I'll have a template up by Friday. The last day of school for me is tomorrow and I still have some stuff to do.

Appearance: Steve has blue eyes, short black hair, and pale white skin. He is muscular so he is very strong. He is about 5'9 in height. He will usually wear a white t-shirt, khaki pants, and white sneakers when he isn't in uniform. He is supposed to wear glasses, but chooses to wear contacts in stead.

Magic: Steve is proficient in all of the elements of fire, ice, wind, and water. He also knows how to heal.

Personality: Steve is very quiet. He is really smart and doesn't usually tend to express himself that much. There is a small magical air about him though so people who aren't a mage senses his magic. Steve will do whatever it takes to help his nation win this war. He is a very motivated soldier.

Do I need to fix anything? Is anything confusing at all? Is my character still going to work with yours? I'm sorry it took me so long to post this. School is now out for me so I can't devote more time to the forum.

Spyells, the one thing you'll definitely need to fix... you either get a Forge or Magic, not both. Also, there's no need to be so specific with your magic- just indict what sorts of elements (fire, water, wind, etc.) your character is proficient in wielding.

I read in one of your posts that you wanted the type of magic the person could do to be explained. Also if he is in an army, how is he supposed to fight without a weapon?

What I meant was, the variety of magic you are proficient with. This isn't like DnD spellcasting- spellcasters here are a lot more natural. They don't have preset spells in their head, they just pull magic out of the air and make it what they will. So your character is probably notably skilled with fire spells, for instance- either they have some affinity with fire or they just use it a lot- which makes them more proficient in that type of spells, so they cast those spells a bit faster, and hit harder with them. Other possible proficiencies could be healing magic, ice magic, wind magic, earth magic, defensive magic, straight-up magical blasts (these are tricky), or something else, if you think of it.

And as for having a weapon... that's why you've got your magic, silly! The Kaeran Army considers this a problem, too, and that's why they created the Rangers- so that your partner would always be next to you, to protect you. They are your sword. You are their artillery. It may not be the happiest setup, but it's the best it gets, sorry.

I'm in the middle of coming up with a template. I have a nice little character idea and all, so I'll post it up in an hour or so.

Appearance : Arimel is a fine, cream-white. Complexity for him is as milk is; soft, and fair. Blond hair protrudes in a random, but still neat fashion from his head, nearly two inches long. Two average brows and below it, and under them are two always incriminating eyes. Though soft, they pierce through every thing they look at. A sleek, thin chin and defined cheek bones gives Arimel a very small appearance.

Physically, Arimel is very capable and strong. His fighting tactic does not only come from his mind and heart, but his fitness. Health is one of the most important things to him, and he maintains a proper diet, excersises regularly, and focuses when he hasn't anything else to do.

*Esmer - A fine, thick, four foot long sword. Esmer has a red handle, enwrapped with a red ribbon, and a bluish hilt. The silver blade has several coral-like gold filigree. The blade itself is very beautiful, very light, and very elegeant when in motion. Arimel uses it with care but strength and power, even devotion.

Personality : Arimel is extremely calm. He has a tendency to underestimate things, look at every obstacle with a careless mind, and lay back in times of stress. However, he is not lazy. He pullls his wait, if he feels he's needed. His reason for not being active in times of need are simply that he does not feel he is needed. His status was achieved, not ascribed, and he works fairly hard to maintain it. In his mind, Drake is right in what he is doing, and he will follow him until he sees flaw in anyone's judgement. Fears are scarce, though he absolutely loaths being talked down to.
Bio : Arimel Entt was raised in Kaer, and lived in solitude for most of his younger years. His father registered him in the Kaer ground forces when he was very young, however, when word of Drake and his intention broke out, he immediately disbanded from Kaer and set out to follow his own beliefs. It just so happened that other people with the same beliefs took a stand at the perfect time.

He fights as long as he thinks he is right in doing so.

Appearance:
Meta is both a gorgeous and enigma entity. Meta has an appearance that is something that one might see in a dream turned into a nightmare, or vice versa. The hue of his skin is a teal-green, with some areas where the skin lightens, or is darkened a bit irregularly. Along his body there are reddish lines on certain areas as well. Meta also seems to have some sort of distortion field around him that can blur the features of him on and off. This is a simple explanation however.

Meta's face and head have an overall calm expression set to them, which can be considered a complete contrast to the features that are actually there. An inch or so above his eye brows, on either side of the head, Meta has set of red horns that move out and slightly downward. Above these, there is another set of horns, yet they curve upward, and then finally on top on his head in the center there is another horn, which has a point on it. Each of these horns has a few black rings around it. There are metal bands coming out of his skull and then going back into it between the horns. In the center of Meta's forehead where the skin is lighter, there is a red circular mark with lines curving up the sides, and one going straight up about an inch. There are red lines above around the corners of his eyes, and it seems that his eye lids are partially red as well. There are two dark lines on his face, and a single red line extending from his bottom lip. Meta has piercing magenta colored eyes with a small silver pupil.

