| Banned | Well, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. For my time here, that end is nigh. There are many reasons that I am taking what is for me the last train out of here, but I would rather not discuss them all. Indeed I have been in unofficial retirement for some time, having not fought a real battle or participated in a surviving RP for months. Now, however, it is time to end things for good. I know what you will say: "Oh, he'll be back in a month or less!" and maybe you'll be right, but I somehow doubt this. In any case, before I leave, I want to extend a hand to anyone who wishes to fight me. I don't care if I have faced you before or not, I want to face you now. Anyone and everyone is invited to join this fight, but I want good and balanced characters, not some of the "cheese" I have lately seen around here. I don't care whether this is a 1 vs. world or team fight, but if you want teams I will only take on a maximum of two teammates. If it is 1 vs. world, I will fight any and all characters at once. If someone wishes to team with me, then if the team defeats all challengers it will probably become an every-man-for-himself fight. I encourage everyone who can participate to do so, as this is my goodbye to all of you. After the fight, I will make a short address, however. That will likely be the last post I ever make here. So, on to the challenge. As the title suggests, the fight will take place in Saldor. This, I believe, is fitting for both myself and my character. I have not decided on an exact location to begin, but that will be decided when I know exactly how many people will be participating in the fight. Win, lose, or draw; I am fairly sure Dunjay will walk away from this fight alive... If you don't know why by now, you will find out later. Don't let that deter you from the fight, however, as winning is not always synonymous with killing. Spectacular things will happen in this fight, that is assured. There is an old saying that goes, "Save the best for last." and that is exactly what I have in store. That being the case, I hope you will take to heart what I have said and join. Signups will be open for at least a week, as I want maximum participation. There should be no need for me to post my template at this point, but I would like to see any templates of fighters I have not yet faced off against. Rules should also be known to all, and thus I dont believe I need to elaborate on them. There may be minor "god-moding" due to the circumstances of this fight, but it is nothing that a capable fighter will be unable to handle. Name: Dunjay Talkesh (XXXIV) Race: Seiron Age: 34 Appearance: Five layers of robes serve as an armor for Dunjay. The robes are all pure white with a regal silver lining. Two blade holsters rest on either side of the long sleeved robe, holding the blades on each end of his glass chain, Vajra. An electrical trail can faintly be seen streaming around and through his body, showing his immense thunderous power. Dunjay has long brown hair, bright green eyes, and a clearly defined face. Standing six and a half feet tall, he is tall and slim. Dunjay wears no gloves so as not to restrict his powers of teleportation. Personality: Dunjay is usually lighthearted and joyful, but is full of resolve in times of need. Determined and motivated by his passions, few things (and people) can stand in his way when he is on a mission. When angered, he keeps his cool and acts as rationally as ever. Still, Dunjay keeps an upbeat attitude under normal circumstances. He always seems to have a joke up his sleeve, and tends to make fun of even the most grim situations. Another interesting fact is Dunjay's adversity to cold weather. It doesn't physically hurt him, but Dunjay strongly dislikes figid temperatures. He would much rather be in a location that would be too warm for people as opposed to too cold. Bio: Long ago, two immensely powerful mages erected a shield around the realm os Saldor to block out the evils of the outside universe. These two mages were Dunjay Talkesh and Arelyn Saiymeth, legends of their time. Soon, their passion for their homeland became a passion for eachother, and they had a single male child. Their intentions in raising the shield were to ensure eternal peace for Saldor, but their good intentions had bad consequences. In their bloodthirst and greed, the people of Saldor began quarreling amongst themselves. Two rival nations arose, the Dregklar Empire and the Iron coalition. As the tension between the two nations increased, a bloody civil war erupted. Dunjay and Arelyn, who had joined the Iron Coalition, were captured by Dregklar forces and executed. Their child was taken into the care of three friends of theirs, and carried on the family name. For thousands upon thousands of years since that time, the two dominant powers of the realm of Saldor have been at war. Somehow, the Talkesh family line survived through the ages, even though the death toll of the war passed into uncountable figures. 