| Banned | Ok, since I'm going to be in the clan tournament for my clan I think I'm going to need to test out my new character for it first. This is NOT an open challenge. I'am calling out Darkness-2-Light and ShadowsFall to a 2v1. Do you have much of a choice? Hmmm....no, not really =D, but I don't think you'd refuse. You'll take this oppertunity to kick my ass without question. Anyways, my character is not exactly finished and WILL be fixed up for the up-coming tournament. Besides....his Bio isn't even finished. Still, ENOUGH has been done on him to be ready to have his first battle soooo.... Yea you know the rules and I'll probably need judges. Judges: 1) 2) 3) The battle will end.....when I say so. Because I'm cool like that. I know your characters fairly well you don't HAVE to post a template, but if you're going to use another character D2L I'll need a tempy from you. So umm....either one of you can choose the battlefield...I really don't care where. Alright, heres my character aaaaaaaaand, let the battle begin! Name: Lucite Darken Age: Unknown, looks in his twenty’s. Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Lucite Weapon(s)/Armor: Night Wing- A sword given to Lucite by his father, who even made the blade himself. It is a light sword, therefore making it easy to wield. Upon the hilt lays a symbol of a black wing with a dark blue circle around it. The very bottom of the hilt can be unscrewed, revealing a compartment where a vial can be stored. Within this vial, Lucite always keeps poison in it to use against his enemies in battle. Blade of Emotions- A blade made by a powerful spell caster many years ago and was locked away, due to the power it held within it. It is a beautiful blue blade, with the hilt in the shape of a black wing. Those who wield the blade can use their emotions as a weapon in battle, but it can be dangerous if used incorrectly. In order to activate the blade’s power the wielder must channel their energy into the blade while having a thought in their mind that represents ONE emotion. If the thought is mixed with another emotion the wielder will receive a powerful shock of electricity coming from the blade itself, which can kill most men if they are not strong enough. If done correctly the wielder will be surrounded in an aura that matches the emotion that was chosen, and each emotion has its own powers. Only those who have full control of their emotions can wield this powerful blade properly. Wings- These wings are made out of pure steel, painted black, and are attached to his body armor. As long as he’s surrounded in one of the emotional auras he can control the wing’s movement with his mind. However, he cannot fly with them. They are more used as shields when he is being attacked when he doesn’t have time to lift his weapons up to block it. Abilities: Before Lucite became leader of Silent Shadows he was taught many things by their former leader. Their former leader was psychic and was able to manipulate his surroundings. He trained Lucite until he eventually learned the art of this ability and was able to manipulate his surroundings as well. Still, there are a few things that he can only manipulate through certain auras of the Blade of Emotion. And, at times, his mind can lose control due to the fact that every time an aura is activated his personality instantly changes. If this happens too many times he may faint or get knocked out for some time, which can be dangerous during battle. Levitation- Self exclamatory, he can use his mind to levitate his surroundings at will. Still, though he has mastered this ability, there are just some things that simply take up too much energy to levitate and would be futile to attempt doing. He still has to strengthen his senses in order to be able to levitate such things. Poison Manipulation- Lucite can control poison, strictly, with his mind, to his advantage. He is able to manipulate the poison so that it is able to take the shape of anything that he wants it to. Most of the time he uses it to take the shape of needles to pierce the enemy’s flesh and enter his/her’s body so that he is able to control the poison within the enemy and cause fatal damage. He can also use the poison to surround the tip of one of his swords, or both. Wind Manipulation- By using his mind, Lucite can manipulate the wind to his advantage in battle. He is able to create tornados and, ultimately, control their movement as they destroy everything in their path. He is also able to manipulate the wind, in such a way, that it forms into a disc, which is powerful enough to cut through the toughest of armor. It also travels at a high speed. Auras: Anger- Once he channels his energy into the Blade of Emotion and picture an angry thought, he is immediately surrounded in a red aura. The aura emits intense heat, which will burn anything that is two feet away from him. They will probably start to feel the heat when they are about six feet away. Only while in this aura is he able to manipulate fire with his mind. Evil- Once he channels his energy into the Blade of Emotion and pictures an evil doing that he has done in the past; he is immediately surrounded in a dark aura. Only while in this aura is he able to manipulate darkness with his mind. Sorrow- Once he channels his energy into the Blade of Emotion and pictures a sad memory, he is immediately surrounded in a blue aura. The moment the aura has appeared an explosion of ice shards, from his past tears, will come from the aura, flying in all directions. Only while in this aura is he able to manipulate ice with his mind. Determination- Once he channels his energy into the Blade of Emotion and lets the feeling, of being able to complete his task at hand, take over his mind he is immediately surrounded in a green aura. The