calm and collected never shares his emotions with anyone. fights only when he has to. Has little to say about anything.

Background: The only thing he remembers about his past is the night he killed the priest of his village and was consequently banished, since then he has strived to kill all the priests of the Morgidaaz. Doesn't care if he dies in the end as long as he takes all the leaders of the cult with him.

Occupation: Dragon Slayer

Weapon: A sword forged from pure diamond. Has a white glow to it when the sun hits it, but in the dark it has a red tint from the dragons blood.

Physical Description: Zieth is 5'9" and fairly muscular. His hair is of a medium length and falls over covering his face. When his face isn't covered his dark green eyes are noticable and fairly mesmorizing. He wears an old cloth cloak which is ripped and burned from his job. Under his cloak he wears leather armour, to help with the heat from fire and protect him to a degree. He has a scar acrossed his face from his first dragon, the only one to scar him.

Personality: Zieth is very laid back, and calm. He will look any challenge in the face and laugh at it. He is a risk taker, fighting off the strongest of enemies and protecting the weaker people. He is not afraid to put his own life on the line to save a complete strangers. He is very nice and friendly. He will give any one a chance until they give him a reason not to.

Background (keep it brief): Zieth grew up watching his father train. His father was a noble man, but was fiercly murdered while he was helping Zieth's mother. From that day on, Zieth began to train. He wanted to be better than the best. He wanted to be able to protect his family and friends. When Zieth finally got to the point where he could protect his friends and family, the small town he grew up in got burnt down. He was the only one to survive the horrible disaster. Now he walks the world protecting people, and he hunts the newly awaken dragons just so he can relive the intensity of that day.

Physical Description: Eryc has purple skin and pointy ears, long spindly fingers and big dark blue eyes. He is about 6'0 tall and will usually wear a white robe.

Personality: Eryc is quiet and doesn't speak his mind. He is a good friend and ally to have although he keeps to himself. When it comes to fighting however, he will do whatever it takes to win.

Background: Eryc is one of the greatest sorcerers that have ever lived. Despite his quiet demeanor there is a sense of power about him. He is young and still has a ways to go, but his future is looking bright. Eryc works hard to keep up his skills, and right now his duty is to train other light elves with magical power to fight. That way they'll be ready no matter what happens.

Personality: She can be very girly. She will stand up for what she thinks is right. When she gets mad I suggest get out of her way. She is very true to her friends. Sometimed she can get mad really esay.

Background: Lerane has watch many people that she has known die while going to fight for their rights. Her town was distroyed yet she was the only live from it. She swore that she would take revenge on what that life has done to her and she is willing to start early to make a big impack.
