Ok, FA has put me up to this, but anyway its a battle between me and Zabazu...

Zab came up with this setting, pretty interesting.

Ryu has hair the gleams an essence of darkness, his eyes are black and if one was to glare into them they could get lost into his eyes that display a dark abyss.He cloaks a red jacket that covers his black undershirt and black jeans, he finds them quite comfortable.Basic gloves and boot apparel compliment the rest of his appereance, in terms of his fitness, he has trained and worked out much, this shows in his muscles.He carries a large sword on his back, and his magnum in his pocket.

Diablo- His main weapon of choice, a large sword that has a broad blade.The handle of the blade displays a demon-like face, this resembles his death grim named Diablo, hence the swords name, Diablo.

V(roman numeral)- A golden magnum that has been marked with a 'V' the V symbols the roman numeral for the number 5.The 5 symbols the number or family members he has left to kill.This is further explained in his bio.

-Personality-

Ryu is sometimes called "The lazy warior". He will not participate in an unneccesary fight, he believes it is too much extra work and will become a hassle.Of course when a battle does occur, he is very determined and will fight with hearts passion.As lazy and unwilling as he may seem, he does enjoy a good fight, and will get bloodthirsty and excited.He of course shows grief and resent for the endless battle amongst his family, peace would be nice, but he knows this will never come.He is vigorous and intent on his dreams, he hopes to one day reach his true dream.

Ryu is calm and intelligent, he mostly thinks to himself, of course when it becomes battle time he is openly thinking.He's quick and decisive at making strategies and decisions, he can be defined as a "Lazy warrior", he likes to sleep an nap alot, and will not fight unneccesary battles.He's developed a love for the elements, of course anyone who controlled elements like him would develop the same love.

He is a man of strength, will, and courage.His skills are in swordsmanship gunmanship, and the elements.Later explained of course, Ryu controls several elements like, fire,water,wind,earth, thunder,ice,etc..
Thats where most of his powers are focused, he does have a transformation triggered from his demon traits, which has never been used.He may control many elements, but his main element that he uses is fire.

-Other Abilities-
Shrine of Diabolos-an attack in tribute to Diabolos, the myths of his world say that he combined all the elements to form the "shadow element", Ryu does the same with a fierce concentration of all his strength and body parts.With a formation of the shadow element, his power increases greatly.Similar to the shrine of Herena, ut he uses the darker part of his soul.

Shrine of Herana- An attack in tribute to Herena, the myths of his world say that she combined all the elements to for the "Light element".Ryu does the same with a fierce concentration of all his strength and body parts.With a formation of the light element, his power increases greatly.Similar to the shrine of Diabolos, but he uses the lighter part of soul.

Angel Arrows of Chaos- Forms a giant bow of energy, he can then use it as a regular bow, shoot arrows and etc.. This attack allows an immense rejuvination of the body,but unfortunately can only be used once.

8th Shadow: At appereance he can clone his shadow into 8 individual shadows.They than take real form and act on their own will.Ryu Still has the ability to control them by voice.This requires use of his shadow element.



Biography~:

It all originated a few years before Ryu was born.His father had made a foolish move,he had killed the emperor of "Death Touch". Death Touch was a land in demonia, he was caught within a week, instead of an instant killing punishment, the new ruler had decided that a portion of his family would suffer for his crime.He was allowed to roam free for twenty-five years, however long that may seem, when the period of time was done the true punishment arose.

His father Daunte, had a wife, a daughter, and son(Ryu).This was the whole purpose of the twenty-five year sentence, it allowed him to have a family, and get him close to his family.The emperor decreed a cruel punishment.He informed Daunte,Ryu,Azalea,Akeginu,and Okoi that only one of them can survive through this punishment, he declared that each of the five family members must attempt to kill each other.Only one will be alive in the end, it does not matter which family member kills which family member, four out of five of the family must die within a year.If not then the whole family will be killed.Since the sentence, he has pondered whether or not he should actually kill those he loves.The sad thing was that the other family members had already decided they were going to kill each other.It was a horrible thought, it disgusted him, his sister was the only one who was with him, his sister did not want to kill Ryu, but on the negative side, she would kill any of the others.Okoi may have developed an extending fondliness for Ryu...

Ryu's dream and plot is to hopefully end this sentence peacefully, without having to kill a family member.For now he ponders to himself,what to do, what comes next? The heavy burden of the sentence still drapes over his head, what happens between his family must be decided quickly within the year period....

When he is noticed and people try to befriend him, he accepts their friendship and is friendly, never questioning it. He often blends into crowds easier than one may imagine.

- A blade with a curiously Decorated handle, and sheath with the runes of enchanment and power upon it. It has a long and sturdy blade, which also has runes upon it, and is formed from a titanium, silver- like compound; which is nearly indestructable. It's blade was darkened, and stained to a midnight black. It's name derives from its original owner. It's enchantment- which is of the basic elements, can on the users command can change to one of light, darkness, wind, fire, water, earth, nature , and electricity. He wears it by his hip, and is easily drew.
- Across his left arm is a mithril scale covering, and at the end a metal gauntlet/ arm brace. Either a Handblade made out of Silver, or it can shoot thin and longish needles out of it.
- An antique shotgun, enchanted with heartseeking bullets, and various other enchanments. It's bullets are in a element resistance pouch by his hip. The bullets are enchanted much like the sword. The shotgun is in good condition though.

