The Wutai-ShinRa War...

Being the first major conflict between a corporate entity and a full-sized nation, the War was generally regarded as the largest and most costly war ever, but not in terms of lives. No, the War had not take as many lives of ShinRa members as may had thought although the amount of life lost on the Wutai's side was enough to make it surrender. The end of the War happened by a whimper and not a bang as many had wanted.

The elite ShinRa combat unit SOLDIER, made this possible. First created as a byproduct of the Jenova Project, SOLDIERs were known as the best of the best throughout the world and surpassed even the Turks in combat. A strong person, both physically and mentally, was needed to become a SOLDIER. The infusions of Mako and Jenova cells required a lot of fitness. Many failed and washed out from the program but managed to land places in other ShinRa operations like Special Ops and the ShinRa Military Police. SOLDIERs were divided into three groups: 1st Class being the best, 2nd Class being above average and 3rd Class being average. The equipment and Materia useable by the person depended on their Class with 1st being able to use a wide range while 3rd Class was limited to 2 from a select list

However, sometimes after the war, a rouge 1st Class SOLDIER known as Genesis Rhapsodos had learned the truth about himself. He had been created from Project G, a sub project of Project Jenova. He and fellow SOLDIER, Angeal Hewley, were both products of Project G, the project itself being a rival to Project S that had produced Sephiorth. With this knowledge in his hands, Genesis convinced Angeal to leave ShinRa but not to join him. Genesis was able to cause a large portion of 2nd and 3rd Class SOLDIERs to leave with him and start a fresh in the north of the world.

Away from the world, Genesis discovered several new abilities. The most powerful and one that gave a big advantage was the power to create Copies of himself. Although relative weak compred to himself, these Copies gave the profect army to wage war against ShinRa. Using the SOLDIERs he had bought with him, Genesis was able to create a large army of Copies. Genesis delcared war on the ShinRa Corporation. He hoped to cause the Planet even more trouble. It worked. ShinRa turned SOLDIERs against SOLDIERs and launched themselves into action against the Genesis Army. With ShinRa's large empire and willing SOLDIERs, Genesis looked to be beat. However, he had managed to equip all his Copies with Materia and had even managed to produce several unique copies that differed in appearence and power. These became the commanders of his army.

With this new evil now threatening the Planet, it's up to the SOLDIERs of today to defeat this threat. However, they must also deal with the civilian population that has sided with Genesis and even taken up arms against ShinRa. Can the SOLDIERs, with help from Sephiroth and Zack Fair, stop Genesis before it's too late? And what does Angeal say all this?

So begins the Genesis War...

This is an AU RPG that takes place a little after the Wutai War. Sephiroth is yet to go insane and Genesis has become a warlord with an army of his Copies and these mysertious unique Copies. Angeal has disappeared. Zack Fair has became a 1st Class SOLDIER and instructs the new SOLDIERs that fight in the war.

Three sides will be playable: ShinRa, that includes positions in the Turks and SOLDIER; Genesis' Army, that allows you to play as a Genesis Copy or a Unique Copy; Neutral/Angeal Side, players who take the Angeal side will remain in the shadows until I say that the word to strike.

People like Zack, Cloud, Rude, Reno and other SOLDIERs and Turks mentioned in Crisis and other prelude FFVII titles are playable. Everyone willing to be a SOLDIER cannot be 1st Class, most will have to be 2nd or even 3rd Class. 1st Class will only be given to those who show themselves to be good in the RP and their character will get an IC promotion. There are only 5 Unique Copies and once they are gone they are gone. Also there is only 3 open Turk spots and like Unique Copy spots, once they're gone they are gone. Sephiroth, Genesis and Angeal will be major NPCs.

5. Cussing is allowed to a point. Keep it down to a minimum and no big cuss words.

Hey Soldier, it's been a while! I'm in. I'd like to be SOLDIER, but I'll probably be a Turk- I got to thinking, and I realized I don't think it's possible to make a SOLDIER more awesome than Zack, so I don't know what I'd do as one. I'll edit this with an app later.

Bio: Not too long ago, Hollander began creating the Genesis clones. One of the first clones was imperfect, because his hair was different colored and his voice was different. Hollander had planned to kill him, but Genesis ordered him not too. Genesis felt something special inside him, something powerful. So, Genesis named him Exitus, and even accepted him as a "brother."