24 years ago, another Talkesh was born, and was given the name of Dunjay. He was the son of two proud mages, but he was to never know his parents. Only four months after his birth, they were both killed during a raid conducted by the Dregklar Empire. Dunjay was taken in by a mage in the Coalition's Army who trained him in the atr of magic. Still, Dunjay was never able to cast spells. Instead he developed a knack for manipulating electricity, which he first used to turn the lights in the capitol dome on and off. Needless to say, he was a handful when he was a child, but was tolerated. At the age of 16, Dunjay's talent for electricity manipulation was so profound that he was made Archmage of the Iron Coalition. As a political position, being Archmage gave Dunjay the power to avenge the deaths of his parents. Still, he fulfilled his duty justly and did not try to end any vandettas. A year later, he moved to his own apartment in Minos, the capital city of the Iron Coalition. At 19, he embarked on a quest to end the war and lower the shield surrounding Saldor. Developing a new ability of teleportation on the way, he also made friends with new companions. Among these companions was Vannah Olwyn, who Dunjay developed a romantic interest in. After an extensive quest, Dunjay killed Emperor Kufar, the leader of the Dregklar Empire. With Vannah, he lowered the shield around Saldor, completing his life goal. Upon returning to Minos, Dunjay was greeted as a king. After the overthrow of Kufar, the people of Saldor wanted to reform the Iron Coalition into the Second Kingdom of Saldor. Dunjay became king by popular demand, and soon after married Vannah. The two have now ruled Saldor for over four years, and an age of peace has begun. Still, old habits die hard, and Dunjay has stuck with a rigorous training schedule. Throughout this period of peace in the Kingdom, Dunjay has made time to travel to various lands, battling many great and powerful foes. Weapons: Vajra - A glass battle chain forged by Dunjay himself. To construct his mighty weapon, Dunjay had his servants collect the purest white sand from the farthest reaches of Saldor. With the help of his etheral ancestor of the same name, Dunjay forged this sand into chain links using his own lightning. Infused with the element of electricity, the chain can not only conduct it, but also produce it. After Vajra was formed, Dunjay called forth a council of the most renowned sages in the kingdom, many of which were also good friends of his. These sages etched an inscription into the glass surface which reads, "This weapon, Vajra the impartial smiter, shall be wielded only by the most virtuous of all men: Dunjay Talkesh. The body of this weapon shall not shatter by the means of any other, nor by the means of lesser magical energies. The stroke of this trammel shall be the gravamen of the attack, and all touched shall be sundered." Vajra is not all looks, for as far as anyone know, the chain is indeed indestructible. As mentioned above, Dunjay almost always uses the chain in conjunction with his magical abilities. The Staff of Magus Major - A weapon of nearly limitless power constructed and wielded by Magus Major, grandest of the Saldorian gods. Being the god of good-intentioned magic, Magus Major imbued the staff with the power to wield and convert raw magical energy, an ability known as Spellfire. By Spellfire, a spell can be absorbed and converted to raw and unruly magical energy or vice-versa. Spellfire energy cannot be controlled by anyone without the specific ability to do so. The Staff of Magus Major also allows the wielder to control this raw magical energy and have it do his bidding, though the energy can cause only destruction if not converted for some other cause. The Staff can be used as a close-combat weapon without wisk of any damage, but on impact it releases a burst of magical energy. Special Abilities: Dunjay's main offensive power and passion is his manipulation of electricity. From sparks of static to magnificent lightning bolts, Dunjay has the ability to amplify and absorb electricity in all of its forms. Although he cannot cast spells of any type, Dunjay is able to summon electricity as if from nowhere. When electrostatic energy passes through him, he can absorb it at will - no matter what the source is. In accordance with this ability, Dunjay has also developed a resistance to heat. By working for so long with lightning, perhaps the hottest substance in all of the Omniverse, Dunjay has become immune to the adverse effects of heat. This does not mean he is fire-proof, but it does mean that attacks such as firestorms will not cause him any harm. In addition to his unsurpassed control over electricity, Dunjay has the ability to teleport. By phasing into the astral plane