THE PRICE FOR IMMORTALITY

After hours and hours of painstaking research, several scientists had found the formula for immortality. A simple liquid. Colourless. Odorless. It didn't look special but after drinking it, people have started to grow healthier, stronger...

But sadly, it came with devastating side effects. The cells of man had started to deteriote at a rate seemingly impossible. Yes. They were immortal and took advantage of it. They hurt themselves. The broken cells were instantly fixed but it also weakened the body.

Those that survived obtained something much more sinister. Man had went back to being the savage beasts they were. Lycanss. Vampires. Demons. They were just myths...weren't they?

After much more research, they had found a substance inside the formula which mutated the cells of the human body into something animalistic. And so, they tried to look for a cure or possibly something to counter-act the formula before it set itself into the cells.

But, before they could find it...an explosion occured which released the immortality formula into the air causing it to evaporate. Somehow, the effect intensifed when it touched flesh. Burning it off, to replace it with something completely different. The Rinato. Humans who have died...and reborn with the powers of theses mutants.

Now, the world is run amuck with strange mutants and monsters. There are humans who have survived and obtained an immunity to it but they were killed or transformed by the beasts.

Humans...are finding the cure...

Mutants...kill the humans for sport but rumored to have a motive in doing so.

Rinato...Not much is known but they are found killing both humans and mutants with no ulterior motive.

Weapons:
-Fiamma Biscia : A set of twin pistols which are able to convert the enrgy in the atmosphere into orbs of highly concentrated heat. He is able to change between 'soft' flames and 'hard' flames.

- Tempesta Biscia: A large ball and chain which has several spikes tipped in a special poison. It has the ability to turn directions in midair so it would hit the target either way.

-Musicale Biscia : A seemingly normal violin. However, it's strings can unleash a high pitched sound which affects the sense of hearing. As soon as the person hears the melody, their mind will enter an illusion which is close to reality. It is also able to send nigh invisible waves of energy which can cut through an enemy.

Abilities:
Regeneration : Regeneration is one of the most common abilities for Rinatos and Mutants. A small cut can take mere seconds to heal whie the bigger ones take a day at most.

Enhanced Strength : This is also very common among those who prefer strentgh.

Enhanced Speed : Another common ability.

Enhanced Stamina : Enhanced Stamina is not that common amongst the mutations but if one does have it, they are usually long lasting in battle.

Heat Proof : Due to past experiments, Morto obtained an immunity ot heat.

Acid Proof : An immunity to acids of all kinds.

Flame control : Morto is able to control any kind of flame.

Techniques:
- Big Bang : By channeling energy into his gloves, he is able to unleash a torrent of energy which explodes in a wide range.

- Biscia Storm : By spinning his ball and chain at a high speed, Morto smashes it down, creating ripples of flames which burns anything it touched depending on how far and near they were to the attack.

- Musicale Storm : By rapidly playing notes, several waves of sound will slice through the enemy. Since it is sound, it is nearly unblockable.

- Noise Maker : By creating a high pitched note, the enemies will be distorted by the sound and experience dizziness.

- Fall to the Sound : Different notes will trigger different reactions depending on the soundwaves.

- Rain of Vipers : By jumping up high, Morto will shoot several flames of both soft and hard value.

- The Vipers Touch : By smashing the Tempesta Biscia onto a person, the acid will instantly enter the bloodstream which will slowly erode the body from the inside unless an antidote is found. Chances of finding the antidote is very low.

Special :

Biscia Giudizio : Morto is able to create replicas of himself with his life enrgy althogh it is very taxing. One Morto will fir shots of hard flames followed with an X Burner. The second will create a tornado by spinning his ball and chain finishing by smashing it to the ground causing a mini quake. And finally, the original will send wave after wave of sound which will slice the enemy open finishing with a shockwave of epic proportions.

Weaknesses : Highly Concentrated Alkalis

Personality: Quiet and slightly distant. He doesnt really care what happens as long as he can kill.

Bio: One of the original Scientists in creating the formula. A genius in the world of science. He was the one who had created the formula and put research into it. He didnt really expect for this to happen.

A cure needed to be found and he searched for it. After painstaking research. He had found it. But he didn't want to risk on a human so he tried using it on animals. Mice. Dogs. Cats. Snakes.

He was extracting fluids from a snake. A desert mamba. It was dangerous and it could inject a poison which could raise the body's temperature or could erode the body from the inside. As soon as his hand was in the cage, it bit him and the explosion occured.

He could barely remember everything but he remembered the pain. The pain of a snake fusing itself into his body. The rearranging of cells. The hunger to kill. The unbearable heat. It was too much and he died.

After a while, he awoke with the memories of what happened and he found out...he could care less. Who gived a ****? Humans were weak. And the mutants were just sorry excuses for 'evolution'.

He was still safe and he found several weapons and strated tweaking them and that was when he found out about his powers. Slowly, he learned how to control them.

