Default One Battle, Two Friends: The Rivalry Continues...

The title says it all... the rematch between me and my long time friend Wolfy. I'll be using my character Guy, as usual, but I allow you to choose the battlefield Wolfy. Anywho... you know the rules already so we just need to fill the three judges spots.

~{Judges}~
1. Setharoth
2.
3.

Battlefield: Wolfy's choice.

Now, for my template...

Name: Guy, "The Bushinryu Master"

Age: Around his mid twenties.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Guy has medium length hair, his bangs nearly covered his brown eyes. He wears a red ninja-gi along with a pair of red Chuck Taylor All Stars. He also wears a pair of silver fingerless gauntlets along with a silver waist belt and silver ankle guards. Underneath his ninja-gi Guy wears a black fishnet shirt while on the back of his gi is a kanji. The kanji reads 'Bushin' which in Japanese means, 'Warrior God.'

Race: Human

History: At the beginning of his journey, Guy teams up with his training partner, Cody and the Mayor of Metro City, Mike Haggar, to save Jessica, Cody's girlfriend and Haggar's daughter, from Belger, the leader of the Mad Gear gang. He defeated the Japanese wannabe, Sodom in a famous match at an underground ring with many Mad Gear members watching and then goes on to Metro City's Industrial Area, where he defeats Rolento after being told he would make a good soldier. He re-unites with Haggar and Cody at the very end to defeat Belger and rescue Jessica. Once she is rescued, Guy merely walks away, his work done, but not before he knocks Cody down to allow Jessica to confront Cody.

Not too long, later Guy sensed evil within Metro City once more, and goes to destroy it. Strangely enough, it was Belger, the departed Mad Gear leader, resurrected as a zombie. He defeats Belger, but is concerned that the evil of the man has corrupted him. He sets out to purify his body and mind, and begins to travel the world to achieve this, train, and discover the true power of his fighting style as well. So focused was he in attempting to discover the power of Bushin, he was not around to help save the 37th Bushin Master Genryusai and his daughter Rena, Guy's fiance, but he does writes Haggar, Carlos, and fellow Bushin ninja/childhood friend Maki a thank you letter upon hearing that Genryusai and his fiance are saved and Mad Gear is finally destroyed for good.

As he continued his long journey, Guy sought out his master, the 38th Bushin master, Zeku, whom he needed to defeat in order to become the next Bushinryu master. Guy eventually does defeat his mentor, becomes the 39th Bushin Master, and is charged with bringing down Shadoloo. He also could have fought Sodom and Rolento during this time, but it is unknown.

Guy is finishing up his travels and returning to his home, Metro City, but is still focused on his quest of destroying Shadoloo and its head, M. Bison. He meets up with Rose, realizes her connection to Bison, and urges her not to go on a suicide mission in destroying him. She refuses and they fight, and despite losing the battle, Guy more or less resolves to follow her and help her out.

He also meets up with his friend Cody during this time, and is dismayed to discover that he has escaped from jail and is basically a thug. The two battle but they both calm down and Guy realizes that Cody is still a good person. He notes that all the people Cody has fought over the years have been criminals and dregs on society, despite his seeming addiction to fighting. The two part amicably and Guy wishes his friend the best. He eventually catches up to Rose's unconscious body, and carries her to the hospital, but feels a flash of evil, not knowing that Bison is in now in control of Rose's body. He shakes it off, but is concerned. Soon after, Guy realizes that as Bushin master, being decisive in his actions is key, morality is irrelevant. To that end, he adopts an "end justifies the means" philosophy.

Guy finally returns to Metro City and teams up with Haggar to rid Metro City of the Skull Cross gang, the latest gang to try to pick up where Mad Gear had left off. They are joined by Metro City SCU officer Lucia Morgan and street fighter, Dean, who wanted revenge when Skull Cross murdered his family, because Dean refused to join the gang. The four succeed, and are able to rid Metro City of the criminals. Metro City is left in shambles, but Guy does not seem to care, and leaves that to Haggar.

Soon after, Guy takes up residence in Metro City's Japantown district, and gets involved in the criminal underworld, as a means to keep his part of town clean. Guy teaches Bushin at his dojo, with several ninjas-in-training, or "Genin," at his command. At some point, he committed a crime, which Cody purposely took the fall for. The entire time, it is known that Cody and Guy have not spoken since that incident. His home attacked, Guy uses his Genin to help Kyle Travers find Cody and stop the infiltration of the designer drug Glycolauric Octanol, or Glow, into Metro City.