- He also has several enchanted throwing knives, which different elements to each one.

Appearance:
He wears a black heavily reinforced Jerkin, with matching black pants, and a grey shit underneath the Jerkin. Then he has a Black leather hood attached to the hood, which is just as durable as the jerkin. His jerkin is suprisingly light-weighted , and can take most elemental and melee attacks.

Bio:He was born in kerestal to a poor family of merchants who could never really pay to keep enough food on the table. Hungry and alone, one day(around the age of 9) he had set off in search of food, sneaking into a building that looked abandoned, hoping he could find something there. What he found was a guild. They immediatly abducted him and tortured him, asking him how he had found their secret guild hall.They whipped him and shocked him with cold water until he made up a lie about his father(who was a merchant) was looking for them and wanted to trade. They immediatly took Will, and his family searched for years, and years. His family was killed by the same assasins the same month in a contract hit on them. Will learned this years later and this sparked his eventual escape
eventually the guild leader realized Will's potential, and took Will underneath his wing, teaching him everything he knew.Will eventually rose to a high rank...The Elites, and was easily one of the best assassin's in there, he didn't even leave a trace on the job. One day after all his training was complete,Will fed up with his life and the killing enacted a escape, and being one of the Elite, easily escaped, unnoticed, except by maybe two dead guards.He is now living in the sewers, evading the guild - master's assassins that are sent after him.He now lives in the sewers of kerestsal, hoping he will eventually get out of the city. In the sewers he met a man, who he first thought was crazy; but turned out to be the most sane man he knew. This man's name was Jerim, a master of the arts of the magi, and shadows. He taught Will all he knew before his death at the hands of a elite who was going after Will. Will picked up his things, and several books of magic from Jerim, buried them, and then left the city. He immediatly went traveling around the world of Haraft with the yearning of exploring within him. He traveled around hiferta and learned many things.

[Zabazu]

Will stared at the white room around him, the walls being of pure light. Three brown mahogany doors, that seemed to be larger than they actually now lined the walls. Will went to one of the walls, the one directly infront of him, and felt the wood on it. It felt suprisingly smooth, and was cold as metal. It seemed to be bursting with energy, a kind unknown to anyone but the creator of this 'realm'. Will then felt the doors handle, which was warm to the touch, and was silver, and had a odd symbol upon it.

Will was about to open it, when he felt another presence in this pure white room. One that had not shown himself. He noticed that his black jerkin gave off a odd contrast to the white walls, and he was completly visible to the average eye. No shadow was cast upon the ground either, which unsettled Will. He was use to the shadows. He had lived in the shadows for so long.

Will turned to face his opponent, and quickly pulled out his obsidian blade. He summoned a element, two to be exact, and a white flame blazed across the blade. Giving it a odd appearance. Light and flames flickered across the obsidian, and made it menacing. Will smirked and waited for his opponents next move.

As much as he would have liked to jump into this fight immediately, he stopped and observed the room he was in.He had no idea why he was here or how he had gotten here.Ryu stared around the room, only to see a contstant,and blinding white.He did notice the only distinguishing feature of the room, it had three doors, each with odd symbols on the doorknob.

Now, realizing that his opponent must be growing impatient, Ryu drew his sword for the time being.Ryu paused for a second and asked him "Who are you and what in the world is this place?". But this opponent was an eager fighter so he would atleast pass some kind of attack his way.

Ryu took a deep dreath,clinched his fist,focused, and suddenly sent a flame dancing across his blade.Their blades were now matched so to speak.Of course the opponents blade seemed to be using a light energy.He whispered to himself "long distance". Ryu cocked his blade to the side and closed his eyes, took another deep breath and flund the flames from his blade toward his opponent.He watched the flames leap from the blade,and as he did he wondered what would become of this mysterious event.

Zab, saying that you sensed knives in the room before he posted is a bit of powerplaying. Try not to do that in the future.

The flames crawled towards Will at an entrancing speed. Will raised his remaining palm, and held it open, mutturing several words of magic. A sheild of ice appeared before his palm. he raised it towards the stream of flames, which was diverted by the ice. The deflected flames went around the flames, licking at Wills arms as they did so. Will's obsidian blade then flickered with a icy light, ice replacing the flame that had flickered across it.

Will sheathed his blade quickly, and then pulled out his shotgun, and loaded it quickly. He undid the frost sheild he had previously put up, and aimed. He shot his bullet, it igniting with darkness swirling around it towards this opponent. Will then fired another shot, about 1 second after. This time it had a fury of flames around it. The bullet of darkness stood out against the blinding white of the room, as much as Will did. That shot was one to test his opponent. The other ones with flames that licked across it was to injure him.

