Splinter didn't wait for the rest of her response. He just jumped out of the tree, and landed softly on the ground. The girl said for him to show himself if he was a friend. He'd much rather be a friend than a foe.

He knew that being half-human would make it hard for her to pinpoint his location, but she knew where abouts he was hiding.

"Hey!"

She looked around, and saw Splinter about 15 feet away

"Were you looking for me? My name's Splinter"

Nocturne watched the conversation pass, and barely flinched as Splinter leaped out of the tree. He had located where Shay and her dog was a long time ago, and had guessed the general area in which Splinter was hiding in. He was satisfied as Splinter revealed himself, near the middle of his estimated area. Nocturne hadn't lost his touch.

But he was feeling a little nervous now. Splinter was now closer to him, and he risked detection. The wind was still blowing towards him, carrying his scent away from the vampires, but he thought that the wind stopped once, and his scent was able to float to the vampires there.

Hopefully not, though he did see Shay look over towards the general direction of where he was hiding. Her dog probably knew by now that he was hanging around here, but he sincerely hoped that he wouldn't reveal it to Shay. At least, not right now.

Sniffing the air, he was surprised to see that he was mistaken. There was another one in the trees where Splinter had appeared from.
Intrigued, Nocturne silently sneaked towards the tree, making no noise, his black clothes blending with the shadows, and his scent being carried away from the vampires...

She shouldn't notice him coming.

Shay looked over as another vampire jumped down from the trees. She eyed him up and down, a curious look on her face. "You seem to sure smell like it....were you with a human..I smell it all over you...no...your vampire scent is too weak...your a halfbreed, arent you?" She smiled knowing that he was probably no match for her even if he did intend a fight.

But still, she knew she smelled a lycan earlier, and she was sure he smelled them. She wouldnt be suprized if he showed up sooner or later. She wont let her guard down now, especially now. "I smell another vampire...is there someone with you?" She pinpointed the location at which the vampire had jumped down from, guessing it was also near. By the smell, she guessed it was a female. She wasnt showing her face...so she could be a threat. "Whats your name, and why are you here? I've never seen you before...I live in and around these woods, my resting place during the day is in a mosoleum close by, and I've never witnessed another vampire in these parts because of the lycan threat that live in this forest." Shay finished, her acute sense of hearing herd footsteps nearby...she guessed it was the lycan who had caught their scent earlier, but she let it go that she knew he was there, and pretended she did not see him.

"your a halfbreed, arent you?"

Splinter knew she was somewhat disgusted. She tells him to show himself, then takes one look at him and dismisses him as a mere 'half-breed'.

"Yeah, if you'd like me as friend rather than foe, I'm sure this won't be a problem. It's not my fault I'm this way, and I hate humans just as much as you do."

Splinter wasn't sure if she was still listening, because she seemed to have locked on to the scent of the other Vampire and the Lycan.

"I smell another vampire...is there someone with you?

"No, but I smell them too."

She looked around suspiciously, pinpointing the location of the others.

Not even a 'hello, how are you'?
I told you Vampires aren't too friendly
Did you see the way she looked at me?
If she were the half-breed and you were the pure blood, you would feel the same
...... Stop being right all the time
Just relax for now, and wait to see what unfolds

XD apologies if it wasn't clear, I thought the conversation was moving along a bit slowly, so I decided to speed it up a bit - I'm behind Ruby right now.

Jayden kept her pace...until reaching a small clearing where the scent of the group grew to a great intensity..."Oh yeah, they are here alright." She said. Then slowly she made her way up the nearest tree to stalk them. "What are they up to? Some sort of querrel? Or just a meet up? Are they enemies?" She wondered....She kept to herself quietly...she knew they would smell her scent soon...but wanted to wait for their first reaction...she did not want to get caught in the middle of a good fight. Or did she?

IC: The conversation was moving too slow. No progress.
Quick as a flash, Nocturne slid with the shadows and appeared, to the opposite side of where Shay was looking at.

"Pleasant night, isn't it? With all these vampires hanging around."

He grinned. That should make things a bit more intense...

Jayden watched as the suspence grew...The boy had been hanging around the girl that was caught in the middle..."I wonder if he's gunna bite her head off...that should be interesting to watch.." She laughed...She kept watching, making sure to stay hidden for as long as possible...she knew they would catch her soon enough.