While continuing what appeared to be his never ending journey, Guy had an encounter with two ninjas who resides from a rival clan. These two ninjas were none other than Mukuro and Kenji, two ninjas that have been seeking out for the Bushinryu master in order to defeat him, not to mention end his life. The two teamed up, thinking that out numbering Guy would assure them a easy victory... but they were wrong. What felt like a never ending battle, the three ninjas fought to their fullest but in the end it was just a draw.

Mukuro and Kenji, energy literally drained out from then, disappeared off into the night, vowing that they would have another encounter with Guy but the next time they happen to meet, it would officially be the day Guy would have his last fight.

Weapon(s): Guy doesn't rely on any weapons. The only two things he ueses are his fists and his knowledge of the Bushiryu of Ninjutsu. The fighting style gives him an advantage not only in strength, but speed as well.

Abilities:
- Bushin Goraikyaku: Guy unleashes a flurry of punches and kicks before jumping back and lunging forward, striking the opponent in the chest with a thrusting kick.
- Bushin Hassoken: Knocking the opponent into the air with a powerful uppercut, Guy jumps after his opponent and hits them with numerous punches and kicks before ending the move with a thrusting kick that sends the opponent crashing back to Earth.
- Midnight Bliss: Guy's most powerful ability. Only way for him to perform this move successfully is if his opponent is close enough for him to grab onto. Once he does, the area goes pitch black for a few seconds. The only thing that can be heard is the attack Guy unleashes on his opponent before everything can be seen again.

I'll describe the battlefield in my first post...but first I'll give the judge spots a day or two to fill up.

This is gonna be fun =)

Name: Taryn Wanderer

Age: Over 700

Gender: Male

Appearance: Click here!

Race: Human

Primary Weapon:

Little Dragon- A spear-like weapon, with a fifteen inch blade attached to a pole, the pole itself being about five feet tall. It is a very light weapon, making it easy for him to wield and to carry it along his back. The pole and the sheath, for the blade, have a grayish color while the sheath has a gold insignia of a dragon.

Taryn had obtained this weapon just a few years ago, by defeating the man who had wielded it. The man had, apparently, been destroying cities and innocent people all over the place for nearly two years. Without even finding out what the man’s name was, Taryn killed him. It wasn’t easy, however. Little Dragon had the ability to absorb magical attacks and energy. With all the magic that the weapon had obtained in the two years that the man had been wielding it, he was able to use it to launch magic attacks at his enemies.

Most of the weapon’s energy had been depleted that day, and its origin still remains a mystery. The only thing that Taryn knows about the weapon is that it can absorb magic and use it against its enemies as well. Though, he rarely used the magic within the weapon against his enemies. It’s more of a last resort for him. He saves the absorbed magic for something truly important…

Secondary Weapon:

Defender- A Bow made out of steel, with two, twelve inch, blades on each side (bottom and top). It is a unique bow, which can be used as a melee weapon as well. His quiver, able to hold thirty-five arrows, has the name of the bow written on it, upon a metal plate. The arrows that he uses to fire at his enemies are very sharp and can pierce someone’s flesh with ease.

Bio: (Being written…)

(*A month later...* And where the flip are our judges! -.- Are we that hated around here? )

So much time had passed since a thread had been created between two specific warriors. They went their seperate ways, but the everlasting thread that connected their minds remained. Destiny will soon bring the two ends of the thread together and come that much closer to completing a circle that one end of the thread had been wanting to complete for much too long now. The circle of life.

You're nearby...where are you?

A distant, but familiar, voice echoed in the blue haired teen's head as he walked down a path, with trees left and right. He stopped and made an attempt to figure out where his...friend was. In the teen's left hand was his weapon, which he called Little Dragon. It was a spear-like weapon, with a blade, which was much longer than the average sized spear blade, attached to the pole. The pole was just about as tall as him.

The teen didn't wear that much armor. In fact, he only has shin guards and gauntlets, an extended plate of metal on his right handed gauntlet. He didn't really like wearing too much armor; he figured it would slow him down too much. Besides, through his many years of fighting, he never needed it that much. And by many years I mean..... a shat load. Though, he may look like a teen, he's really older than your great great great grandfather.

This warrior's name is Taryn Wanderer, whom is under the curse of the broken circle.

Taryn lifted his head up slightly, letting his hair slowly move out of his eyes as the celtic cross around his neck began to glow faintly. His eyes were wide open as they began to glow a light blue color. He could no longer see what was in front of him; he was looking through the eyes the prince. The hell do you consider nearby, a hundred miles?

Everything was blurry and it looked as if the world was spinning. He figured that he was in a battle... and he also figured that he might be responding a bit late. Don't die on me... A tiny grin appeared on what was an expressionless face. A blaze of fire suddenly filled his vision, causing him to snap out of it from the shock.