Will then slung back his shotgun as quick as he could, it took about 2 seconds. Will slowly opened the door behind him, revealing a enviroment of a lava flow, with small platforms everywhere that looked like their stabillity was in question. Will then activated his handblade. Then unsheathed his obsidian blade. It still shone with an icy light. He was ready for any attack his opponent had for him. If all else failed, he would run.

Ryu bit his lip in frustration after seeing that his attack had failed, he did this alot, but now he had to focus,because now shotgun shells were rushing toward him.The first one swirling with darness, the second spiraled with flames.Ryu slid to the right quickly, dodging the first, he attempted to dodge the second bullet but it seemed to have knicked the back of his neck.

A small amount of blood was sliding down the back of his neck.He placed his hand where the blood was and wiped it off, there was still a small flow of blood leaking.He now noticed that his opponent was gone, but he was sure he had went through the door across from him.

Ryu ran over to the door and stopped.He grasped the knob, and quickly took his hand off, it was hot, there must be some sort of fire source inside.Ryu grabbed and opened the door quickly.He opened the door and was revealed to a room of lava with many platforms.Ryu jumped on one about four platforms away from his opponent.

Ryu noticed that some of the lava was hardened, he'd have to use a combination of earth and fire control.He took a deep breath and gathered some of the lava.He circled his fists and shot some of the lava he had gathered toward his opponent.Quickly after he had done this he clenched his fists, spaced his feet a bit, and readied himself to use the lava again if neccesary.

Saying he sensed someone isn't powerplaying, D2l. Some strong creatures let off amazingly huge magical vibes, and some creatures sense it. It in no way, well, HURT knives, so it doesn't matter.

I know that, but usually one tries not to even mention their opponent in first post unless wondering who it is/what it is or something along that line. And even though it did not HURT knives it was minimal PPing. Anyway, let the battle continue.

[Zabazu]

The lava shot towards Will in a fiery wrathful burst. Will did not know what to do. He quickly recollected in his mind what spells may work. A spell of conjuration came to his mind, and he muttered a few words, and a mass of water appeared infront of the lava, creating a large hot rock.Chunks of the rock rained down on Will, creating small cuts on his face and arms. A large gash appeared in his sword arm, and he swore in pain.

He summoned some of his magical strength, and controlled the lava around him, allowing it to harden and cool, creating rock. It expanded into a orb around Will, and was solid, and impermeable. He stood up slowly in the orb, and commanded the elements around him ( the orb) to lower into the lava, so he could attack his opponent when he least expected so.

Now in the lava underneath his opponent, and in a orb of cold rock, that protected him from the extremly heated lava around him. He sheated his sword, and pulled out several throwing knives, one of electricity, one of ice, and another of light. Hesmirked and thought about which spells he could use, to attack as well, choosing two or three for attack, and one for defense.

In the orb he silently arose, behind where he assumed his opponent was, since a energy surronded the area. He drewhis arm in a throwing position, and then surfaced, the orb of rock turning into a platform around him, and leapt into the air. He threw two throwing knives at the man, and then held onto the last one, of electricity. He landed back onto the platform, and looked at the door to the left wall, and then jumped to a platform right before it. He turned to his opponent, waiting for a counter-attack.

He watched as his opponent sunk into the lava, he had no idea where he was now, this wasn't good.He looked around and hoped to catch some clue to where he might be, but unfortunately did not, and by then it was too late.His opponent had arose from the lava, Ryu attempted to turn around and attempt for some counter-action,but two knives sunk into his shoulder.

Ryu grasped his aching shoulder in pain, quickly he removed the knives from his shoulders.He bit his lip once more, this time, not only in frustration, but in pain as well.This time he had biten it so hard it started to bleed.Ryu saw that his opponent was now waiting by another door for him.

Ryu took another deep breath and brushed some of the blood off his shoulder.Ryu stretched his arms out to the side, then as he clasped them together he used his power of earth control to move all the platforms(including the one under his opponents feet) into one big boulder of hardened lava rocks.Ryu then launched the boulder toward his opponent.His opponent would not only have to find another surface to stand on, but also dodge the huge boulder headed his way.Ryu was intrigued and hoped that his opponent would find a creative way to escape from this.

[Zabazu]

Will felt his platform slip out from underneath him. He was flung into the air, and into the rock wall. The platform went into the middle of the room, into a molten rock ball. Will was hanging on to the wall by one hand, and he then stabbed the wall with his other hand, with his knife into the wall. He hung on until he heard a odd rumbling noise.

The molten rock ball was being flung at him. He was only seconds away from being crushed.He let go with his left hand, and still held on with his right, turning to the magma ball. He raised his palm, and yelled " WROS!" a bolt of light struck out of his hand and into the ball. The ball then broke into smaller ones, of which several hit Will over his torso. One struck his hand, and he fell. He was falling, and falling, and at the last moment he muttured a word, and pointed to the approaching lava beneath him.

It hardened into a platform by being in contact with a wave of Ice. Will crashed down onto it, and slowly got up. Will then ran to the next door, which was next to the platform he just had made. Will opened the door and rushed in, to meet a wave of ice, and snow. He ran, and his attire froze over a bit. Will shivered, and continued on.