and back, Dunjay can appear at will on any plane in a place of his choosing. Normally, Dunjay only teleports to places he has seen himself, as blind plane-shifting is a very dangerous thing. When one teleports somewhere they have never been before, the likelihood is very high that they will not materialize on solid ground, but rather in the dark depths of space, which spells certain and immediate death. This Teleportation ability is not limited only to himself, as he can teleport anything he is touching, including other people. Teleportation drains his stamina, but he has increased this through endurance training. Teleportation now has little effect on Dunjay under normal circumstances. Problems arise, however, when Dunjay attempts to teleport large masses. As a general rule, the larger the mass, or the longer the distance; the more teleportation drains Dunjay's stamina. Dunjay's final ability lies in his bloodline. Somehow, he can recall knowledge and memories of past ancestors with his name. This power is still very mysterious to Dunjay himself, and is not controlled willfully. As the need arises, however, Dunjay has been known to have fleeting visions or flashbacks regarding important factors in battle. With broad shoulders, a handsome chin, and chisled muscles. He has a greyish skin, and pointed ears, with long white hair. His eyes shin a unnatural green, and his voice is oddly smooth. He has a Black chest peice, composed of overlapping mithril scales, which are nearly unbreakable. Gold dye articulate it. Two metal shouldpad, composed out of one dragon scale each, that was hammered down , and articulated to create such beautiful shoulders, with gold dye on it, creating wonderful patterns. A Black Helm rests upon his head, made out of Mithril plating, and is also colored black, it also has gold articulating it. The Helm has a visor that covers most of Faroks face, and has only his eyes showing, so his sight is not hindered. Between the all the armor he has is brown studded leather, to somewhat protect his unarmored regions. His Greaves and leggings are similar to the chest peice, in that they are black, and mithril,and have the gold dye, but the leggings are composed of silver links and black plates, and the boots are just studded leather with metal covering them on the soles, and top. His greaves are also Black and gold, but rather that scaly, they are rigid, and sharp to the touch, creating a perfect melee weapon for close combate Weapons: - A large halbard with blades on each side, with just the right weight and balance so Farok can weild it with ease. with a pure black obsidian blade on it top of it, A oddly shaped axe-head,made out of titanium, and covered with other unknown metals, that are nigh unbreakable. It's bottem blade it composed of the same materials, jut out into a small blade. Each blade has an enchantment placed upon it, so at the wielders whim, they can have almost an aura around them of the element that the weilder wishes. Fire, Ice, Water, Light, Darkness, you name it. It is the sister weapon of Agunmont, the blade of Will. It's name is 'Ar' osh' - A strong bow, made out of a curious wood, found deep in the forest of archos. The tree was said to posess a powerful magic aura, and one day, a villager cut it down, and made several fine weapons, and now only the bow remains. It's name is 'runos' Biography: Born to a half-elf, and a orc, Farok was immediatly disowned by the rest of the children while growing up, he looked awkward then, and otehrs could not accept his outlandish appearance. His parents, because they feared for him, sent him away to a relative, who lived in the elvish lands of Silva. He then grew up, with others accepting him, because most elves had a wider view on life there. But there still were those who hated him. His sparring teacher, and a stablemaster still could not accept him, though there were many more than that. They simply did not say it in his face. He grew up then, with a wider veiw on life, and when he came to age to train for magic, gave up, not beign able to weild much of it. He then travelled to oukthra, a Orcish town, where he trained for the Orcish army, and became stronger, and better than fighting than most orcs there. He eventually retired from the army, after 25 years of service, and became a hermit. Though while in service he had earned the rank of captain, and had found many curios items during his conquest. One was the bow,Runos. He had been given Ar'osh as a present from a town he had saved. It was their treasure. Farok still trained everyday, and knew that a new threat could come. He has to this day, about 15 years later, trained, and mastered his weapons. Abillities: -Magic deficiency , he cannot use any strong spells of the elements, or nature, or of darkness or of light,because of his orc blood. He can still cast some though because of his human, and elf