Default The Insane Game

Battle between me and Time. I'll be using my 'game' character from the other thread. Time will be using his character. Ordinary rules, ordinary gameplay. Let's do this.

Name: Translation would be Daniel, if we could ever have a translation from his language to our own.
Age: Well, considering Daniel's species have a life span that exceeds a normal human life span more than ten times, Daniel is relatively young at 200.
Species: Homo-Mentis
Appearance: Get back to you on this, it will be something else than described here for the battle anyway.
Personality: A teacher. He dislikes battling, really, and would rather teach than go about letting everyone around him ignorant of the lessons he has learned. He sees himself as a mere spec of everyone, and is not anything more than the person next to him. He likes to help people, but at times, realize you must fight for what one believes in. This doesn't happen very often, though.

To a normal human being, Daniel would be considered a super genius but is in fact only of average intelligence for his species.
Abilities: Daniel has a large range of 'abilities', although to him they are no more useless or important to him than his right leg. His abilities are a part of naturally occurring evolution of his species. Needless to say, specific organs are there to handle certain traits. Removing said organs would be like removing the heart or the liver from the human body, sometimes fatal.

List of abilities:

Light Manipulation
Sound/Vibration Manipulation

Extreme Bacteria growth and manipulation – An organ withing Daniel's body is designed for the growth of bacteria and the ability to control and manipulate said bacteria at will. The DNA composition can consist of any possible choices, as there are chemical agents and bacteria themselves that are designed to trap other bacteria and copy their DNA, then use it for later purposes. This is also used as a part of Daniel's immune system, as his natural one is very weak.

Daniel's species also has the odd ability to control spiritual energy, through the different points in a person's body, or through just directly manipulating the energy at will (lol naruto, watching to much of that shit). He is not able to physically harm someone from doing this, but can make them pass out, as the energy flow throughout their body can become increasingly unbalanced, and lead to the passing out of the subject. Difficult, if not impossible, to do at a distance, Daniel can only actually do this if physically fighting an opponent, which rarely happens. Though, he can, in fact, manipulate the energy within the brain, but this cannot harm a person physically, in any sense.

Daniel also has an extensive knowledge on the mind of his own species and the physiology of his own species, and coincidentally, would allow him to know the mentalities and physical body of say, a human.

History: Daniel was drafted as a child ( 20 years of age) to a program made to handle with species that got out of control throughout their universe. Like the secret military programs on Earth, they were done very cunningly, conveniently making it seem like the child had died, or was kidnapped by another person, etc. The government was never held responsible for the missing children, though, of course, many had their suspicions.

Shit happened, I'm still thinking of this. Sorry COF, might have to wait for most of this. Just use this and his personality to figure stuff out and use that. Sorry dude. Ask me questions on the species at anytime.

Beep... beep… beep…

The steady whine of computers filled the white room, despite the utter lack of life which surrounded the dull grey monitors. The room itself was ordinary, covered with simple white paint, simple metal shelves, and simple file cabinets, which were each filled with simple white paper, with simple black lines typed upon them. If one was too leave this room, and enter the hallway, they would find identical rooms along a plain, simple white hallway. If they entered the simple white elevator, they could ride down each floor, and find an identical hallway, with identical rooms, identical file cabinets, and identical computers. Everything was the epitome of normality, and each isolated cubicle gave off the dust covered impression of never being used…

However, as the elevator progresses downwards, sinking beneath the earth and far below the surface of the road, the view changes drastically. Wooden doors give way to electrified metal gates. Door knobs give way to coded key pads. Dusty shelves are replaced by locked safes. And instead of fire alarms, rows and rows of armed lockers line the lamp-lit hallways. These armed lockers contain enough weaponry and small arms to fuel a small army. Yet they sit there, unused… The deeper it gets, the more bizarre it becomes, until finally, it gives way to a cold, barely lit, laboratory. Chemical flasks line the sides, and although the dust covering them suggests that they haven’t been used for years, cabinets still line the walls, locked with a keypad and marked with a large yellow “DANGER” sign. A single metal bed is outfitted with chains and restraints, and as one stares at it, it seems to loom ominously out of the darkness…

As the sun sets on the skyscraper, which outside, towers above the ground like a finger pointing toward the heavens, the intercom flashes to life with a distorted buzz, and a scratchy, tinny voices echoes throughout the abandoned skyscraper…

“Attention please… the game has begun… hehe…hehe…”

In the basement, or was it the basement, or the third floor, or the grey hallway? Did it matter? Not really, it was all the same. The subjective view of the mind, what is real is what you sense is real. Such as the two men walking lonely down the hallway, each hallway, side by side. They were real, as real as the sun, to the people around. They could taste them, smell them, see them and hear them. But they looked exactly alike. Sextuplets? No, maybe more? Who knew?

I walked down the hall into the main shaft, or was it the main shaft? Down into the computer labs, or was it up? Down, up, left right. It was all the same in the land of make believe. Invitations invitations. That's all that they were. Things that were interesting to the eye to see. They didn't matter. they didn't matter. Or did they?

Smelly, smelly, smelly. Why does it smell so bad? Hmm, I don't know. A joker? A card? 300? A prison? Did it matter? Fleeting, fleeting, fleeting. Oh, pretty images.

One, one, one did actually matter. Reality is real not matter how fake. Human eyes are only human, after all. Which is which? Which is which.
