| Future Attorney of Life | I was conferencing with some other Role-Players from my past, and they brought up a concept that I had originally forgotten about -- Psychosphere. The Psychosphere is the Omni-collective of Consciousness. Everyone is connected to it in some way, shape or form -- even Gods. This brings me to my new character, who, unless I give out the drastic weakness, I think will be undefeatable PC wise. Thing is... by playing him right, I can...well, you'll have to find out. So this match is first come, first serve! Who wants to be the Guine-- er, have an opportunity to face me PC style!?! RP-Plate: RP Battle Style: Power Character Battlegrounds: The Final Battle Stage from Super Smash Brothers Melee... I guess it would be in some dimension on some plane. We'll just stick it on the Material Plane. Rules: Standard PC Rules apply. This won't be Continuum, since there will be no way that the opponent can win -- See? You have to state if it's NOT Continuum. I'll post this character after I see my opponent. Note: This character exploits the loopholes in Rules. A cheap kill may be the result. However, this character CAN be taken down. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I'll have a go Keg. ![]() Of course, I might need to sort through my repertoire of characters first. Mitsukai isn't exactly available at the moment, regardless that this isn't continuum <<< that's really how you spell it? |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | My apologies, I had been distracted by something. I've decided to use Espal, I really liked this character, and despite he's going to die anyway, I can at least have some fun using him. Hah, he always was an expendable tool. ___ Name: Espal Ytirev Age: 221 Human Years (Appears 17) Gender: Male Race: Cahren Appearance: Slender and elegant; Espal maintains an involuntary level of sophistication at most times, regardless of his occupation as an assassin. His most noticeable features (when visible) are his eyes, two rather dull orbs of grey matter. His long dark blue hair usually serves as a veil on most occasions, hiding these eyes entirely and gently falling just past his shoulders. He possesses a pale complexion; like many assassins who prefer a camisado. As with his eyes, Espal’s mouth is usually hidden by a thin black mask that runs down his neck and around his upper torso; which is hidden by his uniquely shortened black kimono. His hands and feet are entirely covered in jet black bandages that run up his arms and legs all the way down to his toes and fingertips. His fingertips are protected by talon-like blades, and his sandals have curved blades running off their heels. He is practically a shadow in his attire; the only skin visible being that on his face. Personality: Espal prefers to remain rather secretive with his emotions; he isn’t exactly talkative, but communicates if required. He always seems to be distracted, but insists that he is in deep thought. He seems driven by a withheld desire, his sense of justice some how twisted; intermingled with vengeance to produce an almost unpredictable outcome whenever he is faced with difficult decisions. Bio: Espal lives to serve his “Master”. His whole life has revolved around this being, as far as he was supposed to know, though even the unbearable years of torture designed to engrave “loyalty” into the mind of this utterly expendable servant couldn’t erase the one secret that Espal has withheld and treasured. He is Cahren, a race of silver-skinned beings who thrived on a twisted religion based on necrotic worship, partaking in ceremonies that involved sacrifices; one in particular that all Cahren must partake in: the elimination of one of their fives senses. Because Cahren worshipped life and death, they believed they had to offer one of their “senses” as a sacrifice, this serving as a form of medium for being granted life. Espal was spared the memorable pain and had his sight taken away from him at an early age. The theft of his sight was administered with two simple eye drops; an ancient poison native to Cahrenia that drained the colour from his eyes along with his ability to ever see again. Scenes of these early experiences still flickered through his mind every now and then. Espal couldn’t decipher them at first, but as the scenes grew clearer in his mind, so did his understanding. When he questioned, his Master revealed the truth. He had been discovered, the lone survivor of a relentless assault that devastated his planet and killed his entire race. His Master decided to make use of him and moulded him into the cold-hearted killer he was today. As time passed Espal acknowledged his new life, and grew to become rather grateful of his Masters actions. He may have been disrespected for the majority of his life as a lowly servant of death, but he had been taught so much, eventually becoming his Master’s prized pupil in the art of assassination. As a reward for his efforts, he was bestowed upon with the gift of a sacred magic, one entirely beneficial to his profession; the ancient shadow arts. With the ability to manipulate shadows and the demonic arts of the unholy assassins, Espal was ready to become his Master’s left-hand man, the weapon that would dispose of all who stood in his way. Weapons: A Pair of bone-white Kodachi, forged from two of Espal’s ribs. Powers: Illusion Magic Manipulation of the light received through a targets retina to produce faux perception; basically false imagery. Shadow Arts The ability to use Shadows; this power grants the user the ability to use lights offspring, the darkness. Raise an army of shadows and have them obey your every command! The attack and defence capabilities of shadows are almost endless! Shadow Step A teleportation technique that allows the user to move at the speed of light, it’s called a shadow step because when the user disperses into the atmosphere, darkness converges to fill where they once stood. Home world: Cahrenia Theme song: My Chemical Romance – The Ghost of You |