aura will only slightly increase his strength and will also, only while in this aura, give him the ability to manipulate earth with his mind. Bio: Lucite was born in a time where wars were going on everyday. Because of this, he was always interested in it and wanted to become a warrior. His father taught him everything he knew about martial arts and military strategies. As the years went on Lucite learned everything else on his own and become a decent fighter fairly quickly. His father was proud of him and handed him his sword. Shortly after, when he was seventeen years old, he left his home and became a wanderer. For a short time Lucite hunted to survive and practically lived in the forest. He took a liking to nature and would always sit at the top of a tree, looking out into the distance. There was always something that caught his eye almost immediately whenever he would look. A small fortress could be seen from where he looked and a few people within it could be seen as well, even though they, pretty much, looked like dots from the distance that he was at. Lucite always wondered who that fortress belonged too, but he never really took the time to go over there and check. There was also something else he wondered as well. For the time that he has lived in the forest, not once had he seen anyone from the fortress come to the forest to hunt for food. Again, he never really took much interest in it; it was just something to think about when he had nothing else to do. One day, however, a few of his questions were answered. Lucite was getting water from the river, nearby, when he heard something move behind him. For a split second he stopped and looked, but he was used to that kind of thing and didn’t find it much of a threat. A few moments later something jumped out of the bushes and went to strike him from behind, with a katana. Though Lucite wasn’t expecting this he was never unarmed. He drew his father’s sword and parried the attacker’s blow. They both stopped and looked at each other. The attacker was a man, the same age as Lucite, with short brown hair and green eyes. He wore light, red, armor and a headband, matching his armor. The man introduced himself as Zach and apologized for attacking him. “I mistaken you for a weakling” Zach said with a grin. Lucite didn’t trust him, but he still sheathed his father’s sword and introduced himself as well. They talked to each other for the rest of the day and they became friends. “You’ve been living in the forest for a while, eh? I should come hunting more often. I and a small group of warriors live at that fortress not far from here. I bet you’ve seen it by now. We don’t really need to hunt on a regular basis because we steal food from other bases when we raid them. It’s a lot more fun than hunting” Zach explained, with a chuckle. He had a cocky attitude and a huge ego. To him life was a game. “You know…I only judged you from one move, how ‘bout a friendly spar?” Zach asked, drawing his sword. Lucite laughed “With real blades? We’ll kill each other….you’re on” he replied, accepting his challenge. And so the sound of blades striking each other went on until sunset. They were both tired by then and that’s when Zach offered to come to his fortress to join the pack of warriors. Lucite agreed and they both left the forest, heading toward the fortress. | Banned | (Alright then. Let's begin this now, before my writer's block kicks in. The posting order will be: Wolfy, SF, and DD. If you are to break this order, however, you will be smacked. The battle will end...when I say so. Most likely when we all post up to 10 or 15 posts. We'll see how it goes. The location will be described in my post. Good luck to you both.) It was dark, with the only source of light coming from the stars and the full moon, which had a yellowish color. The midnight sky looked purple as it showed, absolutely, no clouds. A forest lay beneath the sky, with a lake, surrounded by trees. Every tree, however, had been stripped of their leaves. Upon the ground lay, about, a foot's worth of snow. Some of it, of course, lay upon the branches of the trees as well. Not one animal could be seen for miles. The silence seemed to actually haunt the area as the stillness of the water showed the sky's reflection, as well as the trees that surrounded the lake. If someone were actually there, looking at the reflection of the lake, they would notice that something...strange. Every single one of the trees had snow on them, but one of them was actually dripping with water... as if the snow had just melted. The drops of water slowly travelled, down the branch, untill it reached the very tip of it before it fell down upon the snow covered ground. On top one of the branches, however, laid a black bird, with its eyes shut. It stood completely still as the water continued to drip from the branches of the tree. Suddenly it cocked its head to the side and snapped its eyes open, as if it had heard something that frightened it. But if anything looked even remotely frightening in the area it was the bird itself. It had four, blood red, eyes. One extra eye on top of the original ones. Most warriors who see something like that would consider it a demon bird. It stayed quiet, but it continued to stare, menacingly, at the edge of a cliff that was to its right, about half a mile away. It didn't blink once... not once, since it opened its unusual looking eyes. From its point of view, there seemed to be a dark figure standing upon the edge of the cliff. The figure moved slightly, as if it had turned its head toward the bird, staring at it back. The bird was not moved. The dark figure, however, was actually human. He had dark blue eyes and long, jet black, hair that went down his spine in a pony tail. He was dressed in a knight's