Tournament time!

...Okay, no. Close. But, not quite. You see, there's a little problem: I barely know anything about battling. o__o; Yeah. I know. HORRORHORROR. D:

So, I come with a little survey that'll be up for about a week to get answers on what exactly people want in a tournament and so I can get an idea of how these normally work out. o.o;

Basically, I wanna know if members should take more control over the tournament, rather than mods, or backwards. I say yes more member control over it, but... that's just me! :D;

Anyways, if you want a tournament, just fill this little thing about. >.>; And, yush, number three DOES suck. I know what that one's gonna get... 8O

[x] Yes - Basic rules, I think it should be more about having fun. Then again, it could be a great opportunity for the semi-literate to improve.

[x] No It would be better done with more moderators, but some members that proved worthy to the rp mods could help out (i.e. judge).

[x] Yes Basic rules are fine, but I suggest that there be different "classes" of the tournament for people who feel overwhelmed about fighting veterans, or people who WANT to fight more experienced people. Nobody likes to be utterly destroyed in the first round. D:

I suggest not pushing it all on one person (like Endless Devoid) because it's far too much work for any one member, and causes them to rush and not judge to their full potential. >_>

Also, we should actually GET a prize this time, ya know. A banner is always nice.

I agree with all that he has said, except for the tournament sucking. I feel disgusted of myself for losing in the Semi-Final.

1. A plotline may hook more competitors, if it is good enough.

2. Giving freedom may create more creativity from our members, if properly controlled.

Yes and no don't work when you have two options. I don't think it's really right to have someone kicked out because they forget a comma here and there, or spell a few words wrong. As The Marauder said, I doubt any illiterates will make it very far anyways.

...ZOMG. I ACTUALLY GOT SOMETHING. 8O;

And, apparently, the members controlling it completely is a bad thing... >.>; What about this? Three members were picked to be judges and would also oversee the whole tournament. A mod [Probably me. D8;] would completely oversee the tournament, plan everything out, etc. while the three judges would have their say in things. And the three members would be... erm... probably one of the three best people to judge in the battle section. I just dunno who exactly that would be, though. >.>; Or maybe a mix of the best judges and the best battlers... *shrug* I dunno. :D;

And, I gots a question for you all 8O; Since a plot is a good thing for a tournament, would anyone be interested in bringing the Super Fantasy Fighters Melee thing back? Maybe not with teams, but at least the plot. o.o;