| Future Attorney of Life | OOC: Okay, after much editing and getting pissed off at myself, I finally wrote this character correctly. So, without further ado, here is, Corunis Atalier Name: Corunis Atalier Age: Time doesn't apply to that which has been Gender: Corunis takes the form of Male Race: Entity Class -- Manifest Appearance: How does one describe the appearance of Consciousness? Throughout the ages, this has been a perpetual inquiry upon those who considered themselves Gods, from those who were considered lower. It was that in fact consciousness had no set appearance. It took whatever was propitious to it at that given time. Usually, it took something that was cogent to others as so it could very well blend upon them and never have to raise a weapon, merely, wipe them out. In his true form, he is nothing but a manifestation of consciousness upon whichever plane he has traveled. In this current mark upon time, for this small, unimportant warrior that appears to fight Consciousness, he has taken the appearance of a young elf. He has pale, beautiful and appealing skin. He has taken the gender of, well, male, obviously. No abrasion of any sort daunts his skin. Long, flowing, silver hair erupts from the scalp as flowers erupting from a field with the coming of spring. He stands approximately at the height of the average High Elf, and weighs about as much. His eyes consist of a dark, oceanic blue, mixed with a hint of sterling silver. The garments that dawn his figure are nothing but simple monk robes, black in color. From the vapid cowl, to the unoriginal sandals. The only thing that is different upon his form is a necklace, with an odd-shaped amulet that dangles upon his chest. It takes the shape of a nine-point star, with an X through it. Personality: It always seems agog in the entropic attributes of its natural nature. Seeing as how it has no one personality, it utilizes the one that it feels most comfortable with in its current form. In this case, it takes the personality of an elf -- noble, intelligent, slightly condescending. However, he has his own, sarcastic, slightly sadistic nature. It was from this nature that it drew the name it would wear for this battle -- Corunis Atalier. Biography: All you need to know is that, as long as there has been consciousness, it has existed. It shall exist until consciousness is no more. Anything else is a waste of time and would take too long to write... Theme Song/Battle Song: Whispers in the Dark -- Skillet Abilities: Complete manipulation of the portion of the Psychosphere that correlates to the plane he's on at the time. Plus the fact that he is manifestation of consciousness... that has a very nice little hidden surprise with it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Mitsukai, you can start this one off. It'll be over soon enough anyway. |

| Future Attorney of Life | Do you see how this could work as an instant kill without God-Moding? It's cheap to the core, but when you have to have that win... it works. This will probably be one of the rare times I use this character. I just want to demonstrate something. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Materialising on the circular stage of his eventual demise, Espal stared up into the blackness of the sky, all the same, whether he was able to see or not, which he wasn't. Though... why bother doing anything? Drawing his kodachi, the only white items he actually possessed, he allowed them to rest gently in the centre of his palms, as he ran his fingers along their smooth surfaces. He liked the feel of his own bones, and the way they connected with someone else's as he plunged them into their chest. He was dazed, disoriented, and euphorical. Reaching for his face, he slowly pulled his mask off the lower half of his face, revealing his pearlescent teeth, unnaturally sharp, and beffiting for any evil man's smile. However, he was not smiling. He rarely did. His fringe, which was equally as long as the rest of his hair, hung over his face, and eliminated the need for a mask which covered it completely. After removing the mask, he had brushed his fringe away from his face, so that any who could watch would see his dull grey eyes. Devoid of emotion. Then, a barely visible form of collective moisture formed in the eyelids of these eyes, and loosening his grip, Espal allowed his kodachi to fall through the air. 'Can you kill me, before they hit the ground? Along with my body?' And with that, he too fell. |