blood. Those he can are of healing,physical, and illusionary, which can manipulate the appearance of anything. - abnormal strength: again because of his Orc, and elf blood. - Aggility: because of his elvish blood. The Merovingian Kings command several different cults, one of which being Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.), a presumptuous society dedicated to many different arts of Magyyk – though, it specializes in the Dark Knacks. Occupation: Dark Sorcerer, a “Syndromus.” A Syndromus dedicates his influence to infectious Magyyk. Residence: He wields no residence; though, Aleister is known to lock himself deep within the Library at Bretherald, the focal library of the Eastern Hemisphere on Adronus, the fourth and most beautiful planet from the third sun in the Solbek Galaxy. The Library is said to hold unlimited knowledge, and is built to privilege this knowledge only to those who are worthy; this is so because beneath the Library is another chamber, comprising several hundred centuries of text. Few have ever had the knowledge to reach its dusty shelves, as only the Curator, Aleister and three of the Merovingian Kings have ventured down there. Very thin spaulders rest upon the leather covering his shoulders and around his chest area – every garment woven with a leathery, brown stitch has extremely thin, chainmail like armor woven into it; this armor, though somewhat effective against physical attacks, acts as a nasty barrier towards many types of magyyk’s. Some physical attacks may be parried, but any being with sufficient amount of strength could easily pierce through. Despite the heavy Magyyk-based defense, Aleister’s red and gold cape is constructed from very rare memory-fiber, along with thin shreds of the rarity of southern rubies, one of the hardest metals known to most. They are almost impenetrable. When applied with Melandrium, the memory-fibers stiffen, aligning themselves evenly with the shreds of ruby ~ this, along with Aleister’s mastery of disease, makes for a powerful defense against physical attacks. (Melandrium is an instant spell, something he has trained to cast at will.) Armaments: ~ Abselom’s Bereavement: An antique of the past forgotten, the origins of the Syndromus, Abselom’s Bereavement is a beast of a staff, magyykically held together by the ashes of the disease’s of yore, the fathers of sickness ~ The Purges, known more commonly as the Plagues. This staff of ash was forged from the Original Intent of each plague: (Dam, Tsfardeia, Kinim, Arov, Dever, Shkhin, Barad, Arbeh, Choshech, Makat Bechorot) Aleister contains a few other weapons, of which will be revealed during battle. ~Personality~ ~ Aleister Seid is often confused for that of an Oracle; wise is he in his lexis, and knowledgeable of many things has he come to endure. Yet, even though he is capable of seeking out peace within himself, incapable is Aleister to show empathy for those beneath him. Cleverly weaved through the moral fibers that thread his wisdom into one are scraps of arrogance, potent and everlasting. Though, do not mistake him for a kind man, given you are privileged his respect ~ yes, he is wise, but with his infinite wisdom comes a terrible ecstasy: dark humor. Aleister has a dark sense of humor about him, something no ordinary mind would be adept enough to comprehend. His stained wit exceeds all others, and his insight only serves to bring himself even further into self-content In the heat of battle, Aleister is slow with the words; however, outside of battle, they are spewed like fire, and like flame they bring whomever they are directed at to anger. In the center of this small swarm are two eyeballs, of which are his seeing as how he has yet to master the modus operandi revolving around the Locust Manifestation. Do not be fooled by his aged appearance; Aleister is quick on the feet, of the hands and arms, and all things concerning the physical body. Given that Aleister has succumbed to the power of knowledge and wisdom as a whole, he has opened many junctions stitching together the Omniversal planes. Aleister, through recognition of the mind and body as a lone existence, is capable of traversing the Astral Plane, allowing him to create lucid black, infection nightmares ~ in essence, an illusion magic. Aleister does not heal wounds, he infects them – his skin, though beautifully constructed, is naught more than a false mask. Disease flows through his entire bodily system, troubling many who come into contact with him. Beneath his skin is another layer of skin, which is crystal clear in its appearance; this said, Aleister has two sets of eyelids, teeth forming under his visual teeth, and so on. Besides his mastery of syndromic Magyyk and speed, Aleister is the embodiment of The Sickness, the worst and most noxious of ailments to hit that side of the universe. It's power is beyond most people's wildest dreams. It