Over the next year, Genesis trained Exitus and made him into the ultimate Genesis copy, as close as one could get to the original Genesis. Exitus followed Genesis everywhere he went. He was extremly loyal to Genesis and would kill anyone who dared try to harm him. Exitus was an increable clone.

Now, the time has come for Exitus to prove his worth to Genesis. With an army behind the two, their goal is clear: kill SOLDIER. Or so Exitus knows. Because even brothers keep secrets from each other...

Bio: Born in a same town as Cloud Strife, Connor has known Cloud for a while and both had become good friends while they grew up. As Cloud started to talk about joining SOLDIER, the young boy started to influence Connor into joining as well. Aftr a few weeks of listening to Cloud, Connor said he would join up for Basic with him. Both boys travelled to Midgar, a jounrey that took them alot of effort and energy to complete, as to apply for positions in the Basic SOLDIER Traning. Connor proved to be fit both physically and mentally and was top of his class after a few months of training.

During his time in Omega Squad, he met Zeke James Alexander, a fellow recuit and supposely the strongest recuit of the squad. Zeke disliked Connor for both his academic and physical ability and loved to insult Connor whenever he got the chance. Connor took no notice but was after Zeke started picking on Cloud that he actually done something about it. Offering Zeke the chance to settle their differences in the ring, both of these strong young men took the gautlet up against the other. The young man proved too quick and powerful for Zeke and he had knocked the wind out of the fellow recuit within two to three hits. Zeke gave up and argeed to leave Connor and Cloud alone. Connor seemed happy with his offer and took it.

Ultimately the time for Mako Infusion came around and Connor prepared himself to be injected with the liquid form of the substance. Connor took well to the infusion but like many others he had to rest for a while. It was during his week off that he learned that Cloud had failed for SOLDIER due to his bad reaction to the small amount of liquid Mako. Connor felt sorry for his friend but knew he could get a job in some department like Special Forces or the Military Police due to his excellant fitness and stamia.

Connor continued a career in SOLDIER and took part in the Wutai War. He was promoted to 2nd Class and was given a further boost from a special Mako infusion. Unbeknowest to Connor, the Mako was made up for special Mako cells from the G and S Projects. Connor did not take well to the Mako and was bed ridden for several days, he did not gain the same amount of power as Genesis or Sephiroth but gained wings, one white and one black. He took some time getting used to summoning them and dismissing but once he had learned this he was able to fully use them to fly short distances. Using them for prolonged times caused Connor to become weak and feeble and required him to rest. His status as a hybird was left out of all his documents and no one but Connor and ShinRa knew of his new power. A few months after returning to duty, Connor was sent to the Midgar to be be briefed on the current mission and to be put into a squad of SOLDIERs before departing to find Genesis.

Bio: Draco has never really been one to pick a fight unless absolutely necessary, such as in this case. He joined SOLDIER 3 years ago and now is 2nd class. He carries a large blade around with him which was given to him from a close friend whom was a blacksmith when he suceeded in becoming a SOLDIER. It seems heavy, but Draco has the upper body strength to swing it around like it's nothing.

It also has the ability to divide into 2 seperate blades for quick attacks and combos, but with less damage per hit. Draco originally joined to earn money for his mother since his dad died around 4 years ago, also a SOLDIER, leaving Draco to support his mother financially. With the rising threat of Genesis and his army looming over Midgar, Draco takes his blade in hand and looks to help defeat the crazed warlord and bring peace once again to the planet.

He joined SOLDIER 3 years ago and now is 2nd class. He carries a large blade around with him which was given to him from a close friend whom was a blacksmith when he suceeded in becoming a SOLDIER. It seems heavy, but Draco has the upper body strength to swing it around like it's nothing. It also has the ability to divide into 2 seperate blades for quick attacks and combos, but with less damage per hit. Draco originally joined to earn money for his mother since his dad died around 4 years ago, also a SOLDIER, leaving Draco to support his mother financially. With the rising threat of Genesis and his army looming over Midgar, Draco takes his blade in hand and looks to help defeat the crazed warlord and bring peace once again to the planet.