armor, but had metal wings attatched to the back of his body armor. A sheath lay on each side of his waist for his swords. The black knight's name is Lucite. Though his vision could not see the bird as clearly from where he was, he knew very well that it was there. That bird is not normal...if it actually IS a bird. After looking at it for a few moments the bird had simply disappeared, as if it had never been there to begin with. With a startled blink, Lucite checked the area once more before simply forgetting about it. He knew that the area was strange and that there were rumors about people seeing things when they were here, but he knew well enough that the bird wasn't just something he imagined. He was far to focused for that. Regardless, Lucite didn't want to wonder about it too much. He drew his swords and began to levitate them in such a way that they rotated around him, at a decent pace. He closed his eyes and folded his arms across his chest as the swords continued to rotate around him. This was something he did to meditate, to keep his mind clear. It was something he liked to call...the Sword's Dance. Last edited by Jack London; 11/25/06 at 03:37 AM. |

| Made a Grown Man Cry. Epic | A figure could be seen walking through the snow covered plain, its red sneakers imprinting its footprints into the snow with every step it took. As it grew closer to the mysterious man that stood on the edge of the cliff near-by, it was revealed that the figure was a male. The unidentified man stopped and kept his distance away from the other competitor, crossing his arms and kept his hazel colored eyes on Lucite. A smirk was etched on the man's face as he heard numerous amount of rumors about the plain he was standing on, thinking that maybe one of his opponents was just a figment of his imagination. A cold breeze started to pick up, blowing a mist of snow across the plain and made the man's brown hair blow to the side. Yet, I bet you're wondering who could this person be? Well that would be answered right now... The man looked to be around the ages of seventeen to twenty not to mention had short brown hair with long bangs that nearly covered his hazel colored eyes. He wore a red ninja-gi which had a kanji on the back of it, which stood for "Bushin" or "Warrior God" in Japanese along with a pair of red Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars. The man also wore a pair of silver, fingerless gauntlets along with a silver waist belt and silver ankle guards. His name...? None other than Guy, the master of the fighting style known as the Bushinryu of Ninjutsu. All though there was a cooling breeze, Guy was not bothered by it at all. He was used to this kind of weather condition even though it was below freezing temperatures. Lowering his arms Guy got into his usual fighting stance without taking his eyes off of Lucite, examining his attire. Great. Another knight rip-off. This should be fun. he thought bitterly to himself while watching his opponent's sword levitate on their own, circling around him as if they were dancing. But.. from the looks of it, he may know a little bit of magic. Don't matter, magic or not, I'll still beat him and whoever the other guy is. Guy thought once again to himself, his eyes gazed upon Lucite while he waited for the other competitor to arrive. Last edited by Aphex; 11/25/06 at 05:31 AM. |

| The 5th Apocalyptic Rider | (ooc. THere. Good luck to both of you, and let the best prove himself by being the last one standing. Here's a template: Dark.) They had reached a point in which time seemed endless. There was nothing more to care about now. All that was left was one final battle to decide the faith of the world to come. Now, there was an ominous feeling in the air. The moon itself seemed to be griming demonically down at them, and the white snow that covered the ground also served to adorn the naked trees. Around them, no other speck of life was seen. It seemed if the world itself had come to a stop, and ties to reality seemed fragile. It is then that a black raven decided to come down and embellish a dead, discolored, stiff branch of a decaying tree. I As it stood there gently, it began to stare towards the distance at what seemed exactly whom it was gazing for. Soon, another individual began to walk towards them, and at this Dark knew it was time to join as well. Spreading his wings, the raven began to fly into the nothingness it had come from, and as sullenly as it had appeared, now it was gone. It was then that a 3rd man appeared. His face was shrouded by a dark cloak that encased his body, and as he moved, his robe was moved slightly by the movement of his body. On his sides rested a pair of sharp, double-edged rapiers; their handles were made differently, one out of gold while the other out of platinum, and at the end of each was a black orb encrusted on them. As he walked, the chain-mail under his robe began to clatter slightly. Facing them, he reached over his sides and unsheathed his blades and stared directly at the eyes of each one of them. The tension began to rise as he waited for the first move to take place, and so, clutching his blades tightly on his hands, he stood motionless in the cold winter’s night… Last edited by Dark-Disciple; 12/03/06 at 03:38 PM. |