is said that Dracon destroy an entire planet with just one swing of this mghty sword. The blade of the sword is literally unbreakable. It can send shockwaves towards opponents and it has a hidden untapped power that only works when Ryu has died. It allows Ryu be resurrected by darkness if enough is around and allows Dracon to be resurrected by darkness or, light but, it only works once with Ryu and twice with Dracon since Dracon can be resurrected by two elements. It's blade is of a rare metal that is basically unbreakable. Abilities: Darkness control: Ryu has the ability to control darkness to a very high degree. Ryu can use shadow balls, Dark beams, he can create a dark realm of existence, he can create a dome of darkness, he can go inside shadows and much more. He can also heal himself using darkness but, there has to be alot around or, he can only heal minor wounds. Izaroth, land of pure darkness, can be accessed by Ryu. In Izaroth, Ryu's darkness powers are enhanced dramatically. Dark Matter: He can also control Dark Matter, one of the strongest forms of energy around. There are many things that can be done by using dark matter. Ryu can make a planet implode on itself if there is an abundant source of dark matter in the core of the planet. He can create very powerful spheres of dark matter, beams of dark matter, he can create dark matter clones, and so much more. Ryu can also teleport using the power of dark matter. Light control: This can only be done once Dracon takes control of the body. Dracon can do so many things with the powers of light. He can create weapons, objects, sheilds, barriers, and many different attacks that have to do with light. He can change the very realm of existence to a different realm known only as Asgard, land of holy light. In Asgard, Dracon's light powers are enhanced dramatically. Advanced Reflexes. Soul of Dracon: This transformation takes place when Ryu takes off the bandages on his head and around his abdomen. The seals upon his body begin to glow black and Ryu transforms into Dracon, the Holy reaper. He becomes stronger, faster, and all around better. His powers are pushed beyond their limit and Ryu's body and the Drakana takes a change in appearence. This form uses the power of light. Dracon can use it to his very whim. Instead of two users, they both control the body as one. They have heightened senses, and their strength and speed is beyond that of the Soul of Dracon. Their power becomes nearly unstoppable but, the longer they stay in this form, the more strain they put on the body. This form allows them to use darkness, light, and dark matter. Legion takes a different appearence and Ryu's body under goes a drastic change. Forged Soul appearence: http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j2...dowWarrior.jpg Death moves: working on them Souls of the Forgotten (Forged Soul): They call upon the souls of the warriors they have killed or fought alongside to aid them. The souls swarm around the opponent, either attacking the opponent or, making the opponent unable to move for limited time. Heavens awakning (Soul of Dracon): The sky above opens up and a bright light from heaven shines upon the enemy and begins to burn him/her. Thirty angels began to fly down from heaven and each one attacks the enemy firecely. Finally A meteor made of pure holy light flies down from the heaven and crushes the enemy. Crush Halo (Soul of Dracon): Dracon puts his hand into the air and a halo made of light takes a solid form above his hand. He then sends it at the opponent and it wraps around him/her. It slowy crushes their body and it can crush as fast or slow as Dracon wants it to. Reaper's Blight (Ryu): Darkness creates a pit under the opponent's feet and they fall in. They then land on a bunch of black skeletons. The darkness covers the skeletons and they become reanimated. They clutch onto the opponent and the Grim Reaper appears in front of the opponent. It points at the opponent and then slashes the opponent three times with his scythe. Illusionary Devastation (Ryu): In order for this Illusion to work, Ryu must make direct contact with opponent's face with a shadow ball. The shadow ball then spreads around the opponent's face and it begins to mess with eyes. The opponent begins to see the deaths of him and his family over and over again. The shadow then leaves after three seconds but, it feels like an eternity to the opponent. This should leave the opponent off balanced and mentally hurt for a while. | Banned | I am pleased with the turnout so far. I will not decide on number of teammates (if any) until just before the battle. I want this to be as large as possible, which is why I will continue to leave the signups open for some time. ANYONE who submits a template (Unless I already know the character) may participate. Post 'em up and invite some friends. I'll check back in a few days... |