The body Meta has is completely void of clothing, and he is completely naked, his body free to view for everyone. His shoulders are rather broad, but not bulkily so. They are muscled, only to where they are obviously not just there, and have been made use of at some point in time. From his shoulders two metal bands jut out from the skin, and curve around and into the shoulder blades, and right above the pectoral muscles. Between these metal bands, there are two light red lines. Meta's left arm is average size, but underneath the fleshy outside are hardened muscles, though his biceps and triceps are larger than the average person. His right arm has no muscle definition at all, mainly because it is a shiny red metallic arm with a hue shine on it. The hand on this arm seems to be made of complete flesh however, though the nails are long and sharpened like claws and the hand is not the same color of Meta's skin, being a peachy color.

His pectorals are firm, and muscled like the rest of his body, and there is a white ring piercing the left nipple. Traveling further down, his abdomen is defined, having a taunt ten pack, moving to the waist and obvious love-handles, which both have a bright red hue circling them. There is also a red emblem similar to the one on Meta's forehead on his lover back.

Though he IS naked, and as you stop at the groin area, there is no significant notation on his body of anything provocatively sexual, or lewd areas showing in the front, just a bit of a gleaming dull red orb in that area that is seemingly grafted into the skin. However on the backside, his buttocks are completely visible, and are mores or less perfect globes of rounded muscular flesh that taper off into defined thighs that go with his muscular legs.

Forge/Magick:
Meta wields a power force of magick that allows him to manipulate magick that consists of the four fundamental forces and can be used in ambiance. He also is able to use magick with extreme skill in the ice, and light elements along with the pure force of Asigir Mana….

Partner/s:
There are quite a few disturbing facts about Meta and his magickal abilities. While most have another person that is their link to reality and keeping them sane, Meta has something else entirely going on with the matter.

Tora- Meta has done some creepy, and dangerous things over the years, trying to perfect his magickal powers, and the way he makes them work. Tora is something that looks like a man, but most people haven't gotten close enough, or studied it long enough to know what Tora exactly is just a human husk, and Meta seems to control it with his mind, or some kind of trick with simulating magickal substance, and cast spells through Tora with little effort. It is possible that Meta transfers his soul into Tora....whatever it is, but that wouldn't explain how Meta then battles with his feet while Tora casts horrifically powerful spells...........Tora is a very disturbing human work of art, because it still acts like a living thing, even crying out if attacked, or injured, but it never bleeds, and it never speaks any word other than......."DIE"


Ramu- If people thought that Tora was bad, the partner that Meta has known as Ramu is much more frightening, and disturbing. Unlike Tora, this is something that is hard to define as a toy, person, or even a puppet. A female in appearance with long billowing hair and a face with a blank expression at all times. One eye is purple, the other yellow, yet each eye seems to be much more, possibly a link to another world, because a simple glance can cause one to get lost in "her" gaze, which usually means death. A massive array of runes is attached to her back, and because of this it is obvious that she is a spell amplifier of some sort in a human controlled form, yet why her "skin" in broken in random spots is a mystery, because these spots are filled with darkness, such darkness that only spells oblivion when looked into. With Tora, Meta moves around a lot, but when Ramu is literally activeout he seems to stay in one spot, and fight using only Ramu, as her body twists and fires spells one after another, and always rushes back to Meta the instant he is attacked, just like a partner would.

But, then there is that heart shaped hole in the center of "her" chest, that always glows blue.
Personality:
Persona is a description that usually deals with the implication of emotional output, or a complex of actions derived from a given mind set or situation. Meta is rather complex in his beliefs, and most of his actions are based on how he actually feels like displaying interest in whatever matter he is dealing with. One could say that Meta is in himself a spectrum of persona traits that could be dull, or explosive, humble, or eccentric........

Bio:
Much of Meta’s past is undisclosed, but at one point he ended up meeting Arimel Entt, and they almost instantly became best friends. The bond between the two grew to the point where their connection is intense enough that their minds often seem as one. Arimel is of course oblivious to how deeply Meta actually does care for him, but most of that is beside the point. Like a true friend, meta left with Arimel did, and since then has moved up in the ranks….

I think I'm going to have to drop out of this one. I'm sorry. The story sounds cool but I just don't like the way it's going with the characters. I hope we can role play together in another role play.