She stands at five-foot-six, and has a very small, bony, build. Her eyes are large, Jade, beacons that attract others to their depths before returning into hiding behind their corrective lenses. The thick, black, angular glasses are well known for falling to the bridge of her nose, not to mention being forgotten in the most unbelievable places. The female's dark hair is cut in a strange, razored, way that hangs straight against her shoulders. It's often seen pulled up in disarray with any object that can hold it's mass. Her clothing is simple,and mildly modest. Her ensemble generally consists of black boots, held together with silver buckles of many shapes and sizes, blue or black - moderately tight fitting - jeans, and a t-shirt holding a strange or sarcastic phrase. Lastly, and probably her most memorable feature, a large black duffel bag is present with her at all times. What resides in this bag, is a mystery - one that she's not eager to give away any time soon.

Vérité & Chasteté
Literally, Truth and Virtue, this well known pair is a set of twin Desert Eagles. They are capable of withstanding extreme heat, their design was tweaked and they were remade with a newly discovered flame-retardant alloy. They are capable of firing bullets containing liquid nitrogen and silver bullets contaminated with a variety of poisonous substances.

Tonnerre & Éclair
Literally, Thunder and Lightning, this pearl-hilted pair are two Japanese style short swords, known as Wakizashi. Their designs have, also, been tweaked. Within their blades run an electric current of a strong enough magnitude to paralyze a normal human for 2-3 minutes.

Abilities
Regeneration
A common ability, which shortens a wound's healing time.

Agility
A common ability, which increases one's speed.

Water Manipulation
An ability that allows it's user to control water in it's solid or liquid form.

Hypnotism
A rather uncommon ability which requires a great amount of patience and practice. Through vast concentration, and eye contact, it's user is capable of lulling an opponent to sleep for a matter of 4-5 minutes.

Stealth
An ability that allows it's user to easily slip into shadows, sneak and escape without detection.

Techniques
Grève
After achieving a minimum of three hits in a combo using her Wakizashi, a flash of electricity will shoot from one of the two short blades and strike her opponent.

Geler
Using water manipulation, she is able to use water in the atmosphere to create a temporary seal on an opponent's weapon.

Pleuvoir
Using stealth, she is able to fire a 'rain' of bullets from either a high place, or behind an opponent.

Traîtrise
Using stealth, she is able to sneak upon an opponent and stab them through the back with either one, or both of her blades.

Double Équipe
Using one of her blades as a distraction, she is able to get in close to a target and fire off rounds in a vital part of the opponent's body.

Special
Détruire
Busying an opponent with a barrage of bullets containing liquid nitrogen and one of the two short blades, she uses water manipulation to convert the atmosphere's water into ice and form a sarcophagus around an opponent. Afterwards, the opponent is stabbed through the chest with both blades, triggering the effect of her Grève. The electricity mixes with the water of the ice, and the conclusion is basic science.

Personality
Lilly is a very happy girl. She has few days where she doesn't smile, and laugh about nearly anything that happens to her. She has a rare gift of finding the good in everything, and everyone. She uses her head, and has a very advanced intelligence for someone of her age. However, she has a very smart mouth and speaks what's running through her mind freely. In short - she's extremely sarcastic , and harsh - and enjoys every minute of it. Despite outside views, she actually isn't one that really enjoys violence and blood shed - it's simply something that is necessary if she wishes to survive. She has very strong morals, and seems to take pride in the artistry she gives every aspect of her life.

When engaged in a battle her true demeanor appears, revealing that behind her smile is a very merciless, and tactful being. She has no respect for idiots, and refuses to associate with those she deems unworthy of her time. In short, she's a girl of many traits, and tricks.

Biography
Lilly was born in France to a French Mother and an English Father. She grew up in a small house in Paris for the first few years of her life, before her parents moved her family to England. Here she lived for a few years yet again, before she was moved to a desert in India. By the time she was thirteen she had already attended seven schools and been to nearly fourteen countries. As a result of this, she acquired a love of travel at a young age.

When she was sixteen her family settled down, and she began to help her mother in her lab. Her Mother was a scientist that fancied combining things of polar opposites, and adding her own touches to inventions already made. Her Father was a military man, a retired General distinguished in strategy and fighting tactics. Lilly would spend her mornings with her Mother in the lab, mixing and remaking things, and then spend her evenings with her Father talking of strategies and playing Chess.

In the end, she took after both of her parents and pursued a career in Science. She'd heard rumor of a group attempting to make an Immortality Potion, and honestly she found it pure nonsense. How she's come to work in the same building as these 'life enthusiasts', as she called them, she never really knew. None the less, she busied herself with creating new weapons for the military when the whole 'Immortality' invention backfired. Besides filling the ears of others with 'I told you so's she became the 'go to girl' of strategies for the very men she was arming. That was when it happened.

An explosion was all she remembered. How it had happened, she hadn't known. All she knew was that it had something to do with the work in progress cure for the 'Immortality' project.

She remembered the explosion.
And then waking, and no longer being human.
