Default Tis The Days That Made Us What We Are

Open challenge.

I've been out of it for a while. Been getting shit straightened for college but I have a little time now, and spring break next week so I hope to get a battle or two in now.

Power Battle.

1v1.

Setting- Large marble stone floating in a similar environment to space. Many other rocks float around endlessly.

I will be using Courage. If you need a template, ask.

Now goes for yours.

Yes?

Name:
Lae. (Pronounced; L-ai-i.)

Title: (none.)

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Race / Species: Homo sapien.

Appearance: Stands at a meager 5’3”, and weighs in at an equally meager 102 pounds. His complexion is naturally pale, with a curious expression seemingly cemented onto his face. He is quite a large fan of slim-fitting shirts and sweatshirts, typically in a warm color scheme; reds, oranges, yellows, etc. He's very seldom seen without his favorite red and orange 'Madrid' hoodie. He likes his chocolate brown hair shaggy and typically hanging over his eyes. His eyes are a livid green, inherited, as he always notes, from his mother (he'd never admit to inheriting anything from his dad.) He wears baggy cargo pants (again, many useless, hidden pockets) usually in olive green with studded black belts supporting them. On his feet he wears a pair of checkered Converse. Wrist contents include one grey sweat band and on the opposing wrist, a medical identification bracelet.

Personality: Lae is a puzzle, being oblivious to most of the events occurring around him. He’s typically nonchalant and callous, with little passion for anything- except for writing poetry. Beneath his ignorant, juvenile appearance lies a deeper sense of being, with wisdom and intellect that far surpasses most people his age. He rarely gets into arguments, resolving to keep his opinions to himself and not let pointless squabbles affect him.

Abilities: A catalyst for inter-dimensional transport, Lae can call upon most any kind of creature to come for his aid. Luckily for him, the creatures that do arrive have an almost built-in instinct to protect and guard him from any offensive power he faces; that means round-the-clock protection from every corner of time and space.

Likes: Writing, fencing, music, reading, playing video games, big dogs.

Dislikes: Loud people in movie theatres, cigarette smoke, pompous people.

Theme Song: "Still Alive," by GLaDOS.

Quote: "Tea, actually."

Dimensions.

A subject that gave Courage a liking whenever he spoke of it. The variety and shapes and secrets and everything else about them. In human terms, it related to a hobby of traveling, but courage grew to traveling from one dimension to another. It was like the doorways to knowledge and infinite wisdom, and ohh how he adored that feeling. Before he entered the realm, he felt a bit of humanity, or sanity as butterflies formed in his stomach.

Taking the doorway, he knew of the future, and a battle it withheld for himself. The virtue had done this for ages and was the only thing he began to grow tired of. The warriors in this age, sought for ultimate power, the kind that would destroy another with the flicker of a finger. But their lack of knowledge of themselves and the limits and bounds to reality, chained them to levels that made them weak. Courage was beginning to surpass this level and find the truth in war.

A gravitational pull made his feet heavy as he realized he was within space. The virtue stepped upon a large marble or granite rock. It was large in mass, and was mimicked with the same sizes of earth floating around. Leisurely strolling on the new environment, a rock was slowly making its way to colliding against him. Gently placing his hand upon the rock, he pushed with a light force that sent it into a frenzy of destruction. And what chaos it created, as other rocks smashed into it, veering them into unknown directions.

Courage sensed nothing in this realm just yet. Before he grew tired again and left, he had but one more thing to do. Sitting down, his canvas was brought out and he drew his paintbrush from his side. Carefully he began his work, painting this dimension with amount of skill that his hands could possibly create. The farther he got into this work, the more aroused he became. This would keep him busy.

For a short time.