His vision returned to normal as did his eyes and his cross.

"He'll manage.." Taryn muttered under his breathe as he looked around. He wondered if destiny would send someone to stand in his way as well. One could never know.

(Sorry it took so long.)

A dark silhouette could be seen jumping from branch to branch, its speed was incredible as it made itself blind to the naked eye. Stopping at a particular branch the figure looked straight down at the combatant below, examining his attire. Quickly the figure jumped down from the branch and began to zip past the teen. He appeared in front of him running across the path before hiding in the batch of trees, then suddenly appeared behind the teen and did the same thing. The figure was pretty much teasing his newly found opponent and decided enough was enough. Stopping a few feet away from the teen, it turned out that the figure was a man. Crossing his arms, he spoke. "So, another warrior for me to make quick work of?"

The man appeared to look around his early to mid twenties. He has short brown hair which his bangs were long enough to cover his hazel colored eyes. As for his attire, the man wore a red dogi with a kanji on the back. It reads "Bushin" which means "Warrior God" in Japanese. A pair of silver, fingerless gauntlets kept the man's hands warm. A silver belt was worn around his waist as he also wore a pair of silver ankle guards. Lastly, which is something that stands out the most, the man wore a pair of red Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars. From the looks of it, it appeared that the man was a ninja of some sort.

If it took you a while you must of already knew that this man was none other than the Bushinryu of Ninjutsu master himself, Guy. Yes... his name is Guy. Nice name don't you think?

"Pfft... first the green elf and now this. When will people learn to not use useless and pathetic weapons?" Guy was rather disappointed seeing how this teen held a spear. "Oh well, I had no problem with Link so I won't have a problem facing you either." said Guy, still standing there with his arms crossed.

(How does one stare at something that is non-existant? ... *moves away from Seth* )

Heh... you didn't kill him?

Taryn had only taken a few steps foward before he stopped, thinking he heard something. He stood completely still, listening intently to his surroundings. There wasn't a single sound in the area as if he was the only living being for at least a mile. A strange feeling abruptly took place in his chest, causing him to inhale the slightest bit of air, without having any control over this action. He slowly exhaled through his nose, giving absolutely no information of what he was pondering within his mind. The teen's face remained the same.

This 'strange feeling', however, wasn't strange at all to the teen. Taryn knew it quite well, through the course of his life. This feeling always seemed to occur just before he was ambushed. It is the feeling you get when you feel like you're being watched. And he knew very well that he was being watched because he had used this feeling to his advantage for years. It's interesting, how sometimes the human body knows things before the mind does. Through his many years of living, he had trained his mind to know things just as fast as the body. His mind and body became one.

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew the teen's long hair back, kicking some dust in the process as well. Just as fast as the wind had occured, however, Taryn's eyes had shifted to his left. He had gray eyes, with a hint a blue in them. His eyes had stayed in that position, knowing that whatever had been watching him had just passed him at a amazingly fast speed. Not once did he flinch; he simply gripped his pole arm tighter, waiting for an attack. Again, he stood absolutely still, listening to the wind for when the attack will occur.

Once more, the figure had moved past him, in the back this time.

Not long after his hair had stopped flowing along with the wind, the figure stood in front of the teen with his arms crossed. "So, another warrior for me to make quick work of?" the man said to him, clearly sounding as if fighting was simply a game to him.

Taryn narrowed his eyes, tilting his head to the side, ever so slightly and slowly as his head moved as well, having his cheek face him. His body turned in the same way. The teen's mouth moved and turned into a small grin as his looked at the man through a few strands of his dark blue hair; his hair crawling toward his left eye once more. He lifted up Little Dragon, switching it from left handed wield to right. The pole slowly twirled between his fingers as it had changed to a fighting position. The blade was now facing the ground, just a few inches away from the ground as the pole lay in a diagonal behind him, across his back.

"Pfft, first the green elf and now this. When will people learn to not use useless and pathetic weapons?" The man spoke to him again. Taryn's eyes moved slowly as he examined the man's clothes. The teen was quite familiar with what the man was wearing... and he was pretty sure who he was as well. He had heard of a lot of warriors through his travels and always kept their identity in mind if he should ever engage combat with them. "Oh well, I had no problem with Link so I won't have a problem facing you either." The ninja spoke once more.

Taryn's eyebrows moved up slightly as the words came out of the ninja's mouth. Raising up his left hand to get his hair of his eye, he looked directly at him. "Link... the one from Hyrule. I've heard quite a bit about him." The teen replied. He knew of the Hyrulian's accomplishments, and if this ninja was able to take him down than he wasn't going to be a push over. "You....you're the.." his eyes looked up as if trying to remember something. "You're the thirty-ninth Bushin master guy and you're name is... Guy." He said, remembering his odd name, last minute.