| Future Attorney of Life | Into the escalated frey was something that it was accustomed to doing. Into the flying stage from what looked to be a video game was something it was not. There was a succinct difference in these two arenas, these two atmospheres. However, it did not care into whichever place it was thrown. It was here to kill, and that was what it would do. Anything else would be futile, and a waste of its time, energy, and attention. Onto this stage, a small white sphere floated. It was only about the size of a marble, and looked lighter than air, as it floated around without any sort of preordained destination. How it managed to manifest onto this odd sort of battlefield was only for it to know. As time passed, more of these small spheres seemed to come from out of nowhere, and floated around, in a cloud, associated with the other white spheres. They seemed to nonchalantly float opposite on the stage of this weird being known as Espal. Soon, it was as if they decided to do a dance. Wait, a dance? Why was that so? It made no sense. No, they were not dancing, they were forming into a, well, formation. Soon, they all clumped together into one large white ball of energy, that seemed to radiate a familiar feeling to all who could feel it. It seemed to slowly take form into a humanoid shape... an elf to be exact. Its appearance became clear, and it was finally something else -- he. His name was Corunis Atalier, and he felt that giving this name out was of no importance. As soon as he had manifested completely onto this plane, he could feel it. A huge force that only those of a very, very high level of existance could even begin to fathom. It was known as the Psychosphere -- the Omniversal collective of consciousness. He was a part of it -- in fact, he was the manifestation of it on whatever plane to which he materialized. He could feel the collective consciousness on this plane, and could feel Espal in front of him. That was all that was needed. See, by being the manifestation of consciousness on this plane, that meant that every collective being that was held into consciousness was a part of him. Meaning that, in loss for better words, the enemy was a part of himself. The enemy was him... no, he was the enemy. The enemy ceased to exist by the mere fact that he existed in this place alongside his opponent. That meant the match was over. There was nothing the opponent could do, because by hurting Corunis, he hurt himself, and therefore it was impossible to win. It was a lock. The match was already over. OOC: See? Gotcha. You lose Mits. |

| Banned | Technically, he doesn't lose. It sounds more of a tie-breaker character to me; of course, that character could kill themselves, and then have you killed as well. I'm not exactly sure if it's possible to detroy conscious without destroying the soul. Corunis is sort of an all-or-nothing character, I suppose. He either tie's and keeps both himself and his opponent alive, or his opponent (or he) kill themself, and they both die. However, I'm sure somebody with the ability to escape the physical plane mentally and become one with the Astral could kill you, from my very non-extensive knowledge of the Omniverse. xD I should read up, but hey, I've got shit to do. lol. |

| Future Attorney of Life | Actually, no. See, he is the embodiment of the consciousness on that entire plane. And technically since he is a part of consciousness himself, he survives. Think of him as the collective on that plane, and the enemy as a small part. That enemy dies. Consciousness exists in some way, shape, or form on every plane, every dimension. Since technically dimensions lay within planes (kind of a circle meets circle meets square theorem) it is possible. There IS however, a way to beat him. It has to do with the character, and just what they are. I do know, that in an odd contradiction, a character like Ukiah Oregon wouldn't be affected. He's the manifest of dreams and hope, so if that DOES give you a clue Desert, all the better for ya. However, that was quite a nice guess. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I lose? Did I even... try? I've fulfilled my purpose here. Interesting character. So something like... embodiment vs. embodiment = Nobody wins? Corunis exists as long as consciousness does, and Ukiah exists as long as hope and dreams do? |

| Future Attorney of Life | Well, yes, and no. It depends what it's the embodiment of. There's also certain races that can evade him... and certain techniques. |
