Default Pump up the Jam.

Name: Shinsui
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Race: Definitely not human. Though I look it, I guess.

Occupation: I figure I'd give everyone else a chance to tell me what I am, and then I'd just roll with it.

Appearance: What can I say? Black scraggly hair. Green eyes. Pretty attractive. A jacket and pants will suffice, and maybe a pair of those japanese sandals.

Abilities: I'm particularly normal on my own. OK I lie. Take me on in melee combat and you're bound to get yourself hurt. I don't follow any particular style of martial art, it's too restrictive. My inhuman reflexes allow me to compensate, which goes well with a tactical mind. The environment is my tool, and I handle all weapons with relative efficiency.

I'm unpredictable, and it doesn't help much when all these biochanical augmentations increase my strength and speed exponentially.

Weapons: I've got quite a number of tools at my disposal. You wouldn't think I was the scientist type, but I guess if you gear me with the mechanic stereotype we can keep things going and dismiss my abnormal IQ as well.

I don't have time for magic. With my ever-exanding array of technology, I'll never have to waste my energy on it. A neural interface exists within my very body. It's called a brain. I work in a particular field known as Biotechnics. It involves an amalgamation between organic and synthetic matter. It's like a living machine of sorts.

Basically, my brain functions as the computer, but certain implants allow my brain to interact with external hardware via frequencies that run a virtual immitation of the nervous impulses I send throughout my body. So, to sum it all up, I can interact with all forms of technology as if I were moving a finger or taking a step.

Though I'm well educated in various technological scripts, it also means I can translate foreign codes from technologies existing in other civilsations. To me it's like speaking in a different dialect, rather than a different language.

I still need to eat and drink and sleep like most organics, in fact you could technically say that nothing inside me is really robotic at all. It's not even really cyborganic. Biotechnics transcends this. All my equipment draw power through photosynthesis, as does my body as a secondary. This is the conversion of photons into electricity or energy, and while it's most effective in range of sunlight, it can be used with any light. Even dimly lit rooms.

I wield a shield and a sword most of the time. They're more like codenames, by the way. Sword is a firearm capable of shifting shape and mode. These modes are automatic fire (assault rifle), controlled burst (handgun), longarm (sniper) and trajectory (heavy assault). It runs on a "conversion" system where ammunition is created from the surroundings to bypass running out. Photosynthesis again can be used for this and is the default energy round.

However, I custom design rounds of my own, usually outside the heat of battle, but it's just as simple during a fight. It's a chemical reaction process. Through minor tweaks of the gun, the shape of the round fired can be altered (ie. weakening magnetism of barrel = shredder rounds) whereas the actual composition of the round is determined by what I add to the mixture (chemical agents might = incediary rounds).

Utilising nature is a key aspect of Biotechnics. Through Shield I have my most useful tool. It does provide defense mechanisms, but it's not really the primary use. Instead, Shield can be used to reduce compounds to more mutable forms, so that I can re-construct them into tools of my own. Examples include the very implants I designed for myself, nanochips made to re-animate the dead (or sleeping) and just maybe...

Nah, I won't get much further into it.

Personality: What am I like? Well I'm pretty easy to get along with really. Like everyone else I can get into a foul mood, but that's not frequent. Don't mind a good party, I've got a lot of brain cells to lose. But deep down, I've got that innate desire for power, and domination.

Dunno what to do with him. I wrote in 1st person because this is a quick bio and I just want the idea on something like paper but not so easy to lose so I thought "hey the internet!".

That's not fair, I tried to make him as weak a power character as possible. =(

He relies on his technology, essentially. Sure I've got backup plans if people were to exploit it, but if you managed to shoot him in the skull he might die. Might.