| Banned | Lucite's eyes still remained closed. His earing was enhanced, and a picture of the forest, in front of him, was scetched as the crunching sound of snow, being stepped on, could easily be heard. "Great, another knight rip-off. This should be fun" The words of the ninja echoed in the black knight's mind, even though they didn't really come from the ninja's mouth. He was able to listen to nearby people's thoughts in this meditation state that he was in. A sketch of the ninja's basic structure was added to the mental picture of the forest, in Lucite's mind. "But.. from the looks of it, he may know a little bit of magic. Don't matter, magic or not, I'll still beat him and whoever the other guy is." The thoughts of the ninja continued to echo in Lucite's mind. Guy, seemed to be the ninja's name. He's determined....confident....maybe a bit TOO confident. Still....he's no weakling... Lucite thought, judging by the ninja's thoughts. Just a few moments later, another set of footsteps could be heard, travelling through the snow. The sound of blades, being unsheathed, followed soon after. A sketch of the newcomer was added to the mental picture of the forest, in Lucite's mind, after a few seconds. This one was different, however... his mind was blank. Lucite's eyes snapped open, his blue eyes, seemingly, glowing in the darkness. His swords had been rotating around him the entire time, and still were. His gaze were set upon Guy first, analyzing him carefully. The black knight's eyes slowly moved to the newcomer, who was dressed in a black cloak, his face being difficult to see. Taking a good look at his weapons, however, he could see that there were black orbs molded upon them. Black mage? Lucite thought, not really being the talking type. Though, it was a fighting tradition to fight in the same magical ability of his opponents. Still, he was simply stereotyping. There was no way he could possibly know what he was capable of unless he had fought him first. Not wanting to use any of his auras, just yet, his rotating swords slowed to a stop, in mid air. The black knight grabbed the hilts of his swords and, slowly, took a fighter's stace as he returned his gaze toward Guy. His dark blue eyes slowly shifted downward, toward the snow that was about four feet away from his feet. Lucite's muscles tensed as the grip on his swords tightened. He swiftly sliced the air in front of him, his blades gleaming in the moonlight. A disc of air shot out from each of the blades, causing a large amount of snow to kick up and head toward Guy. Turning his attention to the cloaked figure, he did the same. At the moment, Lucite didn't intend to harm them in any way. He simply wanted to blind them for a few seconds as he made his next move. Spreading his arms out wide, the black knight leaped backward, jumping off the edge of the cliff and toward the bottom of it, which was about two-hundred meters high, head first. The air past by him at a quick pace he fell, his face still remaining blank and unemotional. He was luring them... Last edited by Jack London; 12/01/06 at 04:27 AM. |

| Made a Grown Man Cry. Epic | Guy's hazel colored eyes continue to stare directly at Lucite, but his attention was suddenly caught once he heard the sounds of footsteps. It the sound grew louder and louder and the figure seem to be getting closer to the two fighters. Guy gazed upon the other competitor that finally arrived, examining his attire and only two words came to mind. Black Mage... Those words echoed in his head. Looks like I have a little problem here... a swordsman and a mage. Both having blades at their disposal... Not good at all. Still I can't let that get to me. But his thoughts were suddenly interrupted as he heard something flying through the air. Once looked over at Lucite again, all he could see was a projectile-type attack heading straight towards him. Guy just had a grin on his face as he ran straight towards the discs made up of nothing but air, running right through the mist of snow and passed the discs with amazing speeds. Guy slowed down, skidding before coming to a complete stop. Before the attack, he manage to see Lucite jump right off the edge of the cliff and was plummeting head first straight down at whatever was at the bottom of the high drop. Hmmm... jumping off a cliff right after an attack? He's up to something. The Bushinryu ninja thought to himself as he turned his attention to his other opponent. He noticed that Lucite had performed the same manuver on Dark. Seeing how there was snow blown into the air Guy took this as a chance to attack. And so he did, running towards the mist of snow that blurred Dark's vision, jumping through it and attempted to strike him with a roundhouse kick to the face. |

| The 5th Apocalyptic Rider | Analyzing his opponents as he stood in silence, a movement on the other side of the field caught Dark’s eye. Shortly, the metal knight shot a sharp disc towards him and the ninja adjacent to him. Having snow follow the disc, soon all he could see was a wave of snow coming straight at him. Without wasting time, Dark then jabbed one of his blades on the ground, as it soon began to be enveloped by his shadow. A black cloud began to encase his sword as it began expanding and moving up, swallowing his arm and then his body; almost immediately, Dark was no longer there as he then rematerialized under the shadow of a tree. Once he was up however, he saw what awaited him behind the air blast that had been shot by Lucite seconds ago. Forgetting about the disappearance of his other opponent, he looked at how Guy moved behind the wave of snow as he had prepared a surprise attack to meet Dark, but since he no longer was there, Dark soon decided to turn the tables and attack him from behind. With his sword at hand and pointing towards the ninja, Dark then began to mutter some words in a soft voice; the last words being Altra Extraho Consequently, again his shadow came to swathe his sword as it was soon shot towards Guy. As soon as the blast came out from the tip of his blade though, it began to take the form of a fearsome dragon. Its eyes glowed of a blinding blood-red pigmentation, and from them, lasers began to shot towards Guy's back as the Dragon then began to open his mouth to swallow his opponent.. |