"I suppose it's easy for you to say that weapons are usless, since you move faster than a bullet." Taryn said to him. "No, you're right, I shouldn't be much trouble for you. Afterall, I'm still kind of a beginner at archery and the art of handling a pole-arm." he added, his grin turning into an innocent smile. Acting like he didn't know what he was doing was something he did quite often, since he knew his opponent would think he wasn't that old, due to his appearance.

Taryn kept his eyes upon Guy, waiting for him to make the first move.

"No, you're right, I shouldn't be much trouble for you. Afterall, I'm still kind of a beginner at archery and the art of handling a pole-arm."

Guy wasn't much impressed by the teenager's acting skills, nor was he impressed with him lying either. "Yeah, yeah, save your bull crap for later. It's not going to help you here." replied the Bushinryu master. Examining the teenager's fighting stance, it appeared that he wanted him to make the first move of their starting battle. However, this was a common mistake of others considering Guy was known to win a fight within the start...

Though, looking back at the fight with his new ally Link, Guy never really used most of his abilities. The only memorable ones were the "Bushin Goraikyaku", "Bushin Hassoken", and his ultimate the "Bushin Massourenka", or in other words the "Midnight Bliss." And seeing his new opponent, this teenager wasn't much of a difference from Link either. They both used weapons and Guy was pretty much a master at countering them. But enough about this rambling, time to move on with the battle already.

His lips curled into a smirk after seeing his opponent giving him the opportunity of making the first move, getting into his usually fighting stance. Another gust of wind blew as there was an eerie silence that came across the two combatants. Nothing but sounds of the bushes and branches leaves rustling could be heard and nothing else. That silence was soon broken as Guy then began to run towards the teenager who he still has yet to discover his name. Once he was close enough, he suddenly vanished without a trace. Just like that the Bushinryu master was gone. Did he back down from the fight?

Wrong. Guy appeared behind his opponent and struck him directly in the middle of his back with an elbow smash that sent him a few feet away as a result of the impact. This was one of Guy's abilities known as the "Hayagake", also known as the "Bushin-Teleport Run." Returning to his fighting stance Guy glanced over at the teenager and finally asked the question. "Before I defeat you, may I ask what is your name?"

"Yeah, yeah, save your bull crap for later. It's not going to help you here." Guy said in response.

Taryn almost burst into laughter, but simply smirked. The teen had fought many people in the past, but only one had an attitude quite like Guy's. Of course, they both were very different, but, regardless, he always found it amusing when someone he was fighting took the battle seriously...even if it was a matter of life or death. Though, he knew when to be serious; it was rare that he showed it. Besides, serious fighters were always fun to annoy and aggravate.

The teen already knew he was going to like this fight. Simply because Guy reminded him of someone who was a good friend of his now.

The sound of fast paced footsteps quickly filled Taryn's ears as the ninja charged at him. His eyes were completely still as they stared straight into the ninja's brown eyes. Sometimes, you can tell what the enemy is going to do next by looking what where their eyes were focused at. However, if Guy's eyes showed anything, it showed that he was hypnotized. At least thats what it looked like. But it wasn't the fact that the ninja's eyes weren't moving that was bother the teen. It was that no matter how much closer he approached the more focused he seemed.

It had always been difficult to read someone like this... Taryn thought.

Just as the teen flinched from the fact that Guy looked as if he was about to run him over; the ninja disappeared. He wasn't going to attack me at all...at least.. from the front!

Taryn's legs quickly turned his entire body around, only to get struck dead center in the stomach, by the ninja's elbow. The teen's grip on Little Dragon tightened, just as fast as his eyes had closed shut, on impact, as his boots skid across the ground a few feet. He refused to let his body fall to the ground; he kept his balance. Once he stopped, he let his breath out in a sigh as he opened his eyes. Though he was in pain, he didn't show it; his face looked the same from when the fight had started. The teen stood upright as if he had simply absorbed the blow.

"Before I defeat you, may I ask what is your name?" Guy asked.

Taryn smiled a bit, at the ninja's overly confident tone. "That depends, which one are you talking bout?" he asked, walking up to the ninja casually, the blade of his pole-arm trailing along his side. "I'll tell you what... I'll tell you my given name.. once you've earned it." he replied with a sneer.

The teen suddenly dashed foward, thrusting Little Dragon upward, aiming to cut across the ninja's chest, diagonally. After the strike was launched, Taryn side-stepped, his body making one full twirl before his blade went whistling through the air once more, this time heading toward Guy's throat, in a horizontal motion.